Thursday, 4/2/2026 - we had a great time at Blazin' M Ranch. Address is 1875 Mabery Ranch Rd, Cottonwood, AZ 86326. The foods were good. Bbq chicken was fall off the bone good. There were pull pork, salad, corn bread and butter, mac & cheese, some kind of purple-ish cold slaw, mash potatoes and gravy, and a homemade cinnamon apple cake. Several different bbq sauces. They served some alcohol. You have to buy it, of course. The entertainment was funny and great. Loved all the songs they sang. Dinner started at 7pm. Entry to dinner started at 6:30pm. All the young servers were great. They were busy and helpful. They had animals, birds, mini golf, this 4 table ping pong table, escape room, axe throwing, old photo shoot ($15pp), mini museum, big chess game, connect 4, etc. But we didn't get to enjoy all the games because we accidentally took the long way to get to Blazin' M Ranch. You absolutely cannot go wrong spending an evening here. For $99 you can learn basic roping, complete an escape room challenge, throw some axes and use pellet guns to compete in a shooting lane shootout and ride a mechanical bull. The best is to grab a strong beverage of choice or two at the saloon beforehand to make it all so much funnier. A few extra fun touches before the dinner show:: a mini rail ride around the property and hanging out with the petting zoo animals. We paid for our old west portraits to get taken and at $40 for a couple to try on the costumes and make it happen was fun. As far as the petting zoo, bring some fresh produce in your pockets for the goats and the absolutely charming mini horse Gucci. He steals the petting zoo show. The dinner: soooo much great BBQ and dessert. We had delicious smoked chicken and pulled pork. Sides of Mac and cheese, homemade slaw, honey glazed corn bread, homemade mashed potatoes and the award winning grandmas apple cinnamon powdered cake. They encourage you to grab seconds. We couldn't even finish our firsts. Ok the show: it was outright hilarious. The owners and hired gun Eric Wildman Williams absolutely put on the next comedy and music infused hour show. Our family group of 14 went to Blazin' M Ranch last night. The Old West setting and "town"was great, lots of pre-dinner activities, and a nice air-con bar to hang out in too. BBQ Dinner was delicious with ample portions (pulled pork, grilled chicken leg-thigh, best Cole slaw ever - prickly pear-, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese, cornbread muffins and apple cake. Some non-alcohol drinks as well as an available bar. I like dinner shows and the Blazin'M serves up a good one. The gate opens at 5pm. We were warmly greeted. After a quick check in we explored the square. We threw axes and shot at a paper target which were included in the price. We watched others ride the mechanical bull but wouldn't risk our bodies. They have a small miniature golf course on site. It was five dollars a person to play. They had a full bar and we're offering knob Creek whiskey at $12. At about 6:30 they invite everyone in to dinner. Guests are seated at long tables. When they start dinner, they call up one table at a time to go through the chow line. There was apple cake, mashed potatoes, chicken leg and thigh, 2 babyback ribs, mac and cheese, coleslaw and corn bread. You could go back for seconds. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. They have a large bottle of prickly pear bbq sauce on the table. I used it on my ribs and chicken. Water, ice tea and lemonade are served by long pitchers on the tables. So about 2 years ago I went to Flying J Ranch in New Mexico with my son and we both had a blast. So that's what my anchor point for cowboy/ranch shows starts. There are a lot of similarities between Blazin M and Flying J such as the cowboy dinner and the old town outside the chow hall. Where Blazin M diverged wildly from the Flying J is the show. I went in expecting some country and cowboy music and instead experienced a musical skit. The team at Blazin M is clearly committed to entertaining the audience and it's so endearing. You walk into this cute little ranch town that has a saloon, axe throwing, old school photo, putt putt golf, bull riding, escape room, and cowboy hat making/decorating. There is a little gift shops where you can buy stuff. Most of the activities are included in the ticket, but the hat making and escape room costs extra. Totally worth the few hours you hang out in there before the dinner show! The food was actually way better than I expected for a show like this. Like really good. They severed chicken and ribs. The main difference between VIP and general is pretty much just where you sit during the show. The host and his wife were super fun and really entertaining. And the band crushed it with their covers! I'm still working the seniors tour to the GC trip, tonight we're in Clarkdale/Cottonwood, Arizona. The folks I'm driving got us tickets for