Update: Matt the service manager fixed all of my original concerns. He had me drop my Jeep back off. He inspected it cleaned it very well and credited back my overage. Supposedly they drove it a lot to try to replicate the transmission issues. I dropped the Jeep due to check engine light on that we thought was due to the transmission or linkage. The transmission issue isn't fixed. And my vehicle is not inspected. I am filing this complaint/review regarding the dishonest and fraudulent conduct of Finnegan Jeep in Rosenberg, Texas. I brought my 2023 Jeep Compass to their service department for a key fob reprogramming. Prior to delivery, a diagnostic was performed and confirmed that the vehicle had no major issues other than the fob. While my vehicle was in their possession, damages occurred that were neither present nor reported before drop-off. Instead of addressing their responsibility, Service Director Dwayne Gosvenor, Service Manager Jessica, Service Advisor Dania Delgado, and Technician Jesse Ponce misrepresented facts and attempted to manipulate the situation by correlating unrelated damages in order to justify totaling my vehicle. Their actions reflect misrepresentation, negligence, and what I believe amounts to fraudulent practices. When I attempted to resolve the issue directly with Finnegan Jeep, both Service Director Dwayne Gosvenor and Service Manager Jessica completely discarded my concerns rather than investigating them in good faith. Service Advisor Dania Delgado failed to provide honest or transparent updates, and Technician Jesse Ponce was directly involved in the handling of my vehicle prior to the discovery of damages. None of these individuals took responsibility or provided a resolution. In addition, the first photo presented to me by the dealership showed what they claimed was a "cracked oil pan" resulting in a slow oil leak that supposedly caused my brand-new vehicle (with less than 15,000 miles) engine to lock up. However, after retrieving my vehicle from Finnegan, my insurance company conducted a second inspection. The photos from their inspection clearly show inconsistencies compared to the dealership's claims. Based on this evidence, it is apparent that my vehicle had been dropped while in Finnegan Jeep's possession, leading directly to the damages. Consumers deserve to know that Finnegan Jeep is not a trustworthy or transparent dealership. Their unethical handling of my case has caused unnecessary stress, financial hardship, and distrust. I strongly urge others to avoid doing business with this dealership, as they have proven they do not stand behind their work or treat customers with integrity. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I went in to lease a Jeep, and the sales representative initially calculated my monthly payment as $316. After two hours, he came back and said it was a mistake and that the payment would be $360. After going through paperwork and financing, and spending over four hours there, they told me to come back the next day. When I returned, they informed me that there had been another miscalculation and that my monthly payment would actually be $600. They wasted two days of my time for no reason. To make matters worse, my credit score dropped by 20 points due to hard inquiries, which were a direct result of their mistake. The only response I received was an apology, with no solution offered. This dealership has been nothing but a headache. I've had the same battery issue over and over, and instead of actually fixing the problem, they just swap it out with another "new" battery that ends up going bad again. To make things worse, they give you problems when it comes to honoring the warranty -- instead of standing behind the most recent replacement, they fall back on the original warranty, which makes absolutely no sense. If you're giving out faulty batteries, why should the customer be penalized? On top of that, good luck trying to get help from management. The manager is always "in a meeting" and never returns phone calls. I've given this place multiple chances, but at this point it's clear they don't value their customers' time or trust. I will say this we bought a brand new 2018 Ram 1500 4x4 and purchased maximum care factory warranty with a 0$ deductible. Our windshield washer pump is not pumping the fluid to the windscreen but does dribble out of the nozzles. Now I am no rocket scientist but common sense would dictate the washer pump is not working as it should. So we go in to see about having it fixed. We get bombarded with a what $250 diagnostic fee if its not covered under warranty. Which they confirmed it was. Now we get a call that we need to bring it in and it will take 2 days to diagnose it? Really 2 days? In my opinion they have a bunch of clowns running the circus at this place. I can assure you My next new vehicle will not be coming from this company ever again. Which we love RAM and was looking at getting a new truck in the coming year once our warranty expires. Great job Finnegan, but you can kiss my ace if I ever set foot in your dealership again. Writing my second review of Finnegan Auto group Rosenberg. I finally was about to get ahold of a General Manager of one of there stores. It was the General manager of the Chevrolet dealership of there's, Ezekiel Torres. Spoke to him Tuesday afternoon and we spoke about all the issues I had been having at there Jeep dealership. He appeared not to be happy how I was treated and how the management has been handling things. He said he was going to speak to Mr. Finnegan Wednesday morning and would get with me after speaking with him. At 5:23 pm on Wednesday I still hadn't heard from him so I sent him a text and 5 minutes later he called me to tell me he didn't speak with Mr. Finnegan because he didn't come in today. So I asked, why haven't you called me just to tell me that, his response was, I'm calling you now then said he was also trying to help me even though it wasn't his store. This dealership has NO Customer service from the top manager on down at all 3 of there stores in Rosenberg. I will never go back into this place again and would just let people know how they treat customers. They don't care about you. I also wanted everyone to know that I did pick up my vehicle on Tuesday afternoon, even though they had not replaced my radiator that they have been saying for 5 weeks was bad and needed replacement. I drove it for about 160 miles between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and it never overheat nor any leaks. After them telling me it was bad. They can't be trusted!! read more

