We tend to be really particular and did a lot of research before choosing where to go. Kevin stood out right away. He clearly takes pride in his work and pays attention to every detail. He's super knowledgeable, skilled, and patient -- took the time to walk us through the entire process and answered all our (many!) questions with ease. What we really appreciated was how relaxed and friendly the experience was. Kevin is easy to talk to, responsive, and just a genuinely kind person. We actually stuck around during both visits and ended up chatting about all sorts of things. Even though he runs everything solo, he manages it all gracefully without ever making us feel rushed. While we were there, we also saw him working on some high-end cars -- one of them was in for a second ceramic job, which speaks volumes about the level of trust his clients have in him. Before he began, he asked if I had any questions and he answered any of my concerns. He spent about 4 hours reviving my 2014 minivan and it looked pretty awesome afterwards. I did noticed a couple of minor deficiencies and he quickly addressed and rectified them. The service cost is a bit high but I was pleased with his efforts and his results. After going back & forth with the owner, trying to schedule for almost two weeks, I called him yesterday to see if he can detail my car today. He said they could be to my residence between 2-3PM. I agreed that the time would work for me. He called me at 11:10 AM to say that they could be here between 12-12:30PM. I told him to make it 12:30; he agreed. Since I live in an apt bldg, I texted him at 12:20PM just to let him know I was waiting in my car at the front entrance to my building. No response! I waited until 12:45PM and texted to ask for his ETA; he texted back that they would arrive at 1:05PM. His worker called me at 1:02PM to tell me that they were stuck in traffic and they would be here in 45 minutes!! A bit unrealistic; traffic is not that heavy around 1PM, but I just said OK. WELL, NO-SHOW! NO CALL OR TEXT... AND WORST OF ALL... NO APOLOGY!!! I called the owner's number and his worker's number at 2:00PM; both calls went to voicemail! I then texted the owner to let him know that he wasted my entire day. He then texted back that he's in class and he asked ME if his worker was having trouble finding me? I would not know because I wasn't advised! I had two problems with that text... The first being that the owner lied to me, because he previously told me about a week ago, that he has classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Well, today is Wednesday and he texted that he's in class! My second issue is that he told me that HE and his worker would both be working on my car, and gave me no indication otherwise! Save yourself the aggravation and find another detailer to work on your car! And don't be fooled by all the phony reviews; his own worker, Zain, gave a 5-Star review! Yelp doesn't recommend the phony reviews for good reason! Kudos to Yelp for detecting the deception!
