The red head server refused me service for paying for a homeless person she was very disrespectful I was a regular at pheniox Coney Island but somebody in customer service should not refuse somebody service that tips very well

Everything is visibly dirty. I couldn't even eat the hash browns because they were so oily, it was like eating a bite full of oil with some hash browns added in. The eggs almost looked transparent. I don't know what their cooking policy is, but clearly it's to use as much oil as possible. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Ever. The geno special is disgusting, it's a pita filled with Mayo lettuce and a few pieces of chicken. Only thing that isn't awful here is the chili cheese fries

So many pictures for this place, but I couldn't find any of this goofy cow. Here it is on a moody late night.

I used to like Nicky D's down the street better but now I prefer Phoenix, and I'm really not sure why. In fact, on this date of April 9, 2020 I'm struggling to remember what going out to eat in a restaurant was even like. I think maybe at first the faux-50s styling of Phoenix kind of grated on me, but it wore my resistance down. I do like the goofy cow out front. It's a landmark in an area notably devoid of landmarks. They also have a guy doing the pee-pee dance painted on the men's room door just like the Fun Spot down in Orlando. The little two tops that cut away to the kitchen are my favorite thing about this particular Coney, though. It's the best of both worlds as far as sitting at a booth or the counter. As a veteran late night solo dinner I really like the chillness of this set up. They make a decent burger, the coneys could be crispier on the outside, breakfasts are decent but I've had better and I'd avoid the fish and chips and especially the perch, if it's even in stock. Service is adequate, not too memorable either way. Maybe the styling of this place bugged me cause it's trying too hard to look special and it's just not. It's a decent place to eat though.

My favorite Coney Island. The food is always delicious and the workers are great. Even the cooks ask if you need anything else. The hani (they call it Geno's Special) is the best that I've had. Their chili cheese fries are perfect. And their Greek salad is good too, but I prefer the pink dressing. The only reason for a missing star is because the bathroom is dirty/gross and smelly.

It was a given that we couldn't leave Michigan without eating at least one Coney Dog, and so we found ourselves at Phoenix Coney Island fairly late on a Saturday night. The inside has a very cool old-school diner vibe, and you can talk to (and see) the kitchen staff no matter where you sit. Obviously I ordered the Phoenix Coney Dog (all-beef hot dog is slit, filled with our tangy cheese sauce, grilled with two strips of bacon and garnished with our famous Phoenix chili with beans, raw onions and bold 'n spicy mustard). It's quite a concoction, this thing. As soon as the plate was set down in front of me, I knew it was going to be a knife-and-fork affair. The presentation may not be much - it's a sloppy mess presented on a bright-red plate - but this concoction sure hit the spot. The only problem I had was that the bread got super soggy and ultimately wasn't necessary. As it ridiculous as it sounds, I would, in the future, order this without any bread.

Chili fries are perfect, great place for a gloomy rainy night when you can't sleep! Reasonable priced.

Big sign in front says: "open 24 hours" I was there this Monday morning at 6:50 and they were closed. The food is good though.

By far the best place to eat at 2am. Prices are low and the food is good. Always a hit. Just don't ask for a "Lakeland Glizzy."

Oak Diner - Royal Oak (Campbell Rd) Walking into Oak Diner…read morebrought back so many great memories. I used to live nearby about 25 years ago and remember coming to a diner in this area for breakfast back then. Fast forward to today--this isn't the same place, but wow, it's absolutely amazing. Right away I loved the vibe. The chalkboards with handwritten menu items and daily specials on the walls give the place so much character and charm. It feels welcoming, classic, and cool all at the same time. The customer service was excellent from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the country breakfast, which came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausage--everything was spot on. I'm usually not a big hash browns person, so I really appreciated that they offer an alternative to the shredded style. I went with the cubed breakfast potatoes (not sure what they officially call them), and they were so much better--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Between the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere, this place completely won me over. I already know I'll be back next weekend. Oak Diner has a really, really good vibe, and I'm glad I rediscovered breakfast here. Highly recommend.
