We had a good lunch here (a 3 1/2 star) over the weekend. We were in the area and figured we should eat before some of our other errands. Found this casual place and realized we'd been here more than ten years ago. Turns out they have been in the same location since 2006! We ate inside the restaurant as it was so brutally hot outside. No one else was in the dining room when we were there, so we felt safe. If you're only eating outside, they have a nice sized tent in the parking lot with dining tables. There are fans in the tent, as well. There were a couple occupied tables there. And it's probably even almost a romantic setting in the evening. We had one of their lunch specials -- a half sandwich and either a slice or salad. We both chose the salad with Italian dressing. The salad was large and fresh and above average. They even gave us rolls with the lunch -- we asked for half and half and received two garlic rolls and two regular rolls. For our half sandwiches, you could choose between meatball, chicken, or eggplant -- each done parmigiana style (with cheese). My husband chose the homemade meatball one and I opted for the chicken cutlet. The hot sandwiches were served on crusty Italian bread and were quite filling. I even wound up taking half of my half sandwich home for later. The lunch special also included a soft drink -- all for $8.99! Their regular menu has pizza, calzones, Stromboli along with other hot and cold subs. And of course, all the regular Italian favorites. The menu is quite large and inclusive. All meat, chicken, and seafood entrees come with a side of broccoli Ior penne or spaghetti plus soup or salad. They even have a gluten free menu section. I'm thinking we should come back for dinner sometime to try their other offerings -- especially when we are looking for a casual place to eat out. read more

It was a rainy day and we decided to get takeouts at the last minute. I've heard many great things about Fiorella from other people and wanted to give this local Italian spot a try. The order was called in and it was ready around 20 minutes or so. I was able to find parking in the lot and there was actually a covered tent for people who wanted to dine outside while eating there taking up a couple spaces in the lot. I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing with the tent due to the coronavirus and I can see the parking lot getting busy since the restaurant resides in a small plaza in the Lake Charleston shoppes. When I went in to get the to-go, there was nobody in the dining room and the customers were at the bar. The order was ready and they gave silverware without asking for it. The meatball Italiano had three meatballs with tomato sauce and a scoop of ricotta cheese. I wasn't too impressed with the meatballs since they were a little cold and the ricotta cheese had a bland flavor. The large New York style cheese pizza was enough for our family of four and we even had leftovers. I wouldn't mind going back and trying something different on the next visit. read more

