The lentil soup was super delish and probably my favorite item from here. The meat portion seemed a bit small and they gave a lot of rice. I think it definitely could have benefitted from some kind of sauce because it was a bit dry and the flavors were falling flat. I liked the corn and edamame but I was really hoping for some more depth of flavor here. First time coming here and it is an order and find your seat type of restaurant but has a cabin cozy vibe to this place and I love it! I got the Mansaf which is a yogurt like curry with lamb and rice and it had a tangy taste to it with tender bites of lamb. I also tried the beriani dejaj which is similar style with a more subtle tangy taste to it with chicken bites which I might like more. We were looking forward to some outdoor dining because we had the dog with us but were told that we could bring her into the dining room. My wife asked twice to confirm, and she was told that we could sit to the left of the front doors and all would be fine. I felt odd but took her in on a short leash, hoping for the best. I removed one chair to an out of the way area and had the dog laydown in the space where the chair had been. She then went to get a couple of glasses of water for us to drink and some for the dog as well. When the food came, so did forks and napkins. Grilled Veggies - 4 - It was a nice variation to have some asparagus, but it would have been even better if the woody parts had been removed first. Still, it was a nice change of pace from the usual zucchini, eggplant, onion, bell pepper blend. There was also some cauliflower and broccoli. Veggie Delight - 5 - The Pita could have been hotter but everything else was very good. I often don't like Falafel and there's only one other restaurant where I'll order it. Came here after a long 20yr hiatus and was very happy. Stopped by during lunch time with colleagues and got a lamb kabob dish with grilled veggies, rice and fries. It was quite busy even for Wednesday, but the ordering line moved fast. Some of my colleagues ordered ahead online and skipped the line. The ambiance was good and not too noisy. The lamb kabobs were cooked to perfection and amazing. Especially when mixed with the spicy green chutney they had readily available next to the pickup counter. You can choose two sides for each of these plates and realistically, you can probably share one plate amongst two people. The flavor of the meats was perfect and the falafels were not too dry. Pita bread is soft and fluffy, while the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be coming back for one of these plates. Cold Hummus Appetizer: Amazing. I went to eat in the restaurant for once with my sister on Friday night. There were tables open but it was pretty crowded! You order at the front desk and are given a buzzer. Water and sodas are self service. Sauces are in front of the order desk. Today I got a lamb and beef Kabob on hummus, with falafel and red pepper paste as sides. I've also gotten this exact combo from this location via doordash. I appreciate them have low carb options available. This location has a tendency towards sour hummus, like it's sour all the time and very sour 30% of the time. Sometimes it's soo sour and will ruin the meal, and sometimes it's fine, thankfully this time it was fine, but maybe that's because there was less of it on the plate. Sides at dnd have definitely gotten smaller too, and I believe they're even smaller on in store plates than on to go. I also love zatar and pita, but it's not worth it for the price and quantity you get here. Before they became counter service, the dishdash here served it as an app with unlimited pita and it was soo good. I miss the sit down, you have to go to Sunnyvale for that now. My favorite things to get here are the lamb and beef kabobs, or the sumac chicken, or the mansaf.
