FUTURE CUSTOMERS BEWARE! This has probably been the BIGGEST waste of money I've ever experienced. The people at this company are incompetent and lazy. I came to them for the renovations of my home and every single job I've assigned to them has been done incorrectly, poorly, and has left me looking for other contractors for the repairs. One of the more egregious offenses has been the recent installation of brand new windows. One of the windows was installed incorrectly and fogs up every morning. Some windows are visibly not level and not flush. Most window trims were either unnecessarily removed or completely left unfinished. The gaps are so great, one can fit their hand between the bottom of the window and the wall of the house. I had to hire an additional contractor to fix the mistakes on the trims. Lastly, they look like windows inside of windows. The trim is at least 2 inches bigger than necessary and as a result they robbed us of usable window space. The door has even more complications. During the consultation, I told them I simply wanted a newer door and to not change the dimensions of the door at all. When it was finally installed, the trim was once again way too thick and I lost almost 4 inches off the door. The door was initially 32" wide and now it's 27" wide. I have a family member who is wheelchair bound and as a result they are unable to enter the door. Their wheelchair does not fit and that specific door was the only accessible entrance to the house. The thought of them not being able to see my home is truly devastating and knowing I have to spend more money to welcome them into my home is ridiculous. When contacted, the company only offers solutions at my expense. They say they can send an installer to fix the window but it will cost me. I've been asking repeatedly for a supervisor to come on site to see the problems and remedy the issue; however it's an endless game of telephone costing me my time and my money. Even my contractor has asked to have someone come out and he continues to be dismissed. This is my first home I have ever renovated and they took advantage of my naivety. They never once advised me on what was "best" or what would be the most aesthetically pleasing. Instead, they just did what they wanted t in order for me to call them back to repair it. I feel deceived and exhausted. The craftsmanship is unappealing, unprofessional, and down right inexcusable. I should be celebrating this milestone in my life instead it has been exhausting and nightmarish at best. read more

I actually called five companies for Milgard windows. I chose Fine Windows for a number of reasons. One was responsiveness. They were very quick to give me an estimate and continued to communicate very well throughout the process. I made several changes and they would come back to me within the day (if not minutes) for an updated cost. Method of communication was great all around -- email, text, phone. Windows came as expected, on time. What actually prompted me to write this review was the Customer Service that followed. I realized few months after the windows were installed that I was missing a small piece of plastic covering at the bottom of the sliding doors. I believe one of our construction guys accidentally misplaced it. I thought I would have to call Milgard and file an official report. Fine Windows looked in their warehouse for me to try to find me a replacement. When it wasn't available, they actually emailed me back to tell me they would replace it for me for free. They HAND DELIVERED it to me on one of their routes out (we live at least 40 miles away). Yes, would highly recommend to friends and family! read more

PERFECT and GORGEOUS three (3) door system We decided to replace the last set of doors in the house after having Milgard put in the rest of the house 8 years ago. Don't know why we didn't do it sooner, nevertheless, quotes were perfect and fast, ordering during CoViD I expected to be months, but it was just weeks and the installers I thought would be here all day, knocked it out in a couple hours and everything is PERFECT! These guys are are the worst kind of dishonest tradespeople that give the construction industry a bad name. Did a whole house window replacement with them. Their installers showed up without so much as a level. My wife, myself and our contractor had to guide them through nearly every window to get it level and straight. Multiple windows were poorly installed and required follow-up. As the house was still under construction, we asked them to come back a few months later to install screens. Over and over they said they would show up, claimed to have left us messages. Finally, one guy shows up fixes one broken lock and then leaves without installing any screens. A month later we are still chasing them. Stay away from these guys. They are bad news. Our house is full of bugs because for a month now they haven't installed screens that are sitting on our property ready to be put in. read more
