This place has really great ambiance, perfect for a date night! The servers were really nice. I was celebrating my birthday with my boyfriend, and they gave us tiramisu on the house. One of the best tiramisu Ive had btw! The food itself is pretty good. The chicken pesto was my favorite out of the three we got (in the pictures). However, i would say that the pork shank was really salty. Actually it had pockets of salty parts while other areas were more bland. The meat was on the drier side too. Came here for a family dinner of 10 people and Fire & the Feast was able to please us all. The Italian menu has a good selection of appetizers, entrees, pastas, drinks, and desserts. I had the summer salad full of plump tomatoes, peaches, and burrata as well as the pasta puttanesca. The pasta was a bit more al dente than I am used to, but the flavors were tasty. I also had the blackberry smash, and loved the sweetness balanced with the bourbon. read more

It is delicious and filling, full of flavors with succulent clams cooked in wine. Husband had the pork dish "Oso Bucco". It is an amazing dish as well. Been here several times and have never done a review. This is one of our favorite spots in Edmonds for dinner. We had family visiting and needed a spot to accommodate a party of 8 which they were able to make happen. It has become very challenging finding places that take reservations for parties larger than 5 so it was nice they are able to make that happen. Everyone's meals were delicious! My family is from NY and my Dad commented that their red sauce in the eggplant dish (see pic) was some of the best he's ever had! This is only rating for their Oyster Festival. Came in to try some food and oysters for the festival. They had literally no condiments for their oysters. Just lemon. When I asked they said they don't typically do oysters. Because it was not their normal hours they also had a limited menu. There was literally nothing on there that sounded good. The service was good but we left after a snack. To the restaurant "Don't do things half way" be all in or just don't do it. I have no idea if they are good otherwise during normal times. read more

Highly recommend! This is one of the few restaurants that actually live up to its hype. The food were delicious! I got the summer risotto and it was one of the best risotto that I've ever had. We came here for a friend's birthday and everyone seemed to really enjoyed their food. The ambiance was great! It was definitely upscale but not too fancy. The staff were amazing and friendly. Our servers were attentive and gave great recommendations for items on the menu. I also brought a small cake, where the host was kind enough to store it in the fridge as we waited to surprise our friend. The chef was such a sweetheart and cut the cake for us after my friend blew out the candle. They even elevated the cake slices with what tasted like strawberry coulis. Came here for brunch. Parking is limited and on the street but I was able to find a good spot even on a Saturday. I love the decor in here. All the plants add a wonderful touch. Service was quick for our group of 5. They also brought all our food out together which was nice. Pricing is what you would expect for a fancier place in Edmonds. I forget what my food was called but it came with handmade sausage (I wasn't a huge fan), potatoes (good) and some lemon pancakes. The pancakes were interesting but kind of flat. Waitress came over and took our drink order (a bottle of wine), and then literally never came back to the take order. We drank a full glass before she came back (we also had to refill our own wine all night). To get her attention since she walked by repeatedly ignoring us (unable to get her to stop by saying "excuse me"), we put our menus on the edge of the table and she grabbed them and started to walk away before we asked her to take our order. Had the caprese appetizer, carbonara pasta, and the spicy sausage pizza. Pizza was OK, carbonara was meh, and the caprese was the highlight. As others have noted, they add a random 3% charge. The place isn't cheap, nor is it good. Would not recommend. read more

