Dinner at 7PM and we were seated promptly on the back deck overlooking the harbor. The farmhouse salad was huge and we ordered one to split. My ahi tuna was perfectly cooked and artfully presented on couscous with kale. My wife had the sablefish and the flavor was rich and delicious. The fish was firm and flaky. We split a flourless chocolate greenish. Pay parking was C$6 for 2 hours in a lot next to the building but up 40 steps to the restaurant. ,. Service was excellent. Our only negative was that the tables on the outside deck were very close together. We had to move one of them to allow me to get into my chair. This is our second time to visit, the last one being in winter. Amazingly, we ordered the same salad and Ahi tuna enter. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g154945-d12722769-r1065553340-Finn_s_Seafood_Chops_Cocktails-Victoria_Victoria_Capital_Regional_District_Van.html#

Nice location on the harbor but not if you want to see it from your outside table, unless you are very tall. Food was good, especially the Sablefish.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch during the week while visiting Victoria. We both got a drink and shared half dozen of oysters. Both were good and highly recommend. We both got the ahi tuna salad which hit the spot for a nice day on the patio. Our waitress was on top of things and ensured we got what we needed. Overall the food and atmosphere was great.

Visited Finn's several years ago so decided to stop in again while shopping in Victoria. We were seated on the outside deck and had a great view of the water. The menu had several choices of a wide range of food. Fish and chips, steak, oysters. They do have some vegetarian and gluten free options as well. They offer a wide selection of wine and have delicious cocktails. It's nice , comfortable atmosphere. The bar is also very nice. Lots of room with plenty of tables. Would be a great meet up location with friends or a great choice for date night. I enjoyed a shrimp curry dish that was beautifully plated and very delicious. We also enjoyed the fish & chips... also yummy. Will be back next time we are in town!

High-quality and fresh seafood with nice patio seating under sun umbrellas. I loved the oyster platter - clean, fresh, and with fresh horseradish and vinegar. Fish and chips were not bad either. Going back to appetizers the prawn tacos were okay (prawns were fresh and each taco came with two). The salmon spread was tasty

We visited Finn's on a sunny summer Friday evening around 5:30 p.m. without a reservation and were seated right away on the patio. It was a warm day, so we chose a table with an umbrella; there were plenty to go around. Service was good, but the food truly stood out. The beef and pork meatballs were delicious, though we wished there had been more than two for our group of four. The Parmesan fries with truffle aioli disappeared quickly, and the oysters were very fresh. I loved my seafood linguini, and my husband couldn't stop raving about his double thick pork chop. Our friends were also happy with their rockfish burger and poke bowl. Drinks were well made and paired nicely with the meal. The food was fantastic, and we'd definitely recommend Finn's to anyone visiting. Dining on the patio with a waterfront view made the experience even better.

Great service, the location is prime: overlooking the water. The cool, not standard music presented a nice ambiance. Now, the food. I went for the basic fish and chips and was not disappointed. Canadians on the shore know how to prepare fish. My fillet was a large piece that covered most of the plate. Honestly I was a bit concerned At first as to whether it would be fully cooked, it was so big! But cooked it was and tasty too. Paired with a plate of fries and slaw it was the usual fare done properly. Great time, thank you Finn's!

Where to start...the staff greeted us warmly and seated us at a lovely patio table. Our server welcomed us and kept tabs on our needs. Our food was delicious: salmon dinner and sablefish dinner....totally yummy! As we were celebrating a birthday, they gifted us a very tasty crème brûlée! What a lovely evening! Highly recommend!!!

Great date night restraunt. The service was amazing as well as the food. Much service was quick. They put a liter of water on the table so you can keep your glass full. I would make a trip to Victoria just for the food.

The food was amazing, I really liked the prawn curry bowel, the read curry sauce was very favorable. My husband loved the pork chop. The service was great okay it just took too long to get serviced. We were there 2 1/2 hours for a party of six. Also where we were sitting was too hot, they need to add more ceiling fans to move air around. Overall, great place with great food

Fancy fancy! Better to get there with reservation. Paid parking right next to it by the water. Honestly for the first time I am speechless and have nothing to say except AMAZING!!! Delicious food! Fantastic service! Gorgeous restaurant! My entire family loved every single thing.

    Tuna tartar

Delicious food, we were so hungry I didn't get a pic of our entrees before they were gone. The tuna appetizer was phenomenal! Some of the best tuna and avocados we've had since Maui. Our server Jace and all of the other staff provided a great evening on the heated patio.

