Had a great dinner at Fiori on Valentine's Day. I'm always a bit skeptical about going out for dinner on holidays when you know how crowded and busy restaurants get, but the experience was lovely. We were seated right away, were not rushed, and the wait person took the time to return to our table and show my husband the prosecco we ordered to make sure it was what we wanted. My husband had the 8-oz steak, substituting broccolini for the mashed potatoes and I had the eggplant after a really tasty appetizer, Burrata Pugliese, that included prosciutto. All terrific. I would've given this place 5 stars if our food didn't come out cold. They had bread for the table but didn't bring out the oil and cheese until later which confused me. We had calamari and wings for an appetizer, both were delicious. The portions could've been a bit bigger. We ordered the white fish and that was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. We also also ordered the carbonara. It was lacking in flavor and pancetta and came out lukewarm. The wine was ok and the Christmas cocktail was so good! The gelato was good too. The service was a little slow and only maybe 2 of families in the restaurant so I'm not sure why that was. The ambiance was perfect. Such beautiful decor. Fiori has a great birthday deal, free entree & gelato with the purchase of any drink. Very generous as the prices are a little high. Absolutely beautiful decor here. Cozy booths & lighting. Our server was so nice & attentive. I've been here a few times & have gotten the same dish. Penne pasta with tomato & eggplant sauce. Very tasty. Last time it was a little spicy, this time a little bland. Pinot Grigio was great. Bread served with oil & Parmesan was so good. The knife & fork Ceasar salad was very good. So not our first time in Fiori, but always like to give updates because things can change. Our visit on Monday (Memorial Day!) God Bless, was outstanding. The atmosphere is great, indoor or out, our dinner was great (Scottish Salmon and Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, delicious). First time in Lynwood so only have been here once. Not terrible but I would be hard pressed to recommend the food or even call it average. That said, I only had the meatball (the appetizer has one larger ball) and the caprese. The meatball was uninspiring and not particularly flavorful - a little dry to boot. However, the sauce was slightly better than average m, which made me less disappointed to pay $16 for it. The salad was not particularly good. Tomatoes are out of season so I give a full pass in the that regard. However, the mozzarella was pastier than average and lacked any real richness. I started with a manhattan, which was skimpy on the whiskey but ultimately a 5/10. Theglass of multipulciano I had with my food was pretty decent and got better with each sip. Decor is fine and I would be hard pressed to never eat here again were I in Lynwood, although one of the two male bartenders (credit for not just hiring young women) had negative bass in his voice and talked incessantly to patrons, being certain to say "like" every other word. It was curious language for a grown man but the only point is that I wouldn't sit at the bar next time. read more

I've been here for dinner out with my husband several times. The service is always very good although maybe a bit slow for our get in get out style of dining. Nonetheless we are in and out in an hour. They have a great menu plus you can order from the True BBQ menu as well. It's also a well decorated restaurant so it feels like a nice night out. read more

Went there before a show the other night and we're with another couple. My wife and I shared the salmon. Our friends ordered stuff with Italian flair with pasta and the waitress was terrific. I like to think of myself as an Italian connoisseur since I was raised in an Italian family. I have been to several Italian restaurants and living in Chicago, these are not in short supply. I came here a lot when this was still True BBQ and fell in love with the place. My husband and I were craving it and discovered that it was converted to an Italian restaurant. I finally got to try the food and I have to say I was extremely underwhelmed. The service was great and the ambiance was beautiful, it's just a very limited menu and I was not pleased at all with the quality of my food for the price. If you're looking for good Italian don't come. If you want atmosphere and drinks, then this is your place. read more

I expected more. I went to Fiori for my friends cousin's birthday, she picked out the place so I didn't have a choice in that area but I said I would Make the best of it. The drink I had was good, a Thyme drink with limoncello, but that's where the good of the night ended. I ordered a crab cake, which was just okay, and I ordered the stuffed conchiglioni. I have not had such bland Italian food in my life - in my entire life. Even the salt and pepper that I asked for later at the table did not help it. It could not help it. It had no flavor at all. It wasn't just me who had this issue, everyone at the table seem to not truly enjoy their meal. I cook Italian food so I expect real Italian food that's not Olive garden to taste like Italian food. It's sad to say that Olive garden has more flavor than what I had at Fiori. Not only will I not be back, I am posting this to warn any of you who love food to bypass this and go somewhere else, anywhere else. The combined bill of the meal for my friend and I was $150 and words can't express right now how disappointed I was and paying so much for bland food, especially Italian. read more

