Always a pleasure to come here. If I had a review here, I would update it! I've been a repeat customer since 2017. Over the years, the service has been somewhat less consistent. But their recommendations and options have been more or less the same over the years. The location is well established and has always been a beautiful lounge for hanging out or using the computers. I believe it's a perfect spot for non coffee shop goers. But overall the reason I come back, is always due to the hookahs they provide being top notch. But I have always gotten a glass hookah. The last few times ive one they're either broken or got specs at the bottom of em. I still think i'll come back. But I'm definitely suspicious about my last 4 trips coming here. I have never had such a bad hookah and such a disappointing baklava. On top of that, the service was cold and completely indifferent. It felt like they were doing us a favor, as if everything was being given for free. A little friendliness and respect towards customers is the bare minimum.I will never come here again and I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

This review is long overdue. Been coming here a few years now and normally come during the day time as the service is always top notch. The staff member who makes our hookah makes it on point every time and has made great recommendations on flavors we probably would've never tried. Super friendly and amazing ambiance, love the music playlist and that they also have nba games on from time to time. Great place to come relax and chill with friends, and the parking is also convenient. It's our favorite lounge out of all in the area. 10/10 read more

It's a lot nicer than last I remember! But the prices fluctuates A LOT based on the hand full of times I've been here. Sometimes i get $15 , sometimes I get $20, other times I get $25 and last night I got charged $22. They have wifi and some what comfy seats. Loud playing music like most hookah lounges. Slow and greedy service with the coals, but at least you get your own tongs. not too bad for the east bay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here either. Thanks! read more

Me and my friends first time. It was pretty cheap, $35 for the whole group of 4. Maybe bc it was our first time the workers didn't help us much and took a fat rip in the beginning for an "example". But didn't really show us how to move around the coal and such. Idk it was awkward and inside had noooo type of music. So we got bored quick and left. Wouldn't recommend for first timers. I really like this place. I'm don't live in the East bay but was visiting a friend in Oakland. We came across this spot online and figured the drive was worth it. (Hookah lounges in Oakland did not look good online) They have easy parking in the back. We arrived, ordered at the counter. The vibe was great. Although it was full, music was at a good volume and I could still hear my fiend with no issues. We ordered a glass hookah. It was so smooth and the tobacco flavor was delicious. A friend and I were looking for a hookah lounge one evening and after hearing good things about Fire N Ice, we decided to check it out! We arrived around 7:30pm on a Wednesday. Lucky for us because Happy Hour is all day on Wednesdays, so the Regular Hookah is ~$12! It wasn't too crowded yet so we ordered hookah and grabbed an area to sit in. We wanted something a little bit unique so we went with a mix of Blueberry Muffin and Mint flavors. The hookah hit pretty well and lasted a while. The worker did come by to rotate the coals which I appreciate. It is a bit loud in here (like most hookah places), so maybe not the best place for talking or catching up, but if you're looking for a relaxing spot with good music to smoke hookah that'll last you around 2 hours, Fire N Ice does the job! read more

This has probably been my favorite hookah lounge in the Bay Area. It's super relaxing & chill. I love that the space is pretty open & spacious so it doesn't feel stuffy! The hookah always hits, I think it was only one time when the bowl was harsh, but they were good about fixing it & helping out. They also provide a brand new hose which is great! They have happy hour from open to 4pm so those hours are worth coming. They play Warriors or 49ers games on the tv's when they're playing so it's perfect for those who enjoy watching a game with a hookah! They have drinks & candy for purchase as well! TBH, I only come here during happy hour which is on wens & 2-6pm or something like that. It's close to home and convenient location for me. I don't think I'd come here during regular hours to pay for the glass hookah. & yes people GLASS hookah is the way to go! The regular one is cool but the glass hits better. They could be a bit better on service tho, not going to lie..... every single time I come here I literally have to flag down someone to get them to recoal our hookah or to even move the coal around. They are friendly but they will not come check on u, unless u ask them to. That's prolly why you'll never see me there regular hours. Nice hookah spot with many variety of flavors to choose from. We have been coming to this place for a long time, probably every other week for two years now, and through the pandemic when they were open. Initially we really liked this place. It's a clean establishment with a lot of room for large groups, and lots of flavors to try. The problem started with the declining service, with the worst of it being this weekend. We came as usual with a group of about 5-6 people, plus an out of town guest we wear eager to show 'our spot.' When we went up to the host he told us there would be a 35 minute wait, so we waited outside for our table. When we went back inside at the end of our wait, the host then told us, it would be another 40 minutes on top of how long we had already waited. At this point, we should have raised a stink about the extra time, but we didn't, and waited longer. When we went in again, he told us it would be another 40 minutes!! We had already been waiting over an hour and this person had the audacity to tell us to wait longer after not being transparent and honest about our wait time at the outset. So then we decided to raise a fuss, and miraculously, he managed to pull out a table for our group. The dishonesty was really an outrage. He didn't tell us how long we would really be waiting for, and my guess is that he was seating people ahead of us who had arrived later because we were waiting patiently. We aren't sure if we want to continue coming here if they are going to be dishonest with their customers. When the staff is going to be dishonest about things like wait times and the order in which customers should be seated, I can't expect them to be honest with their customers about anything else. The hookah and the ambiance are good, but you can have a better experience with the staff elsewhere. read more

Normally hookah bars are hella smoky and mysterious, but Fire keeps it well ventilated and safe. I've never felt uncomfortable or unsafe at this location, which is in the sketchier side of Fremont.
