    a half eaten sandwich

I am having a fantastic club sandwich and fries for lunch. This is probably one of the best clubs sandwiches I've had. I know you are thinking how do you mess up a club sandwich? The layering is pretty dang perfect and fresh ingredients. Pickles are outstanding and my fries were crispy and hot. My waitress is a pleasure to have and so attentive. Prices are beyond reasonable. We are repeat customers for sure. My husband loves coming here for breakfast too.

Our server was Bella, she couldn't be sweeter. She was very helpful when we had questions about the menu and accommodated our requests. We started with the bread and butters, herb butter and goat cheese butter, it was good. We were hoping to get the Burrata with peach, but it was sold out (our reservation was at 5:30, btw). We ordered cocktails including the Fireside Old Fashioned, which were good. I got the Pineapple Express, but I asked for tequila instead of Mezcal. It had a nice kick. We also had an espresso martini which was good and not made with anything creamy (in case you care). I got the ribeye French dip with fries (more like wedges and yummy!) The sandwich had Horseradish sauce, arugula, and pickled red onions. I enjoyed it without the au jus even. My boyfriend got 3 carne asada tacos, bigger than the average taco, and they were decent, not bad and I also realize that this is not a Mexican restaurant. He also got French onion soup, which he likes to get often. He said it was bland and not very cheesy. Our friends both ordered flat breads. Pepperoni and hot honey, and Prosciutto and melon, both really liked what they ordered. I wish we had time to go and check out the speakeasy downstairs, next time we come to Pine Knob, we will come extra early and check it out.

The bar is a great spot to hang out, and the overall vibe is really cool. The servers were all very friendly. They seemed pretty new and didn't know the menu inside and out yet, but everyone was pleasant and eager to help. One thing that caught my attention was seeing the cook hanging out near the bar instead of in the kitchen--kind of odd, but not a big deal. The food was excellent. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the short rib pasta was outstanding, and the pork belly appetizer was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the meal. It's a little more expensive than most places around here, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Overall, Fireside Kitchen is a great addition to the area, and we'll definitely be back.

My son went a little crazy with the sides and ordered the amazing mac and cheese, cheese stick with marinara and garlic cheese curds with ranch. We all agreed the pretzel bites were the best. Still super hot, salty, light and fluffy. It's served with a side of cheese that I haven't tried yet. My son assured me it is lovely. He got the chicken burrito and it was about 3 solid breasts worth of chicken in there. It also had rice in it. There wasn't any beans or cheese in it, which was odd to me. He really liked it though. He was able to eat half and is taking home the rest. He used my pretzel cheese with it. I thought it came with tortilla chips, so we asked for some and our server obliged. I had the turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and stuffing. Next time I'll get the gravy on the side. The potatoes really are perfect on their own. They came cold though, so I asked if they could throw it in the microwave for me for a couple of minutes. She did and they came back perfect. I ate everything but the sandwich. I tried the turkey. It was amazing. I just didn't have room after all the pretzels. My son happily took it home. His dad had the bacon cheeseburger with a side of bacon cheese fries. Same for him. He loaded up on fries and couldn't eat his burger. He said it wasn't as good as Applebee's, but everything else was better. The prices were similar. Our poor waitress was running on both sides of the restaurant but she made us feel well taken care of. We weren't lacking for anything. I'm glad this is a new option my son enjoys. And I'm so grateful I don't have to go to Culver's ever again. Thanks Tony's!

I'd heard rave reviews about the BLTs at this place, and they live up to the hype. These towering sandwiches are made with a whole pound of bacon. Thier side order of bacon is also a pound. Thier side of chili cheese fries was a platter. The service is friendly and quick, despite it being incredibly busy. It's crowded and a big loud, but that's understandable. I'd recommend it for giant portions of comfort foods.
