After years of strong winds, the big storm back in June was the final straw for my roof. Lost too many shingles and had too many seals broken to have another "patching" done on my roof. Based on positive reviews posted by members of various local Facebook groups, I contacted Roof Doctor. Response from Chris Olsen of Roof Doctor was immediate. He came out to conduct an inspection of my roof within a day of me calling, I think he might have even come out the same day I called. Chris fully explained everything he found - and in terms a non-roofing person could understand. I provided Chris with the pertinent information about my insurance company. Chris handled EVERYTHING with my insurance company, keeping me informed throughout the entire process. During the few days Chris was out of town, he made sure there was another Roof Doctor representative available in case I had any questions. As one might expect, the insurance company needed more information from what was originally submitted and there were a few hoops that needed to be jumped through primarily due to Chris recommending a total roof replacement. I can't blame the insurance company as part of their job is to ensure repair costs are legitimate so they can keep their payout costs as low as possible. Keeping payout costs down helps the overall cost of insurance for all of their customers. Ever since moving my insurance over to AARP Hartford, I have been extremely pleased with the cost and service Hartford has provided. I started with better coverage for lower pricing on both my homeowner's and vehicle insurance than what I had with my previous insurance company. The damage to my roof needed to be repaired but the roof was still capable of protecting the house until all the paperwork could be completed and repairs made. None of these delays put my house in danger of having the roof leak. During his inspection, Chris specifically looked for any area that might leak and assured me that if we had another major windstorm before everything was approved, he would come out to inspect the roof and would secure a tarp over any problem areas. From experience, he knew that by recommending a complete roof replacement, it might take a bit longer to get the final insurance approval. Once my insurance gave their OK to proceed with the total roof replacement, Chris scheduled a crew to come out. The crew was prompt and friendly. They worked hard and completed a thorough clean up at the end of each day's work. Roof Doctor's goal was to ensure a quality repair for the lowest costs possible. Their final cost figures even came in lower than originally projected. If you need your roof repaired/replaced, you can't do any better than going with Roof Doctor.

My AC decided to die on me last week and these guys were amazing!…read more First of all I live in a gated community of townhomes and my unit is in the middle so access is not an easy task. Upon arrival these guys were friendly and very informative. They assessed the situation and let me know the fan in the unit had been completely destroyed by something getting into it. Both of my outdoor AC unit and the indoor funace/ac were 20 yrs old and not functioning well to begin with, then it started making a rattling sound and was super loud then it just stopped completely, which is the reason I called. Chase was very helpful showing me my different options and explaining the difference between them all, he offered the option of financing and helped me through the payment process and explained clearly when I asked about thier cancelation policy which was as simple as if you cancel then u are refunded your deposite in full no questions asked. The delivery of the unit was complicated as I am the middle unit in my complex so They brought in a crane and Regie helped the incredible operator direct it onto my back deck with no damage to my gutters and precision of placement, he put the new unit in place and had the old unit removed again by crane which is quite a task but such an amazing option to have especially in my situation. He also removed my old furnace/ac in the basement and brought all new equipment down for the following morning. He was a one man show on this job aside from the crane operator, I'm assuming because of the 4th of July the day before, and he crushed it!! The next day Todd and his partner showed up early and orked diligently and effectively! They we're able to come up with solutions with the thermostat and wiring that saved me some dry wall repair, which I greatly appreciate!! Overall my experience was very positive and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, and trustworthy team of employees and buisness!

Several weeks ago I made an appointment for a general routine furnace and a/c inspection and service. They booked me for 6/18...I asked for an early morning appointment and was advised that the closest they could come would be an 0800 to 1100 window. Had not heard anything from them until 6/18 when I called them at 0900 to see if I was scheduled...they confirmed. At 0955 they texted me to advise the tech was running late but would be there shortly. I texted back and asked how many calls the tech had made that morning. I received no response. No one ever showed up. At 1100 I called to reschedule as I couldn't wait around any longer for them. They suggested that I not reschedule as they were several weeks out and couldn't get to me until il mid-August. I couldn't believe that...a long time customer who purchased a full system from them 9 years ago...who has had them service my system every year for both heating and cooling...and this is how they think they should solve a problem that they created. They have absolutely zero problem wasting customer time, and make absolutely no effort in trying to remedy a situation in favor of the customer. I told them that I was taking my business elsewhere.
