Solid sports bar with a bunch of TVs and good wings. Service sucked though - had to ask our waiter a bunch of times for water and our check. The hot buffalo wings didn't really have a kick to them, but they were good. Nachos were pretty bad.

Supreme Nachos. Not good for take out

Based on delivery. Hard to order and add extra side dipping sauce. Got the French dip so good. But would have like more aju sauce on the side. I don't like sweet potato fries. My daughter ordered and they were amazing. Delicious Definitely my go to French dip sandwich anywhere near me !

Bring back the mussels!!!! A quick stop at Croxley's for wings before heading home from the Harry Potter pop up and my old stomping grounds, Farmingdale. As long as they keep Hoegaarden in house (I believe it's actually on tap), I will always be a fan. Their wings have stayed pretty consistent and trying the medium honey sauce for the first time did not disappoint. My only critique is I wish the wings were slightly bigger. They are super crispy and delicious, but on the small side. I guess I'll just eat more of them. Unknowingly, or outing was on the same day as the Farmingdale St. Patrick's day parade. And even though all spot on Main Street were hopping, we were able to be seated quickly with our wing, fries and beer brought out to us shortly after we were brought to our table. Always love coming back here and it's a great anchor for Main Street. Yay, Croxleys!

Came in to watch the Notre Dame game today. They have tons of TVs and seemed as though they had all the games playing. Awesome place to watch. Bartenders were attentive, but not annoying, I liked that a lot. A simple nod went a long way. Forgot to take pictures of my food, but we got 2 orders of wings. The medium were a solid medium. The "fighting Irish" were described as "a little spicy but are also tossed in a whiskey based sauce" - they were disappointing. Unless you let them sit for awhile, they didn't taste like much. We also ordered the cheese curds, and they were good, but reminded me more of mini mozz sticks/balls. Beer prices were on par, but I was a little taken back by the $17.50 for a double Tito's drink. Meanwhile 2 large beers were only $8.50 each. For someone who can't drink carbonation, it kinda sucks paying such a premium. After all, this isn't NYC. Definitely would come back!

Pros: Pumpkin beer AND a cinnamon sugar rim. They don't do that here in Virginia so it's always a nice treat when we visit Croxley's. Food is good and consistent, the wings were crispy and the zucchini fries were well flavored. I knock a star off because they were drilling inside the restaurant (right next to our table) for 10 minutes and it was hard to even hear the person sitting next to me. And another star because we couldn't find our waitress or any other staff other than bartender for awhile (we later discovered she was being trained on the POS system). We did go at an off time (around 2pm) so perhaps why these things were happening.

Second time here at Croxley's and the wings are excellent. Service was great and no doubt a perfect place to watch sports. Plenty of big screens. I also ordered the Buffalo cauliflower in my attempt to eat healthy. LOL. Nice light coating and fried perfectly. So it was a "Buffalo" heavy dinner. It was just the kind of mood I was in. I also had the Caesar Salad. Very delicious. Sometimes Caesar Salads can be the weak part of a pub's food but not the case here. Nicely dressed, not too creamy. Almost like an Italian dressing Caesar dressing. I enjoyed it. I recommend Croxley's. There are certainly a lot of places you could choose from in Farmingdale and Croxley's is always a solid choice.

Not sure what happened here, but I used to love Croxley's! I been to all locations at least once. They have since closed the Smithtown and NYC locations. I used to frequent the Franklin Square location and their food stayed consistent. I came here last night and was pleased to see that it was poppin'. What disappointed me was that the service was very slow. It affected my appetite...that's how slow it was. I made sure to come hungry since I haven't been here for a few years. To start, we ordered: - 2 guinnesses - 2 jack shots - 1 Pilsner - 1 french onion soup - 1 calamari We got that order at a good time. No complaints there. But we were pretty much done with all that in 20mins. We waited so long for the waitress to come by to see if we wanted anything else...that we weren't so hungry anymore. So that sucked. So we ordered: - 20 medium buffalo wings with ranch and blue cheese - 2 more french onion soups (not pictured) - 2 orders of sweet potato fries (not pictured) I was so happy to get all of it, but ended up only eating 3 SALTY ASS WINGS...i tried to eat more but i just couldn't because I was kinda full already from digesting while waiting to order, and because the wings were very salty. Inedible salty. I was so disappointed. So i tried to have the soup. The soup was good...but because the wings were so salty...it was difficult to eat the soup. The only thing i kept on eating were the fries -- which wasn't as salty. Highly disappointed. I came in hungry, and I left bloated af :(

Absolutely phenomenal. I celebrated my 59th Birthday last night and The manager and all the Staff were absolutely phenomenal. We were taken care of by Sara, who is phenomenal and some help from Jasmine. Thank you so much ladies for a memorable time. OMG. Our servers were so cool. And the managers. Wow. They all made my day. Thank you so much. YAY

Came here to watch the rangers in game two with Tampa bay. Might I just start by saying the energy amongst the crowd was immaculate. It was really nice to see so many people cheering on my favorite hockey team! There is a large selection of beers on tap to choose from, and I'm happy my favorite beer the montauk wave chaser was available for me. After that we ordered some wings and fries to eat while we watched the game. Service was really fast on a very busy night which is a huge score! Wings were crispy, saucy and very delicious. The French fries were also crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. Good service, good beer selection, great wings and we saw a win in game two! What more could you ask for?

