I am very disappointed with my experience at Fini's Pizzeria. I ordered the veggie specialty pizza b/c it was advertised on their online menu for $13.95. However, I was charged $17,95 plus tax $19.03. When I arrived for pick up, I asked the cashier why the price was higher, I was told there was a $4.00 upcharge for each topping this explanation directly contradicts the restaurants own online menu, which clearly advertise the Veggie Specialty Pizza @ $13.95 without disclosing any additional topping charges. To make matters worse, the pizza itself was TERRIBLE. The crust was extremely dry, the pasta sauce base lacked fresh organic ingredients, and the vegetables tasted like cheap canned vegetables. The quality was so poor that we couldn't finish eating it. There were 6 slices and we threw out 4. This was my first visit to Fini's Pizza, and it will certainly be my last. Between the misleading pricing and the low quality food. I found the experience to both overpriced, poor food quality and disappointing . Based on my experience, I CANNOT RECOOMEND THIS RESTURANT. read more

Came here for takeout. Solid restaurant. Would totally go there again. Good service too ! We got the arancini appetizer which was excellent. Then a Caesar salad and a 12 " pizza - all very good. Prices were reasonable too. They have a lot of other items on the menu so I hope to eat in sometime. read more

Pizza.... A staple for me when I travel. Tried this little local place. Very good pizza. I got a 12" meat lovers with extra cheese. I ordered carry out as my hotel was close. A little store front in a strip mall. Plenty of parking and was able to grab my pizza quickly. The price was a little steep at $22 but isn't everything these days. read more

Decent NY style pizza! I'm always on the hunt for good pizza and there are such slim pickings... I enjoyed my slices here, though. Love that they serve by the slice - a lot of places around here don't. My biggest qualm is that I don't know why they consider basil a "premium" topping though! Fini's is an old school style Pizzeria/Italian restaurant in the heart of Lawrenceville, GA. The owners are Italian New Yorkers, which I guess gives them some street cred with their food. They make a ton of their food in house from the pasta to their desserts. I heard their daughter makes the cheesecake by hand. They sell slices, NY style pies, Sicilian pies, pastas, Italian entrees, and sandwiches. I tried mostly their pasta dishes, and they're good. They give you a big meal and taste fresh and good. It also comes with garlic knots. They give you a whole meal's worth of garlic knots. Their garlic knots are fresh, garlic-y, buttery, and delicious. I tried their Sicilian style pizzas. And the crust was thick, airy, and everything seemed fresh and good. It was a decent pie to me. They have an intimate space. It doesn't look like a place to bring a huge group. But it seems like a favorite among the local Lawrenceville people. It's your typical, friendly, mom-and pop Italian place. Excellent pizza. We ordered the thin crust and we're very pleased with how are pizza was prepared. I did a phone and order this time, since I wasn't sure if they upcharged for online orders. This spot never misses. It's been my go to spot for over a decade now and not once have I had an unpleasant experience. It genuinely is the closest thing you can get to a New York style pizza. Every order comes in a large amount and although it may seem pricey for pizza, it's worth every penny. I cannot rave about this place enough. It's so good you'll even catch yourself eating all the crust. Whatever you order off the menu here, you can't go wrong! Everything is just too delicious all the way down to the basics. The pizza wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. We ordered the Blanco pizza, and the only ingredient I could taste was garlic. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic, but I would have appreciated tasting the other ingredients as well. The music coming from the kitchen was so loud, that you could barely listen to the music played for the customers. I know you read this a lot from people and they always say after having a bad experience I wish they can give zero stars... I also know that I don't want to take anymore time as I wasted so much waiting for good food and paying about 70 something dollars - and everything was just bad! I mean I ordered a 20 inch pizza because they had the real looking ovens and it looked the part... We just moved here and we have been trying each and every place to find to be our very own pizzeria. Being born in New York and owning three pizzerias in my life - One might feel that I am quite the expert when it comes to pizza as I know what it takes to make it correctly and more importantly how to treat new customers. The place is run by very young people - who have to speak on the phone with the manager like the Charlie's Angels dude back in the day... Anyway - if you look at my pictures you'll see I was even too pissed to take anymore because you will see that from that pizza they were just two slices that we tried and we kept the pizza right where it was and didn't take anything home... We also ordered another white pizza which had so much garlic we couldn't taste anything else. We had the the under proofed and under cooked garlic-less knots brought to us first with hard cheese shredded - just like a Caesar salad has at a cheap buffet... The Arancini arrived next with - ice cold cube of buffalo mozzarella - which when is heated as we found out after they remade them - leak all that water inside and makes the freshly fried ball - soggy on the bottom... (wow - epic fail!) The waitress brought bruschetta we didn't order - but was nice (HENCE THE ONE STAR WAS FOR HER) - just her kitchen killed the night. Even the potato croquettes - were straight out nasty and chalky tasting - blech! So after all that - back to the manager charging us for the meatballs my daughter could not eat - and my daughter is like Andrew Zimern - she's 8 and eats anything! So - as you can tell I got compelled to finish my review - although - you might not pay heed - but you will probably be as disappointed as we were - being our first time there - it really blew! Take the time and goto Vinny's NY Pizza place - we goto off Lake Lanier / Friendship and 985 - for the pizza - kills this place. As for the rest of Vinny's - we had some good stuff and then some just ok - stuff - but the pizza is awesome - and the rolls yum! Just to wrap up the story we were coming back from dropping family off to the airport that's why we didn't go to Vinny's as we didn't want to drive past our home to get dinner for the kids on a school night... read more

