Inside main eating area. I was among the last custmers, FYI. So dont assume it was dead, it was just late.

Pork sandwich was very good, the coleslaw slw too, very tasty. I was stunned the Mac & cheese, litteralky had no flavor or seasoning. This surprised me. The pickles served with it were Great - maybe they make their own, not sure. But with tip, tax, food & a small coke, I spent $28 for the sandwich & small mac&cheese. Id probably go again & try the ribs next time. But nice in the summer & with a date or family/friends Id say.

So I'll start off by we found this place by driving past it... we looked at the menu and it looked good... the service was really good and our waiter was professional and polite ... the atmosphere was pretty nice it wasn't too noisy or too busy and we were able to get a seat quickly... our food tasted amazing ... burnt ends for both beef and turkey tasted amazing ... our dinner sandwiches were really good and were made properly... if we were going by food alone I'd give it 4.5-5 stars... however, the problem I have is the cost for appetizers were higher than actual meals and the portions were not the biggest ... when I asked about the check I was told that they " just re did their menus and they up-charge appetizers" also they add on an additional credit card fee for usage so if you go you may want to bring cash .... With that being said the cost for value to food is just not there and although it was delicious consider the hidden costs that this place puts on you ... a meal that should have been around 50-70 dollars quickly went over 100 with a tip ... a bit more price transparency would have gone a long way when ordering.

The service here was good. The waitress was nice and helpful-the outfit felt a little hooters-esque. I got the burnt ends which were fine. I found them too sweet (the menu does say they have brown sugar though). I also found there to be too many stringy ones as compared to the good fatty ones (but that could be a personal preference). I liked both the sides I got: the potato salad was solid as was the horse radish pineapple slaw-way better than it sounds-it is very well balanced. The cornbread was excellent. The drink I got which was a type of martini was delicious.

The food was so good I forgot to take a photo of it before we ate Our server was super sweet! We shared a some Pork Rinds, a Smoked Burnt Sausage Sandwich & Smoked Gouda Mac Mac n cheese! (The Mac n cheese.. they need an XL size) it was MY FAVORITE ! But everything was good 5 's from us!

Unfortunately, this dinner just added to our frustration. We had a 6:15 reservation and waited quite a while before a server arrived. When she did, she was very kind and took our drink and appetizer orders. But everything moved so slowly -- drinks and app took ages, and we placed our dinner order not long after. By 7:30, we still had no food. The server kept apologizing (she really was kind and doing her best), but it was clear something was off in the kitchen or with management. Eventually someone else came over, offered 20% off, and said our meals were "plating now" -- but that wasn't true, because we waited another 20 minutes. We were ready to cancel, and when the food finally came, I honestly couldn't enjoy it at that point. My chicken sandwich was nothing special (definitely not worth the wait), and my mom's scallops were salty and just bad. While our server was lovely, the overall experience with management and the kitchen was disappointing. Won't be back.

The chair that I was going to sit in looked wet but it turned out to be sticky too. When I asked the waitress to help clean it up she switched it out and said something about breakfast syrup. When we went to look at the special drink sign a bug crawled out of it and onto the table. The waitress didn't do anything about that. We ordered and waited for our food. The blueberry gin and tonic was good. We ordered bbq chicken tacos, mahi tacos, grilled mahi mahi and a scallop salad. The food was okay. Our server seemed like she didn't really want to be there. I feel like the prices were reasonable but I wouldn't go again.

Our must-order starters are the fried Brussels sprouts and the pimento cheese and chip dip. Wish there was more consistency in the tortilla chips as the restaurant made ones with honey dusting are superior to their store bought version. For mains, the smothered chicken is the standout. We much prefer it over the bone-in fried chicken--the pieces are juicier and more flavorful compared to the fried large bone-in chicken breast, which can be a bit less exciting. Go for the hot honey bird if you want a kick. The biscuits are a bit dry and A-OK - the butter and jam makes it taste better. If you're in the mood for something sweet with cinnamon and fall/winter spices, then sweet potato pancakes is a good option. The best value is coming during happy hour, though the offerings change periodically, so it's worth checking what's available. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Market Common, with free street parking and nearby lots, making it an easy and enjoyable stop overall.

Perfect Spot for a Sunny Afternoon Lunch!…read more We stopped into Gordon Biersch Brewery in Myrtle Beach on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon for a late lunch, and we were thrilled to be seated right away in their lovely outdoor dining area. Our server was fantastic--very attentive, bringing out our drinks super quickly and checking in just when we were ready to order. The menu has tons of wonderful options, from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and their signature brewery-inspired dishes. Prices are a bit on the higher side for lunch, but the quality makes it completely worth it. I went with the Caesar salad topped with salmon, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly dressed--the salmon was cooked just right. My husband ordered the French dip with fries, and he raved about how juicy and tender the beef was. Portions weren't enormous, but they were more than adequate and left us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The highlight was definitely sitting outside in the spring sunshine, people-watching in the vibrant Market Common area while enjoying the relaxed vibe. The patio setup with umbrellas kept it comfortable, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and lively in the best way. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Myrtle Beach--great food, excellent service, and that outdoor seating on a perfect day is hard to beat!
