I would never recommend financial partner credit union to nobody, I lost my atm and I opened a claim , after they take 4 ridiculous months, without contact me to tell me, I'm lost the case i called then because it was long time , they told me that I used my atm with the password for all those transactions and that was not true, I never used my password for that , somebody used . so this back not resolve nothing in that case . Now I unfortunately have my car loan still here but have since moved to another credit union due to the lack of care from one specific employee - Crystal with loan departments. I do have to say Nicole with loan department is the nicest kindness person and actually cares about the callers she assists. While Crystal needs customer service training and needs love at home to be able to empathize with the community she thinks she is serving. As a manager how can you allow someone to speak to people in such rude manner. Because of her im taking my home sale proceeds to my new credit union. Apply for a loan here the moment you have a struggle they send you a Lawsuit. Even after telling them there is hardship and want to pay it back just need a bit of time. I wouldn't recommend them for loans or help check the rest of the reviews. They play you into getting the loan don't tell you much just sign here it will be okay! I even applied for work here just so I can pay the loan no help whatsoever. Crazy. Imagine every single person that has had a loan and hardship since COVID. Lawsuit case in process for repayment you tell them you need help and just time to make the payment but instead sue you for the WHOLE AMOUNT TO BE PAID OH WAIT PLUS another 1k and change for their lawyer fees to top it off. All my payments were on time prior to this hardship that counts for nothing at all. I understand you need your money back that's okay! But I asked for HELP! I have been a customer of this credit union for numerous years. May father worked with Rockwell and started an account with them about 50 years ago. My parents had a line of credit with them, which was on auto pay for years. Dad died and the 30 year line of credit came due, we received no warning about this. They put a lien on my mom's house, and took all the funds out of my mom's savings account with them. She was 89 years old at that time. We called immediately and explained, said we would have been happy to pay off the loan and even start a new line of credit to remodel my Mom's house. They were very rude and told us we defaulted. I explained the situation and told them my parents had been members for 50 years and never even got a courtesy call about the loan due date. We paid off the balance of the loan, but they added on a bunch of fees and kept charging us interest and would not remove the lien on my parents house. No one cared or would listen, they were rude and had no compassion for my poor mother, taking all of her funds. It took months to remove the lien on the house, which we tried to sell, but could not because of this. They had been fully paid but would not remove the lien. Its taken me a while to post this, as my mother died during this whole process, which made everything more difficult. Please everyone, don't do business with this company. I cant tell you how much they have hurt my family. read more

When my card expired, I called Financial Partners and requested a card that would permit me to make debit/credit transactions like my Logix Credit Union does. The Financial Partner representative suggested I go paperless, so I did. The institution sent me the card and away I went. Fast forward 27 months to today and this is where all the excitement begins. I decided to check my account for an anticipated refund credit. My jaw dropped, Financial Partners charged me 217 times at $5.00 a piece over the past 27 months! That's $1,085.00 in Service Fees! so for every purchase made, big or small, I gave these CROOKS a $5 tip! Financial Partners NEVER made any mention of transferring money from here to there to avoid service fees! The crappier part of it all is that this unethical banking outfit NEVER sent me a letter to say that monies needed to be moved from here to there nor did they EVER send overdraft letters or letters of concern. There is ALWAYS money in the account just not in the right account according to their representative. The representative offered to credit me 14 Service Fees ($70), that's fantastic, now I'm only out $1,015.00! Once again, no letter, no phone call! CROOKS! For my Brothers in Local 105, pull your money out immediately! Shame on our Business Administrators for letting this unethical outfit handle our money for the past 10 years. Financial Partners has been sucking the interest on our monthly contributions of +2,500 members and this is the appreciation shown, not to mention I took out a $20,000 motorcycle loan from these CROOKS! read more

I have been a member for nearly 40 years from when it was Rockwell Credit but I am closing my account. They let someone hack into my account and steal thousands of dollars from my account. That is not the worst part for sure. They were not sure who was taking my money so they closed my account of nearly 40 years and gave me another. I went into the credit union today around noon and noticed there were many people waiting. Usually they have someone to sign you in no one was there a teller made eye contact with me and asked if I needed anything. I told her I had a question on my statement. She said there would be a 2 hour wait. I asked her a question she told me she couldn't help me she had to get back to her customer and she already told me there was a 2 hour wait. That is extremely poor customer service. A 2 hour wait is absurd. I have been banking there fr years time to move my money. read more