The bun was incredibly fresh, light, and pillowy, while the pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender with the perfect balance of richness and tang from the kimchi. The pickled vegetables added a bright crunch that tasted incredibly fresh. We started with the salmon tartare, and it was phenomenal! Rich, buttery, bursting with flavor, and so good we were literally fighting over the last bite. And the scallop? Order one for each person. Seriously. It's far too delicious to share. It had just the right amount of heat, leaving the perfect lingering warmth that immediately made us want another. Do yourself a favor and give yourself enough time to work your way through the menu, because every dish we tried was outstanding. Each plate was thoughtfully curated, beautifully executed, and cooked to perfection. I like to call it the C³ trifecta: curated, created, and cooked. Without question, this is some of the best food we've had in a very long time. We can't wait to come back (when visiting) and continue eating our way through the rest of the menu.

There was an interesting smell at the entrance when we first walked in, but luckily we were seated in the back room. As recommended, we ordered family style to try a variety of dishes. Endive salad - can't really go wrong with the classic combination of apple walnut and goat cheese, however many larger pieces of endive were quite bitter. tater tots - nice presentation with the cubes. The tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Paired well with the jalapeño ranch, and the lumpfish caviar was a fun addition. Beef tartare- the beef was fresh and flavor was good overall. However the toast was only cut in half, made it hard to eat or cut into. Middle of the toast also got a little too soft from the juice. Fried chicken - solid fried chicken, the meat is tender and well seasoned, crispy on the outside. The semolina cube didn't add much for me, but the 3 hot sauce added a nice balance of heat and acidity. Ling cod - The fish was tender and cooked well. Surprisingly, the cabbage really stood out. Service was a bit slow, we had to flag down our server for refills. Overall we enjoyed our meal, every dish was well prepared, but nothing truly stood out as memorable. We did appreciate it being farm-to-table, and the commitment to source ingredients locally.

We made a reservation ahead of time and they were still quite busy until about 9:45pm. We ordered a variety of dishes family style, which is the right move. Service for our table was honestly a bit slow; we had to flag down someone for a refill multiple times. The interior smelled a bit funny near the entrance but luckily we got sat down into the back room. The interior was a very dark, date night vibe. Endive 3/5. Not the biggest fan of the salad; they also picked some larger leaves of endive which made it bitter. It was a very light dish with the goat cheese, walnut, and apple. Tater tots 4/5. Fried potato hash brown cubes paired with a ranch sauce with lumpfish caviar. Decent dish, we enjoyed it but it could've used some acidity. Beef tartare 3.5/5. Solid tartare but the bread needed to be cut into more bite sized pieces and this style of bread also ended up soaking up a lot of the raw meat juices. Ling cod 4.5/5. The fish was tender and cooked well. The best item on this dish was the cabbage, which was very well seasoned. Fried chicken 4/5. Solid fried chicken paired with semolina cubes. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Not every dish was a hit but the farm to table concept is much appreciated for being in Victoria BC and sourcing meats and produce from nearby or in Abbotsford.

The main of the flat iron with arugala on the top with fries. They plated it and served it with a slug in it. The slug fell from inside the salad onto the plate . A baby slug. But it was living and moving. What followed was poor response and gaslighting of which this restaurant should be ashamed. In order not to disgust the others I stopped a woman that was working the floor to remove the plate. When I pointed to the slug why gave a small chuckle and half smile and stated, "well, it is farm to table." That is gaslighting. Right there that was a poor response. I see signs saying Michelin on this restaurant, but really...if you had served a slug to a someone rating you for a Michelin, you think you would get that rating? Highly doubtful. That should never have been served. Yes the restaurant cooked another meal which took longer. They cooked it just fine too....however their lackluster and empty words of well we do say it's farm to table doesn't replace an apology or an assurance of we will do better.

The waitress we had was friendly and nice, but also came by frequently to ask if we were done looking at the menu, with our food, wanting the bill. It felt very rushed despite there not being many other customers in the area. We were only in the restaurant for about 45 minutes today. The food was mediocre. I had the fried chicken and waffles, which looked good but tasted generic. The fried chicken was a bit dry and just tasted like it was seasoned with salt and pepper and that's about it. The waffle tasted like something anyone could make at home. My friend had the Caesar salad, which was drenched in sauce but otherwise looked alright. Overall, the food is on the pricier side, relative to the portion size being served. Expect to spend at least $30 to be full, not including drinks and dessert.
