A great local spot just a quarter mile from home. The drinks are reasonable and Becca the bartender is great!

It was pretty busy (private party, full section at the bar and a large party adjacent to us) but we did not have wait long at all. Kudos to the staff. We ordered Sauvignon Blanc and a simple tequila soda, and my nephew had lemonade. Unfortunately he did not enjoy the pink lemonade he received. We did not order appetizers. Lunch: we all had burgers. I enjoyed my turkey burger, it was not dry and the added avocado was perfection. There was an appropriate of sweet potato fries and a nice char on the bun. The Cajun burger was great grilled flavor, delicious onions and a nice portion. My nephew had a very happy belly with his cheeseburger. I would come back.

We were immediately seated and was surprised that it wasn't busy for a Sunday afternoon. Excited to see that Quick Draw was available and couldn't believe that we could place bets on the races there too. The menu was nice sized and I always like to see different items. So I had the Reuben egg roll, which disappointed me, as there only being singular. It was served with 1000 Island dressing on the side. It wasn't my favorite. I also ordered the shepherds pie potato skins which was disappointing as well, having absolutely zero flavor. My husband ordered the CPI fried chicken sandwich, which was on a delicious roll but the chicken piece was minuscule for the price. We probably won't be returning.

Enjoyed a great Sunday Brunch at The Tap Room in Farmingdale. Our server Jacqueline was very sweet and attentive. We had ordered a cider flight. 3 out of 6 tasted like an IPA and we asked to swap it out. They were very accommodating and swapped it without question. Our guests' Bloody Marys were strong and spicy. We tried the short rib skillet, short rib sliders, American breakfast and breakfast burrito. The short ribs were soft and tender and the garlic Parmesan potatoes were AMAZING. (My mom actually went and spoke to the event manager to make sure we could have them at my shower.) The bacon was crispy and eggs cooked perfectly. Brunch prices were very reasonable considering the portions and quality. Overall, it was a great brunch experience and we can't wait to come back!

First off, I hold Tap Room to a very good standard as I have been to the Huntington and Bayshore locations and have had great experiences however I was not a fan of the Farmingdale location food wise. I went about three weeks ago and had a pretzel and a whiskey burger. The pretzel was delicious but the burger was tasteless. I thought that maybe its an off-day or something. I came back this past week and had the 20 for $20 wing special. My wings were dryer than the Sahara Desert. I chewed them and had to spit them out. I feel bad saying this but im still going to come back. The food is typically good, great deals on drinks, the staff are always friendly, but the food lately was not good. I will definitely be back for a third try.

We ordered some basic food. I was dying for a French onion soup and was happy to see they had one on the menu. Eh. It wasn't great. I've had much, much better. It didn't curb my craving because I couldn't finish it. Lacked flavor in every way imaginable. This was the low part of our visit. Everything else was great. I had the Zingers salad. Naturally, I forgot the sauce I chose, but it was delicious! Paired nicely with the fresh veggies. I'd get it again for sure. The chicken was nice and tender. My hubs had the wings combo and shared fries and mozzarella sticks with our daughter. They liked their meals. You really can't go wrong with wings, fries and sticks. The star of the show was the Boom Boom Shrimp, hence the picture shows how we dove in without even thinking to take a Pic first. Packed with so much flavor, my mouth waters as I type this. Shrimp tossed In a creamy, spicy, tangy sauce over cabbage slaw had us salivating. So, so good. Perhaps we shall visit another time. The shrimp are calling. Our server was fantastic! Now ask me if I remember his name. ‍
