I'm actually shocked at all of the very positive reviews. My friends and I found this tour extremely disappointing. It was so boring- there's no real history (it's a pretty new company) and the guy that owns Seacrets basically collects weird things. That's what you see. The best thing was the tasting at the end!

My favorite distillery for so far. I love the little touches that made it stand out and the information about the actual diddling was great as well. There spiced rum was amazing! We had to purchase a bottle we lived it so much.

The tour is $15 per person and you should do it. We have been on many distillery tours in KY that can't even come close to this one. They have really cool stuff in there. The desk of Thomas Edison is in this place. The bourbon was really good. I wouldn't recommend the wildfire whiskey though. The prices are really reasonable, it was 50 for a bottle of bourbon and $22 for vodka!! If you do the tour you get a 10 percent discount and the more bottles you buy the bigger the discount. Tours are every hour but if you arrive early head down the path and check out the beach bars. You won't regret this experience. They give you 3 full shots of the 3 you want. Just started seltzer like drinks and you get to try some of those too. Employees seemed happy here. Always makes for a better experience when the people that have to get paid to go there actually want to be there.

If you are into tours and finding out how things are made, I recommend this tour. The tour lasts 60 minutes which includes a tasting of 3 full size shots at the end. It's an entertaining and informative tour, delicious liquors, and well worth the price of admissions. The liquor is corn based and therefore gluten free. The only down side was the air conditioning wasn't working consistently throughout the building, so at times it was a little too warm after spending the rest of the day in the heat and humidity. Pro tip: If you go with someone or small group, get different samples and you can share and try more!

Tony and I Loved Loved Loved this bar/restaurant There was sand on the floors, rebar made seats, and tons of great decore and fun happy atmosphere We definitely will be coming back here again They also have a distillery where you drop $10 person and get three shots at the end!!! Some really great Vodka, Rum and Whiskey some with some great flavors There is a live band at 4pm to 10pm, this weekend is last nights of closing early Staff very friendly I definitely want to go again in the summer and eat at a table in the Bay Water

Literally everyone should come and do this tour! I've been on one other distillery tour before but this one blew the other out of the water! The tour is designated as an experience within the tour. They crafted the distillery during the prohibition era which was super cool! For 15$ we did the hour long tour and got three spirits to try at the end. All of them were good! I would have def. Bought a bottle if I was into liquor like that. 10/10

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. At the end you get to taste some of the liquor.

Luckily, this is nothing like the Seacrets island-themed bar area in the same corner. Same owner but totally different vibe and feel. You can't just go in and have a drink (which has been my typical experience at distilleries so if this is yours then read on) Gotta make a reservation for a guided tour. You can make a res super easy online on their site. It's $15/per and you get about an hour tour of the whole distillery as well as 3 shots of your choosing and some other goodies. The whole vibe is like prohibition era speak easy full of antiques and historical artifacts. HAILEY our guide was fantastic. A real character and was clearly happy with her job and gladly answered questions/ made the tour fun. Then you get 10% off any purchases for doing the tour. I'm sure you can go to the shop and purchase any of the spirits if you just wanted to pick up but a discount is always cute. Plus you get to taste and see what you actually want. The bottles are all very affordable too they're like absolute bottle size and anywhere between $20-$27.

A special thank you to Peter "Pan" for making our night so memorable. Not only were the cocktails delicious, but watching him craft those amazing bourbon creations was an experience in itself. We will definitely be taking an Uber next time so we can fully indulge in even more of those exceptional bourbon cocktails! Thank you for a wonderful evening. We can't wait to come back!

I only had the one I paid for. There's no need to lie, bad days happen. This is not a speakeasy, this is a restaurant cosplaying as a speakeasy. That may be a bit harsh, it's a speakeasy in training. Sure, it's got all of the speakeasy decor, blackout curtains over the windows and doors, and a big selection of pedestrian liquor but it's not quite there. We went in on an early evening on Wed and there were maybe 5 other patrons in there. Our waitress was nice and brought us water to the high top. She brought us two food menus, and a specials menu. I asked for a bourbon list and she brought it; no prices on the list. Annoying. On the specials menu there was a small section of manager recommended drinks and one was a Willet. The way it was written was confusing because it said it was both a 4 year and 14 year for $52, so I asked for clarification on the age statement. She took the menu to the barkeep, who confirmed it was a 14 year so I said yes I'll have that. A drink was brought to me, but I could tell from the taste that it was not what I ordered. I asked the waitress for the bottle, she asked the guy behind the bar for the bottle and he pulled down a willet pot still bottle (pot still is the entry level Willet and at best a 5 dollar pour, no where near what I asked for). I told her that I was given the wrong drink, then she approached the bar and between her, and the male and female bartenders they had a weird back and forth conversation. Then, finally they pulled down the bottle that I asked for, that was advertised, and gave me a pour of it. I asked to see the bottle and the waitress brought it over but held it instead of putting it on the table (it was a 13 year Willet, Paper Trail). As we were about to order we were told that they reset the menu the very day before, with the focus of putting more love and care into the food. Feeling good about that, we ordered the French quarter catfish and the bourbon braised short ribs. The corn that came with the short ribs tasted straight out of a store bought steamable pouch, and the "ribs" weren't ribs at all, just sliced meat. The only redeemable thing about the catfish dish was the aioli; the rice had no flavor, the corn was cold and hard, and the catfish was mostly breading. We both took a few bites and resigned. I have been to many speakeasies around the US, and there are common themes: a much better selection of liquor; 95% of the bourbon were low tier bottles you can find in any liquor store for around $50. Also, when customers ask for the bottle, it isn't because we plan to steal it or drink from it, its because we're genuinely interested in the information on the labels. The quickest way to get people to stop spending money is to make them feel as if they can't be trusted touching a bottle. Perhaps it was an off day for the staff and this wasn't a typical experience, but I won't go back.
