It was OK. I'm impressed that the owner is giving young people a chance to learn and succeed but there did not seem to be systems, checks, and quality control in place. Orders were wrong, I was charged wrong - twice in the same transaction, pizzas were burned (staff were trying to salvage burned pies by scraping). Staff were a bit too casual about all that was going wrong and it was not busy at all. I love everything about this concept but there should be better training and oversight. The product is fresh but you should not be scrimping on the ingredients with what you are charging. My hot honey pepperoni had 6 pepperoni slices on it. First things first i will say the environment is very cozy and modern. It was my first time here during my lunch break from work and it was gorgeous inside. It's Pizza Time! Have been here a few times and my most recent visit was with my wife. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the supreme style pizza. They allow you to personalize your own pizza but we both chose the pizza items off the menu. The pizza had high quality cheese, you know the one that stretches far when you take a bite and pull it away, sauces were on point, and the toppings all tasted of high quality. They have one of those nifty coca cola beverage dispensing machines that allow you to choose from a variety of flavors. The atmosphere was casual and easy going. The concept is simple, any pizza is $8 and you can make it a combo for an additional $3.99 (includes a drink and either a salad, gelato, chips or a brownie). Think of a Moe's or Subway for pizza. You pick your dough and then add whatever fresh toppings you want and they cook it in a brick oven. I really liked the variety of options for the sides with the combo. I went for the gelato and it didn't disappoint. The portion of gelato looks small, but it is quite filling after you've eaten your custom pizza. The seating is casual and has a few TVs. The only good thing right now about this place is it's name and location. It use to be a great location and well kept but with the new young staff isn't working. Their leadership isn't enforcing cleanliness and the staff acts as if they do not care. There were flies all beside the fountain machine since the walls were dirty, all the tables aren't cleaned, floors unswept (napkins & dirty under the tables), bathroom dirty, and the 1 of the ice cream option s was melted looking like a loose milkshake. We just so happened to come here on the night when pizzas were $3.14. the line was almost out the door, but the staff were getting us through the line quickly and making pizzas just as quickly. GPS took me to the wrong restaurant, but we were just on the other side of the parking lot. The tables were not as clean as they could have been; again because it was super busy, but nothing a napkin couldn't handle. You watch as it is prepared and placed into the oven right in front of you. My pizza had sundried tomatoes, chicken, and spinach. It was so good!!! They were getting pizzas cooked as quickly as they could and we only waited about ten minutes for our order. We opted to get some gelato also and that was oh so good too. You place your order for gelato when you place your pizza order and they give you a cup. When you are ready for your gelato, you bring the cup back to the counter and pick your flavor. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. They all seemed to enjoy working there; all smiles the entire time we were there. We were even able to place to go orders before we left. My boys loved their pizzas too when I gave them to them. I can't wait to go back and try some different toppings and some more gelato. Parking was ample here; they are located right off 124 in a shopping center, so you won't have an issue finding a place to park. If you go during the day you can do some shopping after you eat.