The food was pretty good. We sat and ordered from the Fiori menu, but you can sit on either side Fiori/ True eat and order from either menu. The environment was relaxing and well decorated. The staff was friendly, the head chef even came out and made her rounds with tables checking in! We started with the calamari which was good, I love that they give you a big ramekin of marinara, you'll never run out! We enjoyed our food and service at Fiori and the atmosphere was fun too. The opening bread service with olive oil and parm was very good. We had the burrata appetizer and it was excellent. I had the veal piccata with angel hair and it was good but seemed a little flat like it needed more lemon acid punch to it. So I would try something else next time. My dad had the meaty pasta and he said it was very good and he would order it again. So overall we were very satisfied. read more

My wife has celiac so needs to be gluten free. I'm vegetarian. We came to true several times before they opened Fiori. The restraunt has a bar which serves both menu's. The main dining room is a little fancier and only serves Fiori. The patio is nice and serves both. We have been here 4 times since Florida and have enjoyed every time to different degrees. I feel like it has improved every time. The main complaint The first couple times was it is a little too expensive and the portions were ok but small. The management was off a little to. But the last couple visits were really good. Management and service were what you would hope for, prices are fine for this type of meal and the portions have definitely gotten bigger. We also enjoy the drink selection. If you're looking for a good restraunt in this price range, I don't think you'll be disappointed here. Everyone has always liked thier food. We have some picky eaters and my niece who has lived in Siena for about 3 years is an Italian food snob now and even she only had good things to say haha read more

We stopped in for dinner for a friend's birthday last week. We had a great experience! The restaurant is beautiful! I love the how the renovation and exterior turned out. The menu isn't huge, but has something for everyone. We had the burrata, calamari, and I had the pennoni (which was an extra large penne type shape with a braised meat ragu). It was delicious! I also got to try the orecchiette which was excellent! Our service was great too, the chef even stopped by. Oh and they have a wonderful and extensive cocktail menu. They have a great whisker menu Our server Jennifer M really made our experience great. Made a great recommendation for our appetizer. Their crabcake had more crab than any crabcake I've had in a long time. We ordered the catch of the day a pan fried corrina from Spain. The skin was perfectly crisped and the fish was tender and hot. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing! We started out with the calamari appetizer which was prepared lightly breaded and extremely tender. Our wedge salad was dressed perfectly and the lettuce could not be fresher. Our entrees were the branzino and the veal scallopini with mushrooms which were served piping hot and outstanding! First we had drinks at True Bbq where we enjoyed the drinks and talking with the bartenders. When our guests arrived, went next door to Fiori where we were seated promptly. We had the second family style choice and were not disappointed. They brought out each course separately and each was better than the one before! The owner came around often to check on us and was very friendly and helpful explaining the courses. Stopped here for lunch. Had the Penne ala Norma and my lunch mate had the Cannelloni a'la Mode. Both included choice of Carrot/Squash soup or Minestrone, a small side salad, and choice of about 7 gelato flavors. The pastas and carrot/squash soup was fresh and hot, and the salad and gelato was fresh and cold. My friend mentioned that the house made creamy garlic salad dressing was tasty, however it could have been a little thicker, to cling to the lettuce. They also brought a basket of sliced, herbed baguette slices, and it would have been nice to have a small dish of herbed olive oil in which to dip them. The food was all delicious, the service was attentive, and the ambiance with music was lovely. They share the space with True Eats & Drinks. True's barbecue items are included on the same menu. We stopped in on Monday after church at 7:30pm and sat on the Fiore side. The True side was pretty empty but Fiore was very busy for a Monday. We wanted to share some appetizers and started with The Tomatos. Arugula and tomatos drizzled with olive oil and the warm, herb bread were tasty. I hope when heirlooms are in season that they serve them. The crab cakes were fantastic! I am not a fan buttress were solid crab. Mom loved them and she is a Crabcake connisouir. We then shared the pizza which was more of a Flatbread. It had mushrooms, pesto and goat cheese. By then we were pretty full so, yea!, lunch the next day. Our service was excellent. Dominick checked on us frequently and had great menu knowledge. Our Hightower table was small and the bussers were really quick to keep it picked up. The bar was extensive and the wine list small but well thought out. Two (generous) glasses of Malbeck, a soft drink and our food came to $94 before tip. Yes, not inexpensive but a real stand out restaurant. We'll be back. read more

The food here is EXTREMELY overpriced for what you receive. The portions are super small & there is zero seasoning. Every dish I've tried is super bland & doesn't fill me whatsoever. The service is also never outstanding even though there's never more than 3 tables sat at one time. For the price, Fiori is absolutely not worth it.
