We went here for Mother's Day and it was an 8/10. Its really pretty in here. It used to be True now its Fiori. I had an amazing time with my family. My mom, brother and kids. My daughter had chicken tenders and fries, she gave an 8, my mom and son had lamb chops with eggplant and angel hair pasta they gave 8.5. I also had lamb chops with eggplant and mashed potatoes. It's a 7 for me, I needed more seasoning for the lamb. No salad, no butter for the bread or the Parmesan Oil. The eggplant was my first time trying but really good and the mashed potatoes were regular and they had no sour cream. My brother tried the Orechiette which he gave a 3.4. I told him to try a steak, but he said he had one for breakfast and didn't want another one. My brother had Corona, my mom had Moscato and I had Red Sangria. We all enjoyed our adult beverages. I probably wouldn't come back the waitress Maria was not that good.. Her customer service was only ok and it WASNT because it was Mother's Day. We arrived at 2pm and it was not that crowded. Returned on Valentine's Day 2024, was disappointed by the quality of the fixed menu items. The food was cool or lukewarm, not hot--prepared in bulk ahead of time. The duck dish was dry and the glaze it was served with was overly sweet and overpowering. The risotto it sat upon was a solid mass, pasty, and flavorless. The quality control was disappointing. Service was good, but I felt like my date and I were almost excessively being checked on. That made it feel rushed. I understand that it was busy for the occasion and they might have wanted to get another table open but it was borderline annoying. Haven't been back since... It used bacon instead of the traditional pancetta, resulting in a dish that was lackluster and unremarkable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was mediocre and didn't enhance the dining experience. The bread basket was another letdown; the bread was either stale and dry, and it came with a strange green powder rather than the usual butter or oil. Getting a bread basket required requests, oil or butter seemed like a weird request. This restaurant opened within the past weeks. My husband and I stopped by when spending a day in Munster as part of a road trip. We were so impressed by the entire experience. Our waitress Jennifer was incredibly nice and had excellent attention to detail. I started with a gin and tonic and then she told me about a specialty cocktail made with a special gin they had showcasing the unique offerings of the restaurant. All of our food was amazing. We enjoyed filets and tiramisu. The drink were also fantastic. The manager and chef both stopped by to see how things were and they were both so personable. Went to Fiori for the first time tonight for Valentine's Day. We sat in the bar. It was clearly extremely busy at the time, however, we had a great experience. Food was amazing. If I remember correctly, our waitress, Allison, had a big load, but catered to us exceptionally! We enjoyed the specialty valentine Cocktails, which I believe were the winning factor. Limited menu, and way over priced for what food we received. I ordered Chicken Francese and it came out looking like a bare microwaved chicken breast with a hint of mashed potatoes underneath. I am a second generation Italian American and I have never had that dish look like a naked microwaved boneless chicken breast before. My husband's $50 steak was bland and flavorless. Took my wife to @fioriitalian for lunch today and it was SIMPLY AMAZING!!! We had the pleasure of Bar Tender Brian taking care of us because we sat at the bar and dined! He was very instrumental in helping with making our decision on what to try from the apps, to drinks to lunch meal. He recommended the The BFM (Best Freaking Martini) and that joint was S T R O N G ! ! ! It was DEEEFFFINITELY shaken a few times! We started with the Calamari...(forgot to take a pic, but it was really good!!!) and then our meals came...she ordered #ScottishSalmonOreganato and I got the #BonelessBranzinoPuttanesca...oh my goodness!!! Her salmon was crispy, but fresh in color and taste and seasoned to perfection. My fish was flaky, but moist with the skin having a somewhat crispy finish but was able to be cut through with the fork. The chef stated like it is on their site, "You have to have the best part...dessert!" lol...we ordered the Apple Pie Pastry. Enjoyed ourselves to the fullest!!!!! Wife and I had a date night and this place was great. She had the halibut and I had the lamb. It was much better than I anticipated. They even gave my wife flowers when they found out we were on our long overdue date night. They came out to the table with a tray of flowers and put a bouquet together. Very expensive for the food you get. Caesar salad--no flavor,veal saltimbocca--no flavor, veal piccata-minimal flavor. The veal 4 of us had was tuff, with very little sauce all served over a dollop of watery mashed potatoes and small servings for $, I think, $36.00 an entree! The server was uninformed of ingredients of entree and then brought us a paper that had been taped in the serving station that listed ingredients We ended up passing on dessert and filled our still hungry appetites with bread and breadsticks!! We will never go again. We will go across the street to Rosebud and get an excellent meal with well informed servers for aprx the same price. And Rosebud has great appetizers! Chef Mirza does an excellent job! They have a beautiful outdoor patio area and the atmosphere in the bar is very relaxing. Overpriced... The atmosphere was nice. We were seated right away. Our server was very personable. We ordered a cocktail apiece. After they arrived at the table, a few moments later the server came up and said there was a mistake with the drink, that we were given the wrong one. She left the original. She came up again and said the other was a mistake as well. The manager came up and took my drink that was a mistake. It was odd that one was left and the other was taken. When looking at the wine list, it was very over priced and limited. The menu was limited as well. A chicken breast was $29 and pasta slightly less than that. There was nothing special about the taste. It was esthetically pleasing to look at, but that was about it. We shared a tiramisu for dessert and it was good. For 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and a shared dessert, our bill was $122.00. There isn't enough about this restaurant that would make us want to come back to dine here again. read more