bbq and a show, Think Cowboy Luau. This is a church size hall with a stage, 18 long wood tables seating is family style. Lots of cowboy hats and plenty of family and friends tonight. Tables are called one at a time to get in line for all the fix-in's. Fist served is the dessert now thats country...grilled chicken quarters, a couple deuces of baby back ribs ( there is NO sauce on the meat), "pink" cole slaw thats a first and mashers. The food is good, tastes good, warm enough, fast enough. Sauce and salt & pepper are on the table w/ napkins too. This was a super random, but really hilarious and fun experience. Family owned ranch out in Cottonwood AZ, you will run into a family member at some point of the night. Seriously good for all ages. There's plenty to do here while waiting for the dinner/ music to be set up in the barn. Try your hand at axe throwing, shooting a gun, clothing shops or hop on a quick wagon ride. Also, of course, ride the mechanical bull. I didn't but my friend did and it was worth watching her do that. Grab a beverage while you wait, oh and behind the saloon you might find some joy in the goats. They were fun and friendly. We had no idea what to expect for the whole night. We go into the barn and tables are lined up. At the beginning you got a number that coordinated with where you were sitting. So at this shared table we sat across from each other, which was encouraged. The couple next to us, we practically became BFF's by the end of the time. Her and her husband retired, traveling from Utah down to AZ in their camper. This was such a fun shared experience. The food was delicious and plenty. If you wanted more, seconds were available. To go to the restroom, you have to go the front and left side, out the door and you go in that way. At this point she's about to walk back in and the head guy says ok no one else out, stay seated. She comes back to her seat and she goes, This is going to sound crazy but there's this guy glowing outside and a horse with lights on it. I looked at her like she was drunk and laughed and said.. OK. Next thing you know, they start playing Johnny Cash (Ghost) Riders in the Sky and a dude in a glowing suit and mask comes flying by the barn on a horse (big barn windows). The crowd went wild. We had a Rootin', Tootin' Rip-roaring cowboy hootenanny of a time at this eight plus acre ranch and village! I should have worn my six shooters and spurs (I was wearing jeans, boots and cowboy hat though)! This Mom and Pop (husband and wife actually) operation deserves acclaim for a job well done! And a job that is hard to do. When you tour this well-kept and genuine looking little wild west town-like hamlet, have an opportunity to pull some muscles on a mechanical bronco buck bull riding, do a little shopping, try your expert (or non-expert) hand at axe throwing, an escape room, have fun in an old-time photogravure studio and try some wild west marksmanship - plus some actually decent well prep'd drinks from excellent saloon keepers at the bar (which conveniently happens to be right as you walk into the property - perfectly situated!). Their rendition of a live wild west show incorporates Vaudevillian style showmanship, clean cut family comedy, and country-western artist impersonation (or mis impersonation) acts! Their live show features the house band Blazin' M Ramblers Band - who's bass player extraordinaire is also the stage MC (I forgive his jokes). A handsome dinner on a metal platter consisting of Rib and Chicken portions with generous helpings of Corn Bread, pretty good Mac & Cheese, slightly ripe Prickly-Pear Coleslaw, some decent mashed potatoes, desert, iced tea, lemonade and water - they also have a bar for those who want more volatile libations! We visited on Saturday night and enjoyed the VIP experience for our daughter's birthday. When we arrived we were checked in quickly and directed towards the Photo Booth since it tends to get crowded quickly. Logan and Alissa in the photo area were nice and helped our family select outfits and take photos that we absolutely loved. After leaving the photo booth we tried to go to the escape room but were told it wasn't operational at the moment. We were super bummed since that was a huge reason we bought the VIP tickets, but Ryan the owner was so kind about making it up to us. Our family enjoyed the tram ride, the lasso experience, ax throwing, ping pong, bull riding, and miniature golf all before dinner. Dinner was served family style in the barn. We joined fellow patrons on long picnic benches and awaited instructions. Once our table was called we walked into the kitchen and were handed a tray with a plate on it. For dinner we were served bbq ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, and a biscuit. The meat was cooked perfectly and fell off the bones. It wasn't the best meal- but it was excellent for a hat it was. We were all full. They also allow seconds for