I'm so thrilled that they have a plant-based menu at Fire & the Feast -- and they have some of the best vegan pizza I've ever eaten! I tried the artichoke apricot caramelized onion pizza, and the flavors were so fun and inventive. The crust was also perfectly cooked! My husband got the vegan margherita pizza and loved his too. Since we were there during happy hour, I also tried their house cocktail and thought it was very strong but still well-balanced. Their outdoor seating area is also a pretty cute spot with several picnic tables, and it was spacious enough for us to be able to park our newborn's stroller next to our table without feeling cramped. Their menu might change since it's seasonal, but their Roman Meatball is something that you must try! However, it took more than 8 minutes for us to get greeted by our server and we had to wait more than 10 minutes to recieve our entrées after we finished the appetizer. Wanted to try dinner in Edmonds and from the reviews, this seemed like the place. We took the ferry across from Kingston in the morning and had a great breakfast and coffee cruising around town. Had early reservations for around 5 but came in a bit early for happy hour. A glass of red wine and corn risotto was the perfect start to an amazing meal. The food and service we had was the best I have experienced in the last 10 years! Still talking about it the next day, so good! We will be going back on a regular basis from now on! All in all we got 2 duck carbonara and one chicken pesto pasta. All three were under cooked and hard. I sent mine back and asked for it to be cooked longer. The waitress was super nice she was in training, she took it back and then another older brunette lady came out and told me to pick something else because that's how the duck carbonara is supposed to be made because of the noodles. I asked why my friends pesto pasta with different noodles was also hard then and she had nothing to say. I want to add it was super uncomfortable, the brunette lady came out like she was upset, saying to just pick something else because the carbonara noodles needed to be cooked like that, I've had lots of pasta before cooked to perfection but these were hard. They were quite busy and even got a heads up by our server that their kitchen was backed up so we may have to wait a little longer for our food. However, we thought our food came out quite quickly but the only comment we had was that 2 of our 3 dishes were a bit cold. Highly recommend the mussels because it comes with focaccia bread (so it's like two appetizers in one) and we swiped up every last bit of sauce with the bread. We also enjoyed the heirloom tomato & avocado salad, prosciutto pizza and the PNW Cacio E Pepe which has tobiko on it *chefs kiss.* It looks like they swap out menu items so definitely check it out if you see something that sounds intriguing - it might not be there when you go next! Food: really good Service: hit or miss. I would say 80% of the time it's great and 20% of the time it's slow. 100% of the time the people are nice. The only issue I had here is where I ordered a to go order and they basically forgot some things. The other cooked food got cold which was not ideal. If I only went to this place once time and this happened, I'd probably give this place 1 star. Fortunately, I had a gut feeling this was a one off experience where some folks screwed up. We have not had issues with service time since. Their food is consistently very good. Give it a try. Before this was the current restaurant it was Epilo, which I also recommend, but I like fire and the feast better now by 1/4 of a star. read more

Took a trip up to Edmonds from Seattle this weekend to enjoy the weather. When driving into town we saw this cute restaurant and decided we needed to stop. It was happy hour so the menu was smaller, but it still had lots of good options! We sat on the patio which was nicely separated. There was plexi-glass up between all of the tables and nice lights across the top to make it feel comfortable. There was also a heater on every table which made it very warm! We each ordered a drink and shared the Salsiccia pizza with a gluten free crust. For my fellow celiacs, it seemed like they were using the Against The Grain crust. I personally like that crust so I was pleased. The pizza itself was amazing, lots of flavor and the size was perfect to share for two people. We haven't been so pleasantly surprised by creative cooking in a restaurant in some time! Take a tip or two from us: the Charred Brussels Sprouts were amazing and the Scallop Risotto was lemony and succulent. The scallops were cooked ok, but the risotto was overcooked and had a watery consistency and not much flavor. It did not taste anywhere near as good as it sounded on the menu. For $39, I expected better. I ate the scallops and picked at the mushrooms but couldn't eat the rice. My husband agreed. We thought the olives (appetizer) sounded more exciting than they were. They were ok but a bit bland. The Brussels sprouts (appetizer) were tasty but were very oily. I might order these again if we visit with a larger party to where theres only a bite per person but they were just too rich/oily to have for two. Overall, it was a nice experience. We appreciated the gf df options and there were some highlights we'll come back for and a few items we'll avoid. Tried for the first time last night. We ordered happy hour focaccia, Caesar salad and meatballs with polenta. Focaccia was a little on the sad side, I pictured a much more buttery and flavorful focaccia. Even the presentation of it was sad. Probably wouldn't get it again. The salad was really yummy especially if you like more of an anchovy dressing. And we both enjoyed the meatballs. Star of the show was definitely the pizza. We ordered margherita to keep things light. The other choices had a lot of toppings. The sauce was so yummy, perfectly cooked dough. I'll definitely come back for pizza! We then ordered two pastas. The PNW cacio e Pepe and the parpadelle. Had to send the cacio back it was just way too salty for my taste and the smoked salmon didn't look appetizing shredded on top of the pasta. The bites I had of pasta were really yummy though, my tongue just wasn't able to handle the flavor. Had to take gulps of water after each bite. My husbands parpadelle was very tasty though! A little spicy. Tiramisu was our dessert choice, unfortunately found a piece of paper in my mouth from the bite I took. It was a different take on tiramisu, more of a boudino pudding style. Literally, the worst clam linguine I have ever tasted. Pasta was over cooked, layed in a bath of parsley water- No garlic, no chili, no flavor. I took one bite and tried to hide how bad it was. The waiter asked if was good and I said "no" he then made me explain why it was so bad. It was literally green. Tasted like they put parsley in the pasta water and forgot about it.