After reading the mixed reviews, we were hoping to be impressed and be there on a good day. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty underwhelming. It takes a lot for me to write a review, so I am hoping this helps the establishment. It was empty (one table) at 8pm on a Saturday night, so I pray things turnaround for the good. First, the decor and ambiance is beautiful!! However, the impression we got about our server was that he never worked in a fine dining restaurant before. He really struggled with opening our bottles of wine (admitted that he was bad at it), broke the cork, spilled wine on our plates and table. In addition, he never presented the bottle of wine(s), nor allowed my husband to taste. He did ask my friend when to stop pouring in her glass... He also continued to chime into our conversation multiple times and continued to get interrupted mid-conversation throughout the whole time. The server seemed a bit confused about some of the items on the menu. I personally asked for mushrooms in my pasta which he told me he didn't think they could do that (even though there are mushrooms in multiple dishes). He never followed up, nor did I get mushrooms. He also told us how the couple next to us had to return their lambchops three times due to not being cooked properly. Something we felt that was odd - the staff brought our food out on a cart, which seemed very similar to the cart they would use to clear tables. We saw this happening with other tables, as well. I will say that the drink with the sorbet was great and so were the seasoned tomatoes on our appetizer. The prosciutto appetizer included two pieces of meat. Very disappointing. The veal meal portion was equivalent to about 2 chicken tenders - very small for $30. The pasta was fine. The waiter mentioned brussels sprouts randomly (weren't on the menu) so we tried those. I wouldn't recommend. We had a sampler of desserts, which there was only one that we ate (chocolate cream puff). The others didn't taste right at all and we stopped eating after one bite. The tiramisu was in 2nd place, however I wouldn't recommend ordering it, as it's nothing special. I don't think there has ever been a time when I didn't indulge in dessert. All in all, I pray this establishment can learn from this and hopefully improve. Unfortunately, next time we will spend our $500 elsewhere. Best of luck. read more

The atmosphere was just great!! Ample staff that provides a very impressively attentive table service. The crab cake appetizer was among the best ive had. The lamb was next level. Just succulent!! The linguine and clams (white) was wonderful. While the menu wasn't extensive, it seemed that every order that came to our table (6) was a chef specialty. Just a beautiful food presentation for every selection. Wine and drink selections were also very good. Chef came to our table and asked us all what we would be having. Making suggestions as to his freshest selections, along with some very nice humor, as he made his way around the dinning room speaking to guests. A very nice authentic Italian touch. There were four of us who all came for the first time. Service was excellent. We had calamari appetizer, which tasted good and was prepared tender, but pretty small. I started with a side Caesar salad, lettuce was fresh but frankly it only had a few leaves of lettuce, a few croutons, and just a dribble of dressing. Not much there. Our entrees were Pennoni (excellent but small portion), Linguine (excellent but small portion), Orecchiette (excellent but almost no pasta!), and the Amish Boneless Chicken Breast (kind of bland). We also had the Kennebec truffle fries, which were pretty good but light on the "truffle". The service was excellent, wonderful server. I just don't understand why the portions of pasta needed to be so small, at least 33% too small, when the cost of the pasta itself is so little. For instance, my Orecchiette had plenty of sausage and sauce for twice as much pasta as I got. This is not a place where you will be taking anything home, unless you eat like a bird. Good ambiance, not too noisy so we were able to have nice conversation. We had two desserts, the cream puffs (tiny but tasty) and a lemon thing that was excellent. No alcoholic drinks, just one coffee, two waters, and a diet Pepsi. Expect to pay easily over $50 per person with tip, even if you don't drink. We will definitely go back, and hoping that they reconsider adding a bit more pasta to each dish. One last thing, they need at least 5-10 more items on the menu. I couldn't believe they didn't have any good old fashioned basic spaghetti dishes! And where is the shrimp de jonge! read more

I should have waited several months before going but...the host and managers seem frazzled. I was meeting friends in the bar the 5 people standing at the hostess stand said "hi go right in" motioning to the bar area. I sat at at bar table, and one of the hostesses came running over "is it just you?" No, I am meeting my 3 friends. Next a manager (dark hair, facial hair) stopped by with a negative vibe, is it just you? It's 6:30 on a Saturday night the bar area and restaurant is less than half full. What is the problem? Next the server stopped by asking what we want to drink? The other 3 just arrived, they haven't even looked at the drink/wine menu yet. The server roles her eyes. 15 minutes she came back and we ordered drinks and some appetizers. She then disappeared for another 20 minutes, and arrived with our drinks. We then informed her another friend is coming by, can we just pull up another chair? She very rudely and loudly moved tables and added a bar stool to our table. She would periodically stop by asking if we needed another drink other than that she stayed away. She had a blank look no personality, no smile she was miserable. The drinks were good, priced appropriately. However, the mussels were clearly frozen in an unseasoned attempt at a broth. Not the garlicky broth you want to dip bread in. The appetizers are not meant to be shared. The server had little to no suggestions. So we settled the bill and went elsewhere to eat. Not sure why the server was so hostile?
