Went on a Friday night, party of 5. Service was not good. It took about 25 minutes for us to get a table. They do not take reservations on the weekends and many people were waiting. Our waiter took drink orders, came back for food orders and another drinks order. A Guinness was missed, the food came, ordered the Guinness again, it did not come. Waiter apologized when the dirty plates were being collected, offered to bring it then!! The noise level is very high, plus there's live music later on. Food was okay, nothing special. Prices were fair.

I'm shocked to see the low reviews. I thought this place was fantastic. The menu prices were very reasonable, the portions were great, and the service was nice too. I got myself a prime rib salad. My husband got the corned beef and cabbage. We both had leftover for the next day. We were a party of 5 (hehe), and we were well taken care of. Place wasn't too loud and it felt like we had plenty of space to spread around. This is definitely a local joint, but I think that's what makes it special. It has that "not yet corporatized" charm with lots of art and decorations on the walls. It reminds me a lot of our local Emerald Island casino here in Vegas, which is also Irish themed.

Decent food, friendly service, great prices. It's a lovely neighborhood bar/restaurant. I've enjoyed it every time I've gone.

Definitely one of the best shepherd's pie I have ever had. Huge pieces of beef and the gravy was delicious. And the service was super-fast.

This time I was in here for the shepherd's pie. From being here before, I'd seen someone else order it and noticed it comes in a mini cast iron; he serving option alone is already promising. The shepherd's pie is absolutely delicious, no notes. The mash on top was broiled with just enough crisp, so smooth and creamy underneath. The ground meat below was cooked hot with smoke, and every bite was hearty and rich, with noticeable touches of herb. I don't like peas, so the shepherd's pie here coming with carrots instead makes it even better for me, and the crispy shallots on top give an occasional crunch. So far I've tried three dishes here, and I've been happy with all of them. These dishes are the kind I'd come back for, but this really solidifies the impression that most, if not all, of the menu would be worth trying. Pair that with the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxing atmosphere, and this is for sure a top pick.

The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus. Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

(They live in San Diego and had a small wedding on west coast). Angie, the owner and chef extraordinaire, took care of every detail for me, as if I was a member of her family. My sister who was born on the bicentennial arrived to a decorated private room that was all red, white and blue - tablecloths, napkins, centerpieces, white string lights, and dangling flags and USA from the ceiling. It was so beautiful that my sister was in awe and had a little tear of happiness. Some of family loved the centerpieces so much that they took some home! The food was absolutely a 12 on a scale of 1-10. Angie helped me on the food and alcohol budget. We planned a fish and chicken taco bar. The mahi mahi was so flaky, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Even non-fish lovers raved about it! (Apparently mahi mahi sandwiches are #1 on the menu). She made homemade queso, homemade baked mac n cheese (for my non-taco eaters), chicken nuggets, fruit platters and more. My family raved about the food and even got to go boxes. As part of the party, I had games and giveaways. Angie donated a couple Breakroom gift cards for the local family to win. And the drinks...we had the bottomless Sunday drinks! The Breakroom has every flavor mimosa, with the favorites being passion fruit, mango and raspberry. My oldest uncle from Sarasota, who is 91, wasn't interested in the bottomless options. He wanted Johnny Walker. The Breakroom had a lot of scotch but not Johnny. But that didn't stop Angie for making sure he was happy. She ran out special to buy a bottle. My Uncle, who is hard to please, told me "best party ever"! It's been a week since the party, and I'm still getting daily compliments from all the family on how much they loved the parTy. Bravo and Thank you, Breakroom. We will be back!