Loved my pizza from this place. I first heard about it from my NY friends so I figured I better take heed to what I'm hearing. There are many places that say they are "New York" style but don't really live up to what I'm expecting but this lived up to all my expectations. THIS THING IS HUGE I got a large pizza with three toppings and it was huge when I went to pick it up. I would say 30" and I may be wrong but the slices were definitely NY-styled slices. If you have children who love pizza, I would dare say slicing one slice in half would probably feed 2 kids unless they are just die-hard pizza fanatics lol. I got through 2 slices and was done personally. GREAT INGREDIENTS What makes a New York pizza for me is the dough, the sauce, and the size of the slice. Ingredients usually consist of cheese and at most pepperoni for me personally. That said, the basic slice I got was just garlic and pepperoni and it was awesome! I love the fact that 2 slices normally can fill me up. I was there with 2 other friends and one pie was enough for all of us. If you are from NY and are looking for a pizza that reminds you of home, I would say definitely try this place out. We've been ordering Pizza from here for the office lately and my crew love this place! Their white pizza is excellent - we always add shrooms and onions because we have a vegetarian in our midsts. We also always get a Molto Meat and a Supremo. Prices aren't as low as a chain, but then again the pizza isn't cheap tasting! The crust is nice and chewy the way I like it, not cracker crunchingly dry. This is good New York Style pizza. Service is great and they're always reminding you of things you might miss - like pepper flakes and napkins. That's good helpful service. We will be back! read more

