A woman came over to our table who ended up being our server to abruptly tell us to hand her the tip that was on the table. Welcome to Jersey I guess! Anyhow, it's a typical NJ diner with an unnecessarily massive menu, extremely large portions, but still relatively fair pricing. Our server was clearly experienced, but she was very curt and not friendly at all. Food was plentiful and mostly enjoyed. The hash browns were burnt, and very different, as the texture under the top crust was like mashed potatoes and they weren't seasoned at all. The eggs needed salt and pepper also. The French toast was good. The French toast with apples was also good, but had too much apple and whipped cream. It was like a dessert. It's a diner so I wasn't expecting Michelin worthy food, but I was so put off by the service, it colored the rest of the experience.
