It's probably been 4 or 5 visits before I actually sat down to write a review. Just got my haircut today before my graduation tomorrow. Any special event I have coming up, I always go to Finos to get me right. My main barber is Bernin. A good dude, I'm always satisfied with my haircut when I leave his chair. The location is a few minutes from wheaton station, on the 2nd floor of the building. Cool decor, black and gold. They offer you drinks when you walk in. I guess the barberchairs are comfortable. I can't remember but I'll assume since I can't remember, they must be great chairs. Otherwise, I would remember if my behind was in pain. Give them a try. They won't mess your head up. read more

Man oh man! Found this place on Yelp and all I have to say is, Ahí ello sí sabe! As soon as I came in they offered me the options of water, a shot, and my favorite, Stella Artois beer! Had to take a half day at work, a bus and a metro to try this place out and it was worth it. Why was it worth it? They are skilled in all the newest barber techniques and keep you looking fresh. I originally had an appointment with Jeremy, when I got there he was still working with a different client so he asked if I could go with Jeff. Jeremy promised Jeff was going to give me a skilled haircut and he was right. I get low taper fades with long hair on top and I hate side cuts with a passion. Jeff hooked me up with the smoothest fade I have ever had in the DMV. He also added texture to my long hair on top so I don't have a generic combover like so many people have now. I also am not a fan of lineups where your hairline gets pushed back and Jeff respected that. I hate when barbers just do whatever just because most people would ask for it that way. Jeff was also knowledgeable about haircare and gave me tips and advice to make sure I keep my hair looking good even after I leave the barbershop. I also got my face clean shaved and it was the best experience I have ever had. Jeff started off with lathering my face with a menthol oil, then went over my skin with hand massager, then covered my face in a hot towel, then massaged my face again, then when the hairs were super soft he got to shaving. My face was super smooth and I looked about 5 years younger. I also looked and felt less stressed out. Don't go here if you just want a haircut... go here if you want the best damn grooming experience of your life. This barbershop is legit. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted after growing my hair out and Jermey recommended some great options. The appointment was suppose to be 45 minutes but Jermey spent an hour and 15 minutes making sure the cut came out right. I'm used to getting cuts in nyc where you are in the chair for about 30 minutes max. This attention to detail was extremely impressive and the customer service was superb. This has been my go to spot for a haircut since I found the shop 2 years ago. I have visited multiple places in the area including Hugo's and Urban Cuts and this place left me walking away 100% satisfied every visit for a great price. One thing this place also has is customer service. Jeremy, Jeffrey, and Mauricio always make the regulars/newbs feel welcomed with a greeting and seeing if they're a walk-in or appt leaving no one go unnoticed sitting around for hours. I was introduced to Finos Barbershop by Mauricio Torres as he used to cut my hair at another place. Location: little bit tough to find. I would call the shop and have the barber come down the first time. After that, it's very easy to get in and out. Price: Excellent. I have paid $15 up to $90 for a hair cut and their quality, particularly Mauricio, is better than my $90 cut. There is a story behind that expensive haircut...ha. Haircut: I am very particular about my hair. The fade, little scissor on the top, as I do a pump in the front. It's a very clean cut that only takes about 30-45 minutes. Sometimes 45 minutes, but I like to chat it up. All and all, Finos has been a great experience and all the other barbers are very nice when you walk in. Any negative reviews, take with a grain of salt. Most people show up 45 minutes late and expect to be seen and when they can't, they go on to yelp to complain. read more

They are good at long hair too, a lot of the barbers have long hair and an undercut. They do really good fades, it's not cheap but you get what you pay for in quality, there is a big difference from other places I've gone for a ~$20 cut. My only complaint is that one time a customer was hanging out without a mask on after a beard trim and wasn't asked to put it back on. read more