Located not far right off the 85 fwy exit old peachtree rd. It's in the plaza across from QT gas station. It's not a big fancy Italian restaurant. But it definitely serve some of the best pizzas and pastas. We ordered the: - 18" supremo pizza - pappardella with sausage pasta Comes with 4 pieces of garlic bread. The pizza is so damn good. I was surprised, the dough is perfect. They put pretty generous amount of toppings, most important the taste is good. Also the pasta cook to perfection ( al dente ). Wide pappardella noodle with a marinara type of sauce and some sausages. Yum! Acidity, saltiness is on point. Garlic breads also taste good. I'll definitely be back for their other menu. Recommended! I do not give 5 stars often, Fini's just did not hit me as a 5 star takeout pizza. But my meal was very very good. We ordered a 1/2 and 1/2 Large pizza - order was correct. Their online ordering was easy to navigate. Their large is LARGE... and no pizza went uneaten. Crust had a sweet undertone that I was not crazy about, ymmv. Sauce and cheese was on point. We also ordered the Tuscan melted cheese app with spinach and artichoke - get the extra bread, worth it. This is FILLING and fairly unique. Star of the night, though, goes to their arancini (fried risotto balls)... I'll go back for those alone. They were among the best I've had, and I order them anytime I see them. Fini's is the local pizza spot for us. We order from here at least once a month and it is one of the more consistent places we have been too with good tasting pizza and my favorite...the stromboli. The stromboli is tasty and cheesy. Good stuff. We have also ordered Meatball Sub and Ravioli. Both good picks. And of course, there is the pizza. A 12 inch pizza is good for one person (at least for the people in this family). So each person usually gets their own since we like to have a variety of toppings. We've come here since before the pandemic. However, during the pandemic, the curbside delivery has been great. We hope to eat in again one day. But we'll be doing takeout in the meantime. read more

YUM!!!! This is the ONLY restaurant in this area that literally makes me jump out of my desk chair for lunch. So yes, there's a disclaimer - my 5 stars rating is relative to all the other lunch places in the area; this would be a 4-star restaurant for me in Midtown. But seriously - Fini's is leaps and bounds better than anywhere else around here- both in food and service. I've been twice now and cannot resist their sicilian slices of pizza. They are ridiculously thick always have fresh, soft dough. It's only $2.75 a slice for lunch; and you only really need one. I always order two though, so I can enjoy the other slice the next day; see my picture! My co-worker always gets the chicken panini and loves it. The bread used for the sandwich is fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised to see fresh baby spring lettuce used on it as well. I've also been told to try the chicken parm sandwich-- next on my list. So maybe my obsession with Fini's is due to the fresh ingredients they use, and I'm totally okay with that. Every dish I've seen come out of the kitchen makes me forget I'm several miles OTP. I can really appreciate that the owners seek quality in their offerings and I'm more than willing to come here often to support that idea. Also- service is great. Each time I've been, the place has been run by younger folks, but they are always so nice, pleasant, and clean cut you practically feel like you've been dropped into Disney World. The only thing about this place is that their ambiance - tables, booths, etc. do not speak for the experience you're about to have. But it's an excellent casual lunch venue. Ordered a carry out for large company. The party size pizzas are so large I did not imagine they will be this size! Said for 8-12 people but these 2 thin pizzas huge. Got one all beef and half black olive and other half mushrooms Also another party sized chicken and spinach but by mistake they made half of it just cheese!! Two other party size sociable thick crust: one mushrooms chicken and spinach and the other beef onions and green peppers. These thick crust pizzas have a doe that is thick but so soft spongelike. Great ratio of toppings to cheese to sauce. I would have given 5 stars if not for their mistake making half of one of the two thin crust just cheese! This order was for 20 people but the 4 pizza party size 2 thin and 2 Sicilian is enough for 40 people. read more

The food here is SPECTACULAR. You walk in, and the waitstaff looks less than excited to have people, and you get to a table without any napkins, get handed a menu that doesn't list the drinks or dessert, in a fairly empty place and you start to worry a little.... but then the food arrives. And Oh. My. God. is it good. It's served fresh and warm, the bread is soft, and the flavors are FANTASTIC. My mom and I didn't think that the cheesecake was very good, especially compared to how it looks, but the Margherita pizza is to die for. So stringy and tasty. Went to this place and felt like I was in Italy again. If you want to have a pizza from Italy without flying to Italy then go to this place. Soooo gooood!!! I had the Margarita pizza and it's made typically like in Rome. Which is without the red sauce. But trust me you don't miss it at all. Florence does with red sauce. The owners are right in there and come to the table to check on you and the atmosphere is just like at a Italian family meal. So welcoming and friendly. Staff is attentive and cell informed.