patrons who might need more. After dinner the band plays songs and guides them with some fun storytelling. It was darling. It was fun to see the performers smiles and joy as they put on a show for us all. After dinner our family helped the staff feed the baby goats which was seriously one of the best parts!!! We truly had a great time and cannot wait to return! The 2 things I was looking forward to did not happen. I wanted my friend to ride the mechanical bull and they no longer have that activity yet it is still on the website. Also they do not have ribs for dinner, it is just pulled pork and the night we were there the pork was not good. The chicken, mashed potatoes and corn bread muffins were amazing. My MIL had found the Chuckwagon Supper & Western show online and it sounded like a great family option. Dinner, a show, games, a wagon ride, etc. I was expecting something similar to Pirate's adventure or Medieval Times in Buena Park...this is nothing like it. The stage is small and it's more a live action musical versus gun toting sheriff vs bad guys. It is a small production and just enough seating to still be intimate. This place is a lot of fun. I didn't know what to expect because I was with Silver Linings tour group. All the food was delicious and the way they served 250 people quickly and efficiently and all the food was at a good temperature that is a feat in itself ! What they need to work on is the young employees and I know they're following instructions from the boss, but if somebody wants to sit outside and get some fresh air, even though there's entertainment going on nearby, if the active show is not happening, where the patrons are sitting outside and they are out of the way and they promised to stay put where they are so the active entertainment is not interrupted and animals don't get excited, then leave those adult patrons alone and let them enjoy the fresh air! read more

What a fun filled and filling evening. Our whole family had an amazing experience. The property is beautiful and it's so cool what the team has done with it. Our kid's minds were blown by the fun western atmosphere. We were blown away by the delicious cocktails, food and friendly staff. Arrive early because there is a lot to experience at the Blazin' M Ranch. The kids loved throwing axes, meeting the goats, and the tractor/train ride. We wish we had enough time to get the western photo, but we were too busy having fun. The saloon is awesome! The staff is so friendly and fast, and the drinks are amazing! The prickly pear margarita and creamsicle were dreamy and delicious. The kids loved having a sarsaparilla and kicking back on the porch. Definitely don't miss the goats. They're so funny. Had to share a pic of this ham, he was totally cheesing for the camera. Now the food and show. Yum! The BBQ is amazing, and so filling. The ribs and chicken fall off the bone, and the prickly pear BBQ sauce complements the meat seasoning so well. The prickly pear coleslaw could be packaged and sold, it's that good. And you NEED to make sure to save room for the pie. The crust was buttery and I don't think I've ever seen my kids eat so much. No notes, delish! The show is definitely the highlight of the evening. The staff are amazing! The music and jokes keep you tapping your feet and laughing. The whole night is really a great time! Just go now and purchase tickets! OMG!!!! Fun, fun. We were staying in Sedona and drove about 30 min to the ranch. What a great experience we had. It was all adults mid week, which we absolutely loved! Very casual dress...there were men wearing shorts and some wearing jeans. I wore a long skirt and some cowboy boots, a T-shirt with a turquoise necklace. Very casual environment overall. Cute little western pioneer "town" environment. The doors opened at 5:00pm. From 5:00-6:30pm, you have the option to do a bunch of fun activities at the ranch that are included in your ticket price. Then around 6:30 you are called into the barn and served dinner around 6:45 or 7:00pm, depending on your group seating A,B,or C. I think we might've been done with the entire event by around 9pm or maybe just a little sooner. It kind of seem like the entire event went a little long and could've been a bit shorter, IMO. But it was definitely worth every penny! And we certainly got our monies worth. A full evening of fun! Would totally go back again. So much fun. We played the giant Connect Four game, threw axes, shot the target practice rifle, rode on the lil tractor ride around the acreage and petted the goats, all before dinner, all included in our ticket price!!!!!Mechanical bull riding and getting an old-time picture we're also included in our ticket price, but we did not get around to doing those things. Put put golf and the tiny escape room looked fun, but cost extra (which I thought was lame), so we did not do that. It was nice to go somewhere and pay one price and have everything included. A Wonderful Western Surprise at the Blazin' M! My niece and her boyfriend, both in their early 20s, were visiting us in Buckeye, and I wanted to find something that captured the spirit of the West. After a little online searching, I found the Blazin' M. Since we were headed to Sedona for the day, I thought -- why not? It sounded fun and reasonably priced. Wow, were we in for a surprise! We had an incredible time. There were so many activities to enjoy before dinner, and this youthful 72-year-old even gave the mechanical bull a try! Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and clearly loved what they do. I didn't have high expectations for the dinner, but it turned out to be one of the most delicious BBQ meals we've ever had -- and we've had plenty! The dinner show was such fun. The emcee joked that it wasn't Broadway, but it sure was entertaining! My husband and I loved the nostalgic touches, and one of the musicians was absolutely phenomenal -- so talented on every instrument he played. What truly made the evening special was the warmth and hospitality of the people who work there. They made everyone feel welcome from start to finish. What a great evening beginning with a trip to the Saloon for delicious prickly pear margarita, then off to sharp shooting, ax throwing, and bull riding. My friend and I traveled 6 hours R/T to visit is ranch. I noticed that the tracker pull they had that is currently on their web page, is no longer there. Disappointing. We had not eaten or drunken in hours. Tables are set up western family style, long wooden tables and benches. Scarcely attended on this night, most sat on the ends and left the middle open. Drink pitchers were placed toward both ends. One side lemonade and the other iced tea. Iced tea is against my religion, and the lemonade was far down the long table, with no one in the middle to pass it down so I made the mistake of asking for a picture of lemonade on our side of the table. The owner went on a tirade demeaning my friend and me for asking for something to drink within arm's length! He raised his voice, mocking us (both over 65 and I am a disabled veteran) and exclaimed we must not have learned how to share in kindergarten! He repeated it louder repeatedly. We just wanted a pitcher of lemonade within reach as I am disabled! It was never about sharing, we gladly would have shared with anyone on our side of the table. He called us rude for asking for a drink that was included in the $85.00 per person fee. He then told us this is private property demanded we leave immediately. As we were quietly walking to the door while he continued to berate us along the way, saying he doesn't have to put up with "people like us". He was so rude. What does "people like us" refer to? People who would like the advertised drink provided? We drove 6 hours round trip, spent $60 in gas, never got a meal or the entertainment ...left hungry, thirsty and disappointed. Very disrespectful and with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Ryan, I read your response. I am a Christian woman and I go out of my way to never lie or exaggerate. I hope you can reevaluate your behavior and learn more respect for your customers. I know your parents ran this establishment for years and did a great job, I am a repeat customer. I never got one sip of it as by the time you sarcasticly brought a pitcher of lemonade...you told us to leave. I am a 90 percent disabled veteran who had MAJOR leg and feet/ankle surgery. It is difficult for me to get up and down repeatedly. The pitcher was completely down the aisle and there were no customers in the middle to pass it down. Asking for a drink, at a venue that charges $85 a person (that includes a drink and meal) should never have been an issue. Saying that a person with medical issues who served our country not only in the military but also as a police officer and who now has major medical issues that asks for a simple pitcher of lemonade (instead of the iced tea) is "entitled and lazy", well that goes beyond the pale. Do your parents know what your disposition is like and how totally rude you are? BTW, I was Charlie's photographer at many events and knew him personally. He would have been shocked at your behavior to two elderly women. People reading this review can decide for themselves if they want to visit your establishment. Truly the best dinner and entertainment experience ever. The western town, museum, and attractions beforehand are nice, the food is fabulous, and the show is great. The showroom itself is a comfortable size, not a bad seat in the house. During the introductions there was a show of hands and at least two thirds of the guests were repeat customers. We had such a great time at Blazin' M! Four of us went to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a wonderful evening. We walked around outside and watched the shooting and axe throwing