It's a cute place inside, relatively small, but you're greeted right away with a friendly greeting. They have a solid normal menu and specials on the board (bacon stuffed pancakes? I can't say I wasn't tempted). Service is really solid and the food came out quickly. I decided on the corned beef hash with 3 eggs - it was a whole can of hash! Needless to say that portions are very generous, bordering on huge. The food was delicious, and we'll be back when we're in the area. They have the standards and some surprises at very reasonable prices considering the portion size.

That did not please me, but I checked & saw I did have money, so I decided to stay. The second thing that almost made me leave was that the place smelled like CIGARETTES. It has been illegal to smoke in restaurants for at least a decade, so I don't know why this noxious smell filled the tiny restaurant. Still, I stayed because I was hungry, and I was enjoying the bantering between the staff and a couple regulars. I ordered the spinach & feta omelette with hash browns & rye toast. It was fine, but nothing special or different from any other spinach & feta omelette I've had. But, the servers were courteous, and the service was good.

There is a Coney Special on the sign for $1.88, but the restaurant has a coney called the Coney Special, so be careful with that. The Coney Special on the menu is $4, but it did have a lot of chili on top. The ground beef around the hot dog was very wet and made the bun very soggy. It was ordered without onion. One person in our group ordered the Chicken Gyro Pita. She said it was good and she really liked the cucumber sauce. It did have a lot of lettuce, which she said added to the taste of the pita. She added a side of chili cheese fries, and and said those were good as well. The Club Sandwich is pretty large here. It had large hunks of turkey and ham on it. The bacon was a little chewy and didn't have a ton of flavor. All in all it was a good sandwich. I ordered the fish and chips. The fries were good - they had a nice crisp and tasted fine. The fish was a little soggy and did not taste the best. That is probably my fault for ordering fish after 11PM... Luckily they gave me a big cup of tarter, which helped quite a bit. M1 Grill does charge a fee for using a credit or debit card. I typically have cash on me, but this time I had to use my card. Ugh! I wouldn't hesitate coming here for a late night sit down restaurant - I will just remember to bring cash next time.

We got some hot coffee, stack of pancake with sausage patties and the Mediterranean omelette. The coffee kept coming! The food was good. Nothing fancy. It was just like home cooked food with no exaggerated presentation. Our server was very nice to us! The vibe is decent, feels like a great place to bring family over and just enjoy some good country food. Their menu has quite the spread, you will definitely find something of your liking.