Our server Jacqueline was very sweet and attentive. We had ordered a cider flight. 3 out of 6 tasted like an IPA and we asked to swap it out. They were very accommodating and swapped it without question. Our guests' Bloody Marys were strong and spicy. We tried the short rib skillet, short rib sliders, American breakfast and breakfast burrito. The short ribs were soft and tender and the garlic Parmesan potatoes were AMAZING. (My mom actually went and spoke to the event manager to make sure we could have them at my shower.) The bacon was crispy and eggs cooked perfectly. Brunch prices were very reasonable considering the portions and quality. Overall, it was a great brunch experience and we can't wait to come back!

First off, I hold Tap Room to a very good standard as I have been to the Huntington and Bayshore locations and have had great experiences however I was not a fan of the Farmingdale location food wise. I went about three weeks ago and had a pretzel and a whiskey burger. The pretzel was delicious but the burger was tasteless. I thought that maybe its an off-day or something. I came back this past week and had the 20 for $20 wing special. My wings were dryer than the Sahara Desert. I chewed them and had to spit them out. I feel bad saying this but im still going to come back. The food is typically good, great deals on drinks, the staff are always friendly, but the food lately was not good. I will definitely be back for a third try.

That's the kind of place you'll want to linger long after your plate is empty. We had French Onion Soup, and it was everything you want from a classic. Rich, deeply caramelized onion broth with incredible savory flavor, topped with a toasted baguette that soaked up just enough broth while still keeping a little bite. The bubbling layer of melted mozzarella and Swiss stretched with every spoonful. There was a flavor I couldn't place, but had me thinking herbaceous Italian seasonings, which isn't typically the flavor profile of French onion soup, gave it a unique flavor and made every bite more irresistible. The Asian Chicken Salad was anything but ordinary. Crisp romaine and crunchy red cabbage were tossed with tender grilled chicken, crunchy cashews, and fresh scallions. We got the sesame ginger vinaigrette on the side, which struck the perfect balance of nutty, tangy, and slightly sweet. Every forkful had a fresh crunch followed by a burst of bright, savory flavor that kept us coming back for another bite. The Chicken Taco Salad arrived in a crispy tortilla shell that was almost too pretty to break into, but we're glad we did. Juicy marinated chicken, creamy avocado, fresh pico de gallo, sweet corn and black bean salsa, chopped greens, and a generous blend of Mexican cheeses were all tied together with a smoky chipotle-lime vinaigrette. Cool sour cream mellowed the gentle heat, creating the perfect combination of creamy, smoky, zesty, and fresh in every bite.

My brother has always wanted to try this place, but we never had a chance to actually step foot inside the Library Cafe. As the name suggests, the restaurant sits at the site of the old town library, and the bar area has tall shelves and a rolling ladder to pay homage to the name. To maximize the restaurant week menu, three of us tried different appetizers. The ahi tuna taco was the best of the lot- crispy shell and nicely prepared tuna filling. The Thai calamari was a little too overcooked and the sweet sauce was cloying. I didn't get to try too much of the French onion soup because my dad almost inhaled it whole, but it was gooey and comforting. I had the honey-soy glazed salmon with broccolini. The salmon was a little dry, but the glaze and cashew went well with it. Maybe a touch of spice could have improved the dish. The broccolini was nicely textured and not too bitter. My mom's fish and chips were underwhelming, though the not-proper "chips" were well fried and seasoned. It was not served with vinegar either. My brother had the Buddha bowl which he enjoyed and felt was a good health conscious option. I did love that they allowed my dad -- who was not feeling too well-- to order just an entree while the rest of the table had the restaurant week menu. I know some restaurants require all members of the table to order off the prix fixe menu sometimes. He had the burger, which was cooked very precisely to medium-rare. We did have dessert though we were stuffed at this point. The sticky toffee pudding cake was lovely, moist, and so decadent without being overly heavy. I ordered the wild berry cheesecake, and while the clearly house made berry compote was a nice touch, it was just a little underwhelming next to the sticky toffee pudding. Overall, we had a good time at the Library Cafe, and though service was a little slow due to sudden rush of diners, it was a fun little weekday dinner. I did see signs for their happy hour, which I'd love to try-- especially their cocktails named after writers!
