A local restaurant that is made to look like a beautiful north woods cabin resort. Has a large outdoor deck. They also sponsor local bands. Their menu consists of everything from soup, sandwiches, to prime steaks. Hamburgers are 1/2 pound. At our visit we had two hamburgers and the walleye sandwich. None were exceptional but they were okay. And like the soft drinks a bit pricey. Our server was their saving grace. She was excellent. Because without her, despite the beautiful atmosphere, unfortunately, the ordinary tasting food and the costs, my review would have been worse. read more

This is really a pretty cool concept. They've not been open long under this ownership so I hope they can work out the kinks a bit more. It's a difficult setup, large building, lots of staff. I had a steak sandwich and it was a bit bland. The steak was a little overcooked and under seasoned. The fries were pretty tasty and the tea was good. My wife had the burger and said it tasted like it had been frozen for a while and also lacked seasoning. The cook on it wasn't bad though for her taste. I do appreciate the added separation (glass) from the bar, but they should close the door when the band starts. Not everyone eating dinner wants to yell over music. But, there's a lot of potential there. I hope them the best. read more

Such a great spot in town. We went for a "soft opening" and it was fabulous. Our service was outstanding and the food... really just delicious. We ordered the Cabin Combo. It comes with wings, mozz sticks, fries and fried zucchini. All well made and delicious. I ordered the Grilled Salmon and my husband got the Seafood Pasta. Everything. Just so yummy. My work bestie and I went back for dinner a couple weeks later and the food just was as good and the service even better. I ordered the Caprese Salad this evening and YUM. I've had nothing but the best experiences here. There is a lot for parking. read more

We came here on a Sunday night and it was not too crowded at all being Labor Day weekend. Our server was extremely friendly and did a wonderful job serving our table. To start we had a blueberry margarita which tasted good and strong and then we also order whiskey neat - which is hard to mess up. We skipped straight to the entrees for dinner and let me tell you were we pleasantly surprised. We had the BBQ chicken flatbread which was nothing to wow about but had good flavor and was cooked great. Lastly, the fan favorite I had was the grilled chicken California sandwich. This chicken was large, juicy and cooked well. I wish the seasoning on it was just season salt as it overpowered the sandwich a bit but honestly it was good and I'm still craving it. Fries are regular fries nothing special. We'll be back to try the burgers next time! read more

I sat at the bar, but since I was on call, I could only have an iced tea. Waitress was very friendly and prompt with refills. I ordered a side Caesar salad, which was very good with gigantic homemade croutons. My meal was the skirt, steak sandwich, and the homemade potato chips. I give the potato chips, a nine out of 10 and the skirt steak sandwich a seven out of 10. The steak sandwich was great, but the bread to steak ratio was offkilter. I took both pieces of steak and put it on 1/2 of the bread and made a great sandwich. read more

Stopped by there last week Sunday night. First time there since they opened and wanted to see how the food was. The interior of the place was beautiful. And sat on high table near the bar. Ordered Fish and Chips and my Wife ordered Skirt steak sandwich. The fish was walleye, and it's was Great tasting above and beyond my expectations. The Skirt Steak sandwich was also great tasting and tender. The service was fast and courteous. Will definitely go again!!! read more

I ordered the mahi-mahi to go. It came with Angel hair pasta on the side. For my side, I had the asparagus. The fish was seasoned well, but for some reason, the angel hair pasta was very, very bland. There were capers in there, but those too were very bland. The place looked very nice and festive. read more

I really like this location. The food is good. It's a little pricey, but it's a really nice place on Fridays and Saturdays. They have live music and I've heard some really good bands. There. Their steaks are delicious most of the sandwiches I've had were really good. I have no complaints about the food whatsoever. Service is always good and the ambience is great. It's a cute little place. They're busy so it's best to make a reservation on the weekend. They also have red cream soda on tap. That's a big plus you don't find that everywhere. read more

This was our first time since re-opening. Had a party of eight and sat in the patio area. It was Fantastic!!! The FOOD was terrific and really big portions. Order the appetizer sample platters Absolutely Amazing. My only suggestion is that trying to make a reservation online was told nothing was available (tried several different times) was about to call someplace else. Decided last minute just to call directly. Which worked out fine. The place was pretty much empty. It was 4pm on a Sunday. But wonder how many other customers they lost. Can't get a White Russian cocktail. They don't have the resources servers seem nice and were very apologetic. Had the flaming cheese, frozen and cold in the middle. The fish and chips ehhhh, all the breading fell off. But the staff was amazingly nice. We will try again and hopefully will upgrade the stars. read more

Our time at 41N Tavern was awesome! Our Waitress was excellent, knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive too! I had the California Chicken Sandwich, my friend the Patty Melt! She had some Wine and I had Strawberry Margaritas - YUM! We were not rushed; got our food and drinks in no time! We sat at a comfy booth! The place looked great!! I had the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was very salty , spaghetti and sauce ok. Bread sticks delicious and soft. Zucchini appetizer was delicious. The dipping sauce was good Bad tea. The waitress brought me a new glass and it too was old and nasty. The waitress made an excuse that it was just made. I just drank my water. No salt and pepper on table finally a catty came with salt pepper, A1, ketchup, mustard and hot sauces and Lea and Perrin whishashire sauce. I like that! Any sauce you might need. Asked for a dessert menu. Carrot cake took a minute to get, but was fantastic!! The place is new so I look forward to another visit to see if there is improvement. read more

Over priced and under delivered. Ordered two medium burgers got two very well done burgers at $40 $4 for a pop that was mostly ice. Staff seemed confused and unclear on duties and responsibilities. Me, wife and kids recently went to 41N. We all shared the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer they we out promptly and were delicious. Me and wife both got the fish and chips they were huge 3 big pieces of fish with tartar sauce and lemon wedge with fries very filling. My son got mushroom burger again very big looked great. Service was fantastic everything was out promptly our waitress was great very attentive. Ambiance was great they had a light on the table that you could control and had a band that wasn't to loud but nice to listen too. read more

We decided to try a new place out for the night. We sat outside and met our waitress and was given waters, at that time we were asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Drink orders were placed. We than waited 17 minutes for our drink order and my wife never received her root beer. We than waited another 15 minutes for her root beer and tried to place an appetizer order and our waitress never returned back. Very disappointed especially since they were not busy. read more

Seven friends went to 41 North for lunch on Tuesday. The restaurant is beautiful with ample parking. Hostess was helpful in arranging seating in an area with the possibility of more friends arriving to join us. Our Server was Bobbi. She was so good. Friendly, helpful, courteous and she knew her stuff. Today they had a special on Margaritas. Regular or Raspberry for $6. Real nice size drinks...no skimping. Some of us had soup with our lunch. Some had the French Onion...omg...so good...plenty cheese baked just right great flavor. Others had the Tomato Bisque...it was good. One had the California Chicken sandwich...juicy chicken with fries. a couple had the cheeseburger. A good size tasty patty with fresh garnish and soft bun. With the sandwiches you have a choice of fries, chips, soup or salad. One of us had the fish and chips...good. Another had the shrimp basket, nice size shrimp. Another had the 41 Tavern pasta..looks and tasted delicious. Generous portions. Last one had the PO'Boy fish sandwich..made with walleye fish..good. Some had dessert...wow...big..cheesecake with fresh berries...Bread pudding and the lava cake...all desserts were fresh and yummy. Can't say enough about our sever Bobbi...she was great.
