Indeed 1 min in I was feeling fine. The wax is a hard wax and no paper - pulls off in one strip. Temperature was perfect. Pain depends on you and your hair. For me: underarms *zero* pain, lower legs SO much pain (during and after!). Totally clean environment. Nice "four step process" for waxing - clean, oil, powder, wax then serum. Hooray: there is an app for booking! Be patient: booking as a new client takes a little while, at first check in they will tell you about products, buying a package takes a long time, when paying sometimes they have to enter manually... This being said the front desk is SUPER "quick" (they are hustling through the steps) and nice! Bonus: you can pay and tip with card, and just "add 18%". No mental math needed! :p Beware: I am pretty sensitive to smells (I wear scented lotion rather than perfume) and something they use has a perfume in it (imho smells like old lady perfume) and I developed a giant headache + nausea the rest of the day.
