I am so disappointed with this shop. I was there 3 months ago for an oil change. Decent customer service and all but my oil change didn't seem to be done at all. I had taken my car to a smog and repair shop to get other things taken care of recently and through their inspection they seen I had little to no oil and a bad oil filter, so they went ahead and did an oil change. I shouldn't have had to do an oil change so soon. I don't drive too far or anything for it to be as bad as it was in 3 months and THERE WAS NO OIL LEAK whatsoever. Fact is they didn't do their job. My engine could have blown. This is so horrible of them. read more

Because I can't give it 0. Been meaning to post this for awhile. Went to get an oil change done because I recently moved to turlock and didn't want to drive back home to use my old mechanic. Well turns out I had to anyways! My car would turn on then would not accelerate and it was due to the oil change. My home town mechanic said it was due to the not changing the oil right and left debris in my filter causing my car to not accelerate. Thumbs down to business like this taking advantage of women who do not know how to change oil. Not honest!!!! read more

Great experience. Went in for an oil change and also wanted brakes checked. Explained to the owner that I was probably due for brakes soon. After checking he told me I had 80% left on my brakes. He explained my car's model brakes actually last longer due to quality. I appreciated his honesty. I hadn't had brakes done in over 5 years so I thought I was due! It's a small shop but the owner is very fast but checks everything. My car is a 2006 and I've never felt more comfortable driving my car after he checked everything. Don't waste your time with "oil change" shops. This place is a hidden gem! You will get better quality service from someone who knows what he's doing and obviously loves working on cars!! read more

$450 to do my timing belt. About a week later my check engine light went on and come to find out, it was my sensor. He didn't adjust the belt a s the sensor right. I called him so he could fix his mistake and he told me he was going to charge me again! I had to have someone else take care of it. I was far from my home when I broke down on the 5 Freeway. I was meeting a bunch of people to go camping for a week in the Sierras. My car was full of camping gear. I had been planning this trip for weeks and I thought it was now over. But I was lucky. One of my friends was driving down from Oregon and could pick me up on the way in about an hour. I got my car towed to Finish Line Auto. I told them I would be gone for a week and returning next Saturday. I told them it might be difficult to communicate by text, phone or email so that they should just fix it if it costs less than $200 and I'll pick it up in a week. I was right, there was absolutely no reception up at 11200 feet. I have T-Mobile after all. What can you expect? All week I wondered whether I would be stranded when I went for my car. A week went by and it was Friday night and I finally got phone reception. I called Joe at Finish Line. My car was fixed. One hour of labor and parts. Something like $90 was the total cost of repair labor and parts. Joe asked if I could come on Monday? He and his wife were to be out of town. I told him that would be a bit of a disaster for me. They worked it out to have his father-in-law meet me at the shop Saturday morning opening it specifically for me. They went out of their way in various ways, treated me fairly and we're honest. What more could I have wanted? After 8 days of camping, I was really delighted to be able to get in my car and go home. Thank you Joe and family. read more

Had recently changed my own breaks only to have them start squealing a week later, had me very concerned and embarrassed by the loud noise. So I had called various break shops to see if they can see my car right away however they were all booked. So I called Finish line and right when I told them the problem they were able to attend me really fast! I was surprised but they told me that anything that has to do with break problems they treat as a priority due to frequent accidents due to break failure. So they had to switch out my pads and discs and all for a very fair price! They even said it would take up to 40- an hour long but he was done with my car in about 30 min! I was very impressed .