So I dropped it off at 12:30 even though my appointment wasn't until 2 but I said that's fine do what you need to. So I went back home. It was almost 5:00 and I had not received a call about my car, so I called Jessica Boskey with no answer so I left a message. A few minutes later I called and tried to talk to someone in the service department to try and get a status on my car and all she did was transfer me to Jessica's phone again with no answer again. Then I decide to text Jessica. Then Jessica finally calls me and states that they need to do a diagnostic on my car to figure out what the rattle is and that they needed to keep it until Monday. I said WHAT....you never said that you needed to keep my car until Monday and Jessica was not even going to call me, she was just going to keep my car. Then I asked did you do my State Inspection and she said no that they had not done anything to my car because they had to wait until Monday to do diagnostic. I was so angry....the whole reason for taking my car there was for the State Inspection and the rattling was a secondary issue. So I told Jessica to get my car ready and I would be there to pick it up. So I hung up the phone and a few minutes later Jessica calls me back and states the Mechanic did drive my car 9 miles and could not replicate the rattling noise. I said bullshit you are lying, all she did was make something up to try and appease me. I said I bet he drove my car 9 miles probably to get some lunch in Sugar Land because the rattling noise is easy to hear... it doesn't take a 9 mile test drive. As I only have one car I told him I would have to have a loaner. They never would return my when they said they would and after six weeks of waiting I finally got an appointment when I arrive for the appointment. They said the car would now have to be in the shop for two weeks and they did not have a loaner available when I went to they just tried to sell me a new car. My car is four months old. I bought a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee in May 2025. I traded in my BMW X7. The seal should've been better. The vehicle was fine at first and then I had to take it in twice for acceleration issues. After that was fixed, a little over two weeks ago there was cackling sounds when I'd turn left or right​. It was either a CV Joint/Axle issue or something. They do provide UBER, but horrible with the loaners, and communication has to get better. You shouldn't have a car for 24 hrs without updates. They had it for 5. I test drove it with a rep, and they said some screw had to be torqued. I had to bring it in yet again a few days ago, was without a loaner for 2 days, tood it was a STEERING COLUMN ISSUE/NOISE, AND BASICALLY THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. ABSOLUTELY NOT I SAID!! L Next, after days they said they would handle it, reluctantly told me they made adjustments, and should be good to go. Coming from a Customer Service background serving in the Navy for 21 years, we give routine and timely updates within hours and not days as Finnegan did. All of this should not be happening with a new vehicle, the labels aren't comparable to what you had, and upon purchasing the truck I was guaranteed a free tank of gas, but every time I went to the dealership my rep wasn't there. I was told only he could do that. If only one person can do certain transactions that is a training and customer service issue. Initially, they can't duplicate the issues, after days they can​. When I called to speak to the overall manager I was given the runaround, answered questions, and then sent to my service rep​. It's been a week, and I'm still waiting to speak to the manager because I am not pleased, missed budiness meetings, had to reschedule appointments, and I have not even been in the Cherokee a year I feel a Recall needs to be formulated for the CV Joints and Steering Column. And, would you recommend this dealership to your family and friends? My experience has not been good at all, and thst is very, very sad and unsatisfactory. I called the service department to inquire about the cost of replacing one wheel on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was quoted $1,300 for one new factory wheel. I thought this was extreme so I requested to speak to someone else. I was given the same price and was told prices have increased. I took my vehicle to Caliber Collison who gave me their wheel guy who ordered me a brand new wheel for $300. Awful! Stay away from the service department!!!! Dropped my 18 2500 off for service Friday 1/22. Paid 1400 dollars to do the oil, fuel filters, transmission fluid, trans filter, front diff, rear diff, transfer case, cabin air filter and engine air filter. Picked the truck up 1/22 and drove home....made it to Hungerford and low coolant light came on, checked the temp and truck was overheating. Pulled into loves and had to put 3/4 of a gallon of coolant in the truck. Called the service department and the next day they sent a loner and wrecker to the house. I was really appreciative of that. I picked the truck back up 1/23 and went on about my business. Monday 1/25 I'm leaving work and as I'm walking towards my truck I notice the whole rear differential is wet. Oil on my back bumper as well. Take it back to the dealership, they put it on the lift and the service manager removes the rear diff drain plug by hand!!!!!!! Fortunately the diff still had fluid. I watched them drain the fluid and then looked under the truck and there they had applied silicone to the transmission pan looked like a three year old did it. Service director ensured me they are going to go over everything, redo the transmission pan sealant and refill the diff. Loaner I went to leave in had a 1/4 tank of gas.....hoping they make this right and get it fixed. I've always taken good preventative care of my trucks and they've lasted a long time. I've had this same service performed all over and never had any of these issues. Skip the shop, it's amateur hour back there. read more

Excellent service when I bought the car. All downhill after that. I went to pick up the plates and nobody was outside. I went inside and they were all just sitting there. I stood at the front desk for a few minutes before the girl at the desk looked up. She was just playing on her phone. I told her I was there to pick up the plates for the car. She handed me the plates and sticker. I asked if anyone was going to put them on (a bunch of guys were just sitting there not busy at all). She said, "oh you want us to put them on?" I said yes. The front didn't have a license plate holder so the guy said he couldn't put it on. I said "for buying a $35K car, you'd think you'd put a license plate holder on it." He said, "well, you will need to take that up with your salesman." It was an hour and 15 min drive one way to get here and I was extremely unhappy with the service. read more

I went to get an estimate price on what my car is worth, and to see how much I would be upside down in debt IF I decided to get a new car. My car was offered at 14k but it's actually worth 17k, and they tried to sell me a car right from the lot (WHICH I DID NOT COME TO GET A NEW CAR RIGHT AWAY). I was at the place for hours initially, just trying to get pricing of my car. I grew very tired and I overheard a manager there named Omar Mires?
