She is so knowledgeable and great to speak with. Loved my consult with her. After my consult, where I was filled with a bunch of great info, I booked into my IPL appointment. The IPL laser felt like an elastic band against my skin. Margarita was efficient and explained everything as she was doing it. Already a few days later I notice a huge difference in my skin. I'm so happy with the results and my consult with Margarita. I will continue to try out other services.

After being treated to a coffee and a choice of services, from Micro dermabrasion (my favourite procedure!) or manicure, pedicure, facial... choices seemed to be extensive. So I picked a pedicure for some pampering. And boy, did I get pampered. As most of us know a foot massage is heavenly and this one was great. After my esthetician took care of my nails and my rough feet, she worked my legs with a scrub and then an awesome massage. She was nice enough to say that my feet weren't so bad and would I like an extra few minutes of massage... YAY! Could have fallen asleep in that chair and would definitely go back. Loved that I was not rushed out of the chair or made to feel like a number. The atmosphere was friendly, professional and above all relaxing. Quite enjoyed my day out... will definitely look at booking something there again when I visit St. Albert.

I had my facial consult which was neat because they took photos to see problem areas on my skin. I found the consult to not be so helpful. I was recommended things that other spas would refuse to do to my skin because it was too harsh. I'm super careful and knowledgeable about different treatments so this kind of sent off a red flag for me. They really only recommended treatments which they had the machines for which was pretty limited from what I am accustomed to from going to medical spas. I also was actually taken back by the prices as they were alot more than other places I've been to. Hence probably why I never tried them before. Anyways...I ended up being model for a hydra facial Deluxe for $235 and got 50% off my treatment. The tech was actually new and I felt like she didn't give me a proper treatment because I could feel that she had missed some areas and didn't focus on my problematic areas (nose and chin). Luckily I was using a gift card and got a discount for the treatment. But if I had paid full price I would definitely have been disappointed. Overall. They have good options available for treatments and plenty of products which I am yet to try. And maybe I'll come back for one of their specials. But my skin didn't feel or look as glorious as it typically did compared to getting a $235 treatment elsewhere. So I'm not sure I can justify the full price from this experience. It was overall a positive experience but a few things were off for me. I am a spa addict and I have extremely high expectations of going to a spa for treatments so take this with a grain of salt.

I asked for information or pamphlets to take home but the manager refused to give me anything. It felt very scammy and pushy. The manager was also very rude telling me that doesn't have to give me any information about the products if she doesn't want to... I recommend going somewhere else for facials to avoid a sales pitch and awkward conversation.

Frequently after an appointment I would be standing at the front desk to pay or get a requisition depending on what I was there for, and they would be sitting there chatting amongst themselves until one of them decided she "wanted" to help me. On the phone they are snappy and unhelpful and constantly sound annoyed with you and rushed - which they are certainly not because they have enough time to do everything BUT help patients and clients.

So I called the # for the spa, and spoke with the owner. She said she would be there right away. I way another 10 minutes or so, and hear the door unlock from the inside. So I go in. She's rummaging around in the back, and tells me to put slippers on. I look in the bin of slippers, and they look dirty, some of them covered in animal hair. So I said I will just keep my socks on. She didn't like that, but told me to sit. I asked her if we could go over the process before starting anything, and she right away gets upset, and says that I booked for teeth whitening, so what else do I need to know? And I said well I would like to know the steps and the process. She's getting quite agitated at this point, and tells me to put my purse down, and to sit. I tell her that I think I have the right to know what's going to happen before starting. By this point, I'm feeling like this whole thing is a mistake, and so I tell her that I have decided not to go through with the treatment and I will be asking for a refund of my Groupon. She tells me to hold my purse, and just sit. I told her that I was uncomfortable with the whole situation; from her being unprofessional and rude, to the dirty slippers, to her being late (which she denied, and then proceeded to get upset that I was early) I will not be going ahead and I will be cancelling my Groupon, and sharing my experience on the review. She tells me that she will be giving me a review as well. Great. I can't wait to see it. My recommendation - stay away unless you want to trust your teeth to someone who gives people used and dirty slippers to wear, shows up late, and then gets aggressive when you ask basic questions about what is going to be happening to your teeth.