Obviously a neighborhood Italian restaurant with a large menu. Went on a Sunday night and the place was packed,. It seems like every customer knew the staff. Unfortunately we were seated in the bar area where they have a singer. I tried the Linguini Frutta Di Mare, calamari, one jumbo shrimp, clams and mussels in a choice of light marinara, fra diavolo or white wine with garlic and oil sauce. Very good. My wife loves Chicken and Eggplant Parmigiana that comes with a side choice of spaghetti or penne with tomato sauce.. She thought it was good but not as good as our usual Italian restaurant. I could give it six stars I would! It's our go to once a week - pizza is perfection, even the crust gets eaten. My kids like the pizza and they don't like a lot. I was excited to try this restaurant as I have to eat gluten-free and finding an Italian restaurant that caters to people who have to eat this way is very hard. The restaurant is very clean, including the restroom and the service was excellent. The gluten-free menu was even larger than I thought it would be. I was a little disappointed to find out that the only gluten-free pasta they have is penne, not a favorite of mine. I would've been happy to have a choice of that and maybe spaghetti or linguine also. The gluten-free bread was just a slice of any standard gluten-free white bread. I was hoping for something more like an Italian bread or roll. The sad part was that my dish and my husband's dish (he does not have to be eating gluten-free and ordered off the regular menu) was completely tasteless. We had two different types of entrees so there was no common ingredients in them. Especially for the price (pricey for a neighborhood restaurant) we would have liked a meal we enjoyed. I ordered 2 shrimp parmigiana subs. We found both were lacking enough shrimp, cheese and sauce. If we wanted a sub with twice the bread as food, it might have been ok. It was not. We wouldn't mind spending $24 plus tax and credit card fee for one sub if it was warranted. My wife and I returned the next day, spoke to the manager, Nicki who was apologetic that we were not pleased but not for the inadequate meal. She called the owner, Fiorella and she relayed the same response!!! The restaurant was crowded so I guess there was no need to respond properly to a unsatisfied customer. March 11, 2023 Bonnie and Craig Horowitz 8271 Majestic Mountain Drive Boynton Beach Fl. 33473 To Whom it may concern, My husband and I went to Fiorella's Italian restaurant at, 7008 Charleston Shores Blvd, Lake Worth, FL 33467, last night. The following is the story of our experience there. We have been to this place many times in the past few years. We even went during the pandemic and had our meal outside in the parking lot where they set up tables. We always enjoyed going and felt that the staff and atmosphere was excellent. The food was good as well. They don't take reservations for less than 5 so depending on how busy they are you might have to wait. We understood that and had no problem with waiting. Last night we gave our name and were told it would be a 15-20-minute wait. No problem we headed to the bar found a place to sit and have drinks. We were talking to the bartender, and all was good. After a half hour my husband decided to check on our reservation. He went to the hostess stand and gave our name and was told that our table was ready. He headed back to the bar where he settled our bar bill . We then proceeded to our table where we were handed menu's and sat down. We were given water and garlic rolls and ordered baked clams for our appetizer. Things went downhill from there. We were then approached by a woman . Since I have been there many times, I knew this was the manager or proprietor of the establishment for descriptive purposes I will refer to her as a woman. She then proceeded to bellow at us in a very threating and aggressive tone of voice. The following is the exchange. Understand this is in a very crowded restaurant. Woman "Why are you sitting at this table." Husband "we were told to sit here." Woman "Who told you that." Husband "the person who sat us told me that." Woman "show me who it was point her out." Husband "The hostess sat me." Woman - Don't lie to me. The poor hostess who couldn't have been older than 20 years was standing right there during the whole exchange looking mortified. My husband later told me that he was pretty sure she was the one who sat him, but it could have been a number of other people as well. At that point my husband was Getting understandably upset. Husband " if you line up all the staff, I will try to pick the person out who sat us" Husband "are you accusing us of just sitting down without being asked." Woman "Yes I am" Husband 'Ma'am we have been here many times and we are good customers we would never do this." At this point our order of baked clams arrived and we now had the hostess the waiter and the Woman standing by our table. I was extremely embarrassed for my husband and myself at this point. My husband was visibly upset and has the type of medical condition that is affected adversely by stress. Husband " what do you want us to do. Do you want us to get up from our table and leave the establishment"? Woman "Yes please leave." She then pointed to the door at that point and waved This situation could have been handled in a professional and courteous manner. We were treated so disrespectfully. So, as to not acerbate the situation further we got up and left. The hostess and the waiter were completely bewildered at this juncture not to mention the other patrons in the restaurant. It was truly an unbelievable experience, and we were totally innocent of any wrongdoing. We won't be going back to this place which is unfortunate because we always enjoyed ourselves there. Not recommending this place for anyone else. We have been south Florida residents for over 45 years and live in an over 55 community. We are professional people that owned a successful professional practice before retiring. Be sure that we will be disseminating this story far and wide. I've enjoyed the veal parm, chicken Marsala, penne aka vodka, amd much more. Can't really go wrong. Dinners include bread and salad . Nice upscale atmosphere despite being in a less than popular strip mall. I think most of the parking lot in the shopping center is full of cars for this restaurant only to be honest. Let me start by saying to the food here is great!! If you want good food, this is the place to be. If you want good service, then this isn't the place for you. We made tried to make a reservation for outside seating at 7:00, and by phone they told us, nothing available until 7:30, so 7:30 it was. We arrived on time, and they're like sorry you'll have to wait 20-30 minutes until a table becomes available?? So... wait, what?? We were in Covid times, so we wanted outside. They tell us, we have an inside table (not close to anyone) inside. We had 2 hungry kids, so we decided to see it and give it a go. We were seated and 20 minutes passed and no one had come to our table. I got up and went to the counter to ask for service. We went as a family of 6 on a Sunday night around 6pm. They put us in the back room and there was an awesome singer singing oldies. The entire room was singing along and the vibe was so much fun!! We did wait a very long time for our entrees (about 40 min), but once they came, I have to say, the food was great! I had the GF salmon piccata and the sauce was so delicious! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Overall, this experience was better than I expected due to the entertainer and the food which was better than I expected. I LOVED this place. Truly was so good. We order the same thing every time we decide to dine with them. The other day I did take out. We get gluten free penne ala vodka with grilled chicken. They always offer GF garlic bread. I ask if it's celiac safe and they say yes. Welllllllll I went to pick up a takeout order and the girl behind the counter puts a slice of bread in the pizza oven. I asked her if that was for me. She said yes. I told her that the bread is now cross contaminated bc she threw it into the pizza oven without tinfoil or anything. I have been going to this restaurant for vacations and during my time living in Palm Beach County. This restaurant has excellent Italian food. Every single time I come here, I order the Pasta Fagioli soup. It consists of ditalini (cylindrical pasta) and cannellini beans in a savory, tomato broth. It's delicious at Fiorella. I also got the rolls served with fresh garlic. For tonight (October 21st, 2023), I ordered the Shrimp Parmesan. It's large Florida gulf shrimp prepared in the same way as Chicken Parmesan. It was succulent. The marinara sauce served on the breaded shrimp and spaghetti was gourmet. Other times, I had their excellent east-coast style pizza, Calamari Marinara with linguine, and their Philly Cheesesteak with shoestring fries. The service tonight was professional and very quick. I was seated immediately, and the meal took less than 45 minutes (with a large Saturday night crowd). I also think the dining rooms are aesthetically pleasing. I wish I could leave this place a 3.5 star. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. The chicken was very tasty and I think they gave me a good portion. What I did not like was that they actually put red sauce on the pizza. I have ordered buffalo chicken pizza from over a dozen restaurants and I have never seen them actually put red sauce on the pizza. It really threw off the taste to have both red sauce plus buffalo sauce. I *think* if they left the red sauce off the pizza would have been much better. I will definitely try Fiorella's again but I'll ask them to leave the red sauce off or try something else. On a side note, the interior of the restaurant was quite beautiful and everyone seemed friendly, although we did do take-out for this pizza. read more

This is a family owned restaurant and it was a delight to meet the owners, husband works the kitchen, mom (Fiorella) does the running, son behind the bar. Very nice touch, and being true Italians it was great to connect up and speak the language from the old country. I've had dinner here a couple of times and it is solid good food. If you follow my reviews you know I have two measures when rating Italian restaurants in the US: authentic and Italian American. I do this for fairness; I cannot rate an American Italian restaurant with the authentic measure as it would not be fair. Fiorella I would say falls under Italian American - any protein on a bed of linguini will automatically put you in that bucket. So using that measure Fiorella is a great place: good solid recipes, great service and a great bar where they can mix a martini and serve excellent wine. One thing is authentic: pizza Margherita. The restaurant was packed, for me that's a good sign, meaning that the food must be great! We waited around 20 minutes for our table and we weren't disappointed. The service was fast and efficient and the food amazing! I was craving for a veal pizzaiolla but it wasn't on the menu so I asked the owner who was near our table if it was possible for me to have it, she graciously said no problem we'll make it for you with capers and black olives.
