Do not recommend, very dirty place, roaches roaming around everywhere, tables, by the buffet area where the food is. Explained to the staff and one of them wanted to argue with me that the dead roach that was on the floor underneath our table was a fly it was not a fly. I wish I would've taken pictures but I didn't, I have never been in a situation like this. read more

Hubby and I stopped in for an early dinner buffet. Everything was very good and at an affordable price. Lunch buffet is only 12.99, dinner 16.99. Would have given 5 stars but some of the items were Luke warm borderline cold. Great selection and super clean. We will definitely be back. read more

This place has become our family's favorite buffet we go at least once a month. Food is usually nice and hot with good options

I went there for the first time last night. I would never go again. Most food on my plate was barely warm. Someone told me there was Salmon but by 5:30 when I was looking for it, I was told it was all gone. I hate to ge a food snob but im Canadian and one of our options is The Mandarin. The food is always piled high. Great selection! The salad abd dessert bar are extensive. I wish I had taken pictures but I only do that when tge food is delicious. read more

Checked all the boxes clean, friendly staff and welcome greetings. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and helpful. The waitress helped me through my first round to make sure I was doing it all properly. Food was fresh, buffet was well stocked and replenished several times while I was there. The hotpot soup base I had pork was outstandingly flavorful and an amazing compliment to the hotpot proteins and veggies I chose. They had a huge assortment of noodles for the hot pots that all looked awesome. Make sure to ask for the steak and crab they are not presented on the buffet. They do tell you that. I had the steak tender and awesome. So many sauces my favorite was the house sauce was just the right amount of flavor and spice. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive she must have refilled my water glass 6 or more times..great job Patty!!!!(my server) there were others as well but she was my primary. I would highly recommend this place don't judge it by the outside strip mall it's totally different inside... Looking forward to my next trip to Lakeland to return. Nicely done !!! read more

Happily surprised! I have been to many hot pots in central florida (Orlando and Tampa) and most of them are *not great* to be honest. Here, the food seemed pretty fresh, seafood didn't smell fishy, and there was a large assortment of veg, noodles, and proteins. I hope that they are able to maintain the quality over time as that is usually when things go downhill. Staff was friendly and VERY attentive (if you need help cooking the food they will help you...and if you don't need help, they will help you lol but obviously that is better than not) Came with a large group 5 adults and 3 kids under 8, and the staff was very helpful and understanding, making sure that everyone was taken care of. read more

Tried this tonight and excellent! Recommend reservations especially on the weekends. Hot pot/bbq $30 or both for $35. Lots of good selections and everything was fresh. Lot of meat, veggie, noodle choices and some cooked appetizers as well. Service was good and definitely worth going. read more

I tried Korean BBQ in Orlando two years ago and was not impressed. Food was bland. And you were stuck with whatever you ordered. Being able to try a variety of things from a buffet is a game changer though! Your table has to choose between bbq or hot pot. We did both for an extra $5 a person. It was worth it. The pork soup base was delicious! As for the bbq, the bulgogi chicken was our favorite. My wife and I really enjoyed this place and everyone was super friendly and attentive. read more

Stay far away from this place. I should have after reading the negative reviews. The chicken pieces in dishes were overdone and barely warm. The green beans were cold. I complained to one of the waitresses. She proceeded to walk with me to the buffet area. She asked me if I took from the bottom on one of the chicken dishes. I said no and she gave me one from there which was hot but still overcooked and hard. I told her her the beans were cold, she lifted up the pan to show me the flames running along the line. She also took the bottom pan it was sitting in and placed the pan itself back down. I should have figured it out by the time we were there that they probably weren't from lunch(we were there at 5:15) I think they put the dinner out at 3:30 so I shouldn't have suggested they were from lunch. But I am guessing they were there for a long time because there weren't many people there. I got my answer a short time later when I was getting a couple donuts(the only thing good). One of the help put out a fresh dish and threw the pieces of chicken from the old container on top of the fresh food. They take their not wanting to waste food there to extreme levels. They expect their customers to eat every bite or they charge $13.99 Lb. for all uneaten food. So I did eat their slop and paid $16.99 X 2 plus tax for the "privilege" That being the case everything needs to be very fresh and hot at all times. read more

You have to cook your own Meal. There is a very small selection of already cooked food, mostly deep dried. They offer small tubs of ice cream in a freezer for dessert, but the freezer is warm and the ice cream is soupy. Not my kind of place. read more

I heard about this restaurant from Facebook friends. I decided to go here on a night where I was craving Asian Cuisine, Im glad I did. This is the only Hot Pot or KBBQ place within about 40 miles and I'm so glad they opened this location. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well stocked with fresh food. The tables and cooking area were large enough for big parties or just two people like I had. The price for dining is a great value because you can eat as much as you want. Also the food was so fresh! I got some snow crab legs that were included in the price of my dinner, along with steak. As I was cracking open the crab legs I was shocked with how fresh they were, no fishy or crab smell and they tasted very fresh. I will be back again I really enjoyed this place and want to bring friends and family here soon. Thank you! read more

Been in & out of LAKELAND for the past 10 years. Reside in Las Vegas and have waited for a hot pot & kbbq place to open up in lakeland for years. Not a fan of buffet bc in vegas when it's all you can eat. You order what you want & they bring it to your table. But was just happy to see an ayce place open up in LL. When I'm Here, I'm on vacation and not driving. But when I walked in with my shopping bags, they treated me & looked @ me like I was a homeless person! I told the server. Then they tried to take care of me but still rushed me @ the end. I know they close @ 10:30 although online it said they open for late night which is why we came here in the first place! and it was fine they gave me a Togo for my soup but it was uncomfortable & awkward. I planned on sending people there family & co-workers from Lakeland Regional Hospital where my bf works and gives people & babies their respiratory care! Yes he saves lives! Hooks up babies & probably your friends & family to breathing machines so that they can live! Online it says they open until 11:30 weekdays & 12:30am/1:30am on weekends! It's not even 11:30 yet atm.. But the way they treated me here I probably won't be back and will tell everyone else not to come here! I wasn't going to put them on blast and give them a bad review until how they treated me in the end! And I'm waiting on an Uber so I have time lol read more

Food was great but the grill was super slow. Got full from the hotpot more than the grill because it took so long for the meat to cook. I was most excited about the grill but I had like 2 servings of meat only by the end of the night because it took so long to cook. Ingredients were great and vast though. Have never been to Fire Hot Pot & BBQ before and was a little overwhelming to know what to do. Staff explained but we were still a little confused. However, we did it correctly! Selection of food was great, taste (we chose BBQ for lunch) was fantastic. A little expensive for lunch ($70 for 2, included BBQ and iced teas) but we will definitely be back for dinner. This place is great! There's a huge variety of fresh vegetables, meats, and seafood. The best bbq meat is hidden behind the bamboo plant.