events. We went into the saloon and enjoyed a frosty cold draft beer. At dinner time everything filed into the barn and found their table as designated on their ticket. Dinner was served in a pass through buffet style and servings were large! Everything offered was delicious! There was a music show after dinner that was very entertaining! We had a great time here Friday night. Arcade-style entertainment commenced at 5 pm: a tractor-pulled train, lumberjack-style axe throwing, BB pistol target shooting, mechanical bull riding, photo studio, a genuine saloon featuring Arizona wine & beer and a full liquor license, a souvenir shop. All good fun. I brought some scorpion candy, which I will try as soon as I get my courage up again. The saloon keeper poured a prickly pear margarita that made me silly by the time I'd consumed half a glass. Dinner was in a large (really large) cafeteria on metal plates. Chicken BBQ, short rib BBQ, prickly pear coleslaw, mashed potato, "flying biscuits." Apple pie for dessert. All of it delicious, and if they had opened the line for seconds I'd be there! I gained 2 pounds that night. All the crew wore some kind of Western outfit. A good number of people were here to celebrate their birthdays. The show was fun, too. A drama, some humor, a variety show. A visit from a ghost rider on a live horse. The whole thing gave us a great feeling and days later I'm still enjoying it. read more

It is a small business that had some thought put into it. The gates were opened on time. You are welcomed in by the staff dressed in costumes into a small western village. You can get your old fashioned picture taken, throw axes, ride a mechanical bull, shoot targets, do an escape room, take a tractor ride, and get a drink at the saloon before the dinner show starts. The dinner was delicious and the show was a BLAZIN good time. We had a blast and would go again when in the area. read more

What was supposed to be a fun group outing. I spent $610 for a group of 8 of us to go to this last weekend. Upon arrival you find a place to park and then you either stand in line to check in or go to the left for fun photo props. Check in with a yound girl who never scans our tickets just ask for my name and phone number. She handed me 8 meal vouchers and told me that they were doing things different tonight and we could eat from 5-7 and the show would start at 7:30pm. Confused on where to go we walk into a hall and there are no instructions on what we were supposed to do. Ryan came up and gave us the low down on where we were to get food. Honestly, not very organized. The food was ehhhh. You line up to go in the "back" and are given a prison tray and given a cherry pie, piece of chicken, piece of rib meat, coleslaw, beans, mac & cheese and a roll. Cherry pie was beyond dry, chicken was so overcooked in sauce it was mushy, rib meat was amazing though, coleslaw was more mayo-e then vinergrette and the beans and mac & cheese had so much salt you could barely eat it. With a hard as prison biscuit. No drink offering that we found. No water, soda, or anything visible for a free drink. Go to the bar and are speaking to the bartender. Asked him for an ameretto sour, said he couldn't make. Friend asked for a Mai Tai and the bartender goes, "You think I am from Hawaii?" snarkly. Asked for another drink and he said, he couldn't make it. He only pretty much knew how to make what their drink specials were. Sat and ate and BS's with friends as we mulled the food options over. Guy singing while we ate was really good. We then get up to go see the festivities and end up at the saloon just outside the food hall. A few of our friends were overly intoxicated already and I was surprised that the two bartenders would even serve them as one friend was already unable to stand on her own. The female bartender kept making snarky remarks and when we asked her if she could take a group photo she took it upon her self to record instead cause our friend fell on the ground and was having a hard time getting back up. We went to the back shop and the young man said he was closed. I told him we were told that the shops/festivities would be open till 7:20 and it was only 7:00pm. He only apologized. Went to axe throwing, no one around so we could play. Went into another shop and the girl who ended up being one of the owners allowed up in to shop. When we came out of that shop they said they now moved the show from 7:30pm to 7:15pm due to low attendance. We were unable to do any of the other activities. Show is all satire. I am not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't that. The band is great and Ryan did a great job trying to keep everyone engaged but the fenale singers were laughable. They push that they are a cashless venue and then tell you to kindly tip the younger workers on your way out. Glad we did it once to say we did it but I would not return here in the future. read more