My Rep Maribel Vega order me a credit card due to a Promo since I been a member for a long time I got approved and after my approval she offer me to apply for a car loan to refinance my car and help with the high interest I was paying at the other bank. Maribel vega and the rest of the crew that made this possible were very communicative I kept calling Maribel for stupid questions (excuse my language) and she was always there to answer everything I needed, very happy I got approved and the transition was very smooth. Opened an account end of November to use as a secondary checking account to collect rents from our tenants. I tried to make a deposit over 500 dollars thru Zell and they did not allow it being a new account. A check I deposited bounced didn't clear. I didn't receive a phone call, email or correspondence regarding the matter of being overdrawn. I tried to make a deposit at a COOP ATM they didn't accept it I called their customer service center and they said there was no problem. I didn't think any of it didn't try to deposit I used my other account I didn't try to use this account for another 3 weeks. When I tried to make a cash deposit for 1000.00 dollars using an automated teller at their branch in Hungtington Beach and talking to someone on a screen and on hold for 15 mins. they told me I was overdrawn for 128.91 cents...I said o.k. Take it from the deposit. They took the payment then they informed me that they had frozen this account because it was overdrawn over 45 days and they would have to close it. I said I wasn't aware of the amount and that it wasn't a primary account. It was only open for 2 months. They took my payment but couldn't get me change apperantly their fancy tellers can't do that....A bank could not give me 9 cents change. They returned the rest of of my cash and told me they couldn't reopen my account...I got a letter 5 days latet that they had reported me to chexsystems for having my account overdrawn over 45 days and no payment...When I paid them in full plus an extra 9 cents. Now I can't open a new checking account anywhere else for 3 to 5 years! for an overdraft of 128.91 that I paid! I tried getting them to resolve this and they said it is what it is!! you were sent a letter about this overdraft...I'm surprise they didn't sent a telegram a horse rider or a fax...In todays day this organization will not call you, email you or text you the risk manager said it her self. According to them a letter is suffice notice. However they took my payment, unable to give .9 cents change and reported this extreme amount of 128.91 to the Chexsystem to ruin me for the next 5 Years. It's equivalent to a short sell or forclosure on my credit. This Credit Union is not out to be your partner they are out to hurt people and ruin them. STAY CLEAR and far away. I'm fortunate that I didn't close my other checking account with my other institution. I will be suing them in small claims for the 9 cents and obtainig legal representation for ruining my credit and placing me in this system. 1 star because it was clean inside, 1 star because the people inside were nice and friendly = 2 stars. My issue is that the tellers inside are virtual on a computer and there are no instructions on how to use the virtual teller screen, which was very confusing. I understand that it is COVID-19, and I am technology competent, however instructions on how to use would have been helpful. Please have at least 1 real life teller in case customers don't want to use a screen or need assistance using the virtual screen teller. For someone who had never been to this location before, you wouldn't have known that they are utilizing virtual tellers or how to operate the screens. read more

I transferred my car loan to Navy Federal a credit Union and I would like to refund my GAP payment to FInancial Partners and they said i should have cancelled 1 month after I purchased it . I far as I know GAP is for the duration of the car loan . I cancelled my GAP with Toyota Motors and I got a refund . read more

If you have any money there, close the account and run. They make it extremely difficult to close the accounts of deceased persons, probably because they want to hold on to the money as long as possible. Their bag of tricks includes an extremely confusing and complex form, requiring the signature of a dead person, demanding a list of names, but providing space for only one name and more. The excuse they give for this atrocity is security. Fair enough, security is needed, but requiring the signature of a dead person is obfuscation. They need information, which is fair, but designing a complex and confusing form, which is impossible to complete is clearly intended to make it difficult on people. The honored their mistake, fast forward 8 years and I move out of state and register the car out of state. 2 years go by and i pay off the vehicle. They send my title to the wrong state and now the DMV for a state the car has not been registered in for almost 4 years wont release my pink slip. Update #1: FPCU rate seems competitive against peer institutions, so I just begun re-fi process. Application submitted, credit ran and rate is verbally agreed then received rate lock email confirmation. Also told that disclosure will be emailed within 2 days. Nothing for 8 days (understandable due to current re-fi surge). On 9th day (today), my loan officer (Carlos) called and informed that they cannot honor agreed terms instead offering the same rate with additional point by 0.625!!! Basically, FPCU team (or mgmt) think their rate is too competitive, so switching the product to increase their profit margin. How is it different from bait and switch scheme? Very disappointed on their professionalism. On the other hand, when a customer needs to re-lock after lock agreement to take advantage of decreasing rate, FPCU charges 0.5 pt fee. How can it be fair and consistent to customer? I want to note that there is no complaints against my loan consultant (Carlos) as he seems just a messenger. I recommend to avoid future business with FPCU, if this practice is in line with FPCU management principle. read more
