First, it is located behind the little strip mall. We struggled to find it at first but we called and they told us where to find them. Now on to the restaurant and food. The staff were so kind! Great recommendations on what to try and the specials going on. We ordered to-go two pizzas that the bartender recommended. The bartender spoke to us as we waited and was very friendly. The wait for the food wasn't too long either. Pizzas were hot and fresh. And the bartender was sweet enough to run into the back and get us to-go utensils, plates and napkins knowing that we were eating in our RV. Stayed in Amarillo a night while driving through. Pizza seemed like the perfect meal after a day of driving, but I was just told recently I need to cut gluten out my diet (boooo). But I did not give up hope, and thankfully this place came in clutch with the Califlower crust option. I was a little worried, because this was my first time having califlower crust pizza, I decided to go with the margherita.... and it was awesome! The people didn't even realize that we had ordered/saw the order come through but instead of telling him that they kept telling him it would be 5 minutes or it was almost ready for the entire 30 minutes he was there. The restaurant was not busy so it wasn't acceptable for this kind of service. Not even giving the food a chance because it's ridiculous that they operate this way. Maybe they're better for dine in but do not order pick up here if you value your time at all. Stopped here on our way to Denver from the Gulf Coast. The waiter was AMAZING and the rest of the staff seemed super friendly and nice. We got the honeybomb pizza without jalapeños and it was delicious. Loved the thin crust, very good quality. The flavors are a little on the softer side with nothing overpowering the other items really for a nice taste. Also got the sweet and sour wings which were great. Fantastically crispy chicken, cooked perfectly. Would definitely stop here again. Wish it was a local place to more easily revisit. I just moved into the area and was craving some pizza from a local pizzeria. I discovered this place on yelp and because of the great reviews I decided to give it a try. Their hours were a little odd. They're only open from 5pm - 9pm. So I waited until 5pm to place my order. I was having a hard time trying to place an order online because the webpage kept freezing on me every time I got to the page to pick my toppings. So I ended up calling them to place my order. I ordered the 12 inch Fire Slice Pizza, which had 6 slices. I replaced the meats with chicken and I had to add more toppings because they did not deliver on orders less than 20 dollars. So I added spinach, jalapeños, and bell peppers. That still did not add up to 20 dollars, so the lady offered to just charge me 20 dollars. I agreed because there was nothing else that I wanted on my pizza. Delivery took about 25 minutes. They brought me some ranch, plates, and napkins - which was nice because I was staying at a hotel. The pizza was delicious. The crust is thin and crispy, just how I like it! The only downside was the process of ordering and it is really pricey (26 dollars for a small pizza). read more

It was hard to find using Google maps maybe because it was behind the shopping center. But when found the parking was fine and the restaurant was clean, roomy and the service is friendly. We ordered Caesar salad, an original calzone and the cheese ravioli. The salad was tasty and generous to share. The ravioli was good but I thought the marinara could have had a bit more seasoning. The calzone was smaller than expected and the crust was doughy. The extra marinara for the calzone was an extra charge. We were driving back from Colorado and forgot about the time change going east that we lose an hour but had already promised the kids pizza. I called the restaurant and told them that we won't get to the restaurant until 9:38 pm according to our GPS and if they would still serve us or would the rather we order to go and eat it at the hotel. (I hate to be that last customer that walks in 10 minutes before closing but after a long 7.5 hour drive, I didn't want to go back on Yelp and keep looking for restaurants.) They told us to come on in and they would wait for us. Once we got there, we quickly ordered as we had looked at the menu in the car and everything was great! Happened upon this place while in Amarillo visiting family. I searched Yelp for a good recommendation that we could all agree on. My wife is not really a pizza person so we needed a place that had a more extensive menu. Using Goog maps to find the restaurant was easy but I drove past it because the restaurant is not in the front of the shopping center. Luckily there are signs leading you to Fire Slice Back Alley Pizza. The interior is pretty nice and the staff was very friendly. We ordered breadsticks with marinara sauce. The breadsticks were warm and delicious. My wife ordered a caesar salad but asked for fish instead which they happily accommodated. My son and I ordered a large Wiseguy Pizza, 3 cheeses, sliced meatballs, pepperoni, and garlic. The pizza was great! We finished half the pizza and took the rest with us for later! When we returned to our family's house they told us that Fire Slice is one of their favorite pizza joints. If you happen to be in the Amarillo area you definitely have to come here! read more

I left a decent tip but no small talk, no smiles, felt ignored and shunned as if I'm bothering them. It's a shame that you get a 1 star from me. Why? Because I love pizza and it was pretty damn good! The pizza was cooked well and had all the ingredients that they said it would have on the menu. I'm just not a fan of thin crust. If you are, then you should eat here.
