My number one pick for good coffee and breakfast burrito, the staff is nice every time

We arrived early for a medical appointment in the area and decided to get some coffee here. I was caught off guard by 1) how tiny the inside is, and 2) there was a rack of fresh bagels!!! I honestly had no idea this place was here... and with bagels! I don't get bagels locally because, well, just because. I happily ordered us coffee and bagels. Now, bear in mind, we roast our own coffee, so to us, the coffee was on the "good" side of Ok. The bagels, on the other hand, were delicious! And boy, do they pack on the cream cheese (maybe enough for 3 bagels depending on one's preference)! Service was friendly and fast. And all the people coming and going were very pleasant - there were plenty of them. The sitting area outside next to the road is pretty small (next to a dumpster, I think), and my guy was having some mobility challenges (on crutches, etc.). Folks in the neighboring table were so kind and accommodating, voluntarily standing up so that he could maneuver into a seat. We went back the following week (yes, another medical appt), and this time they were out of the bagels we wanted, so note to self... get there early if you want a favorite bagel. Came here for bagels as I was visiting the town. They have a delicious variety of bagels, sandwiches and coffee although is a small space but great spot for breakfast or lunch. The service was so friendly and nice. I ordered the Situation sandwich and it was yummy it needs a bit of salt but it was fresh and warm. I highly recommend this place! read more

I ordered from DoorDash, and my sandwich arrived in great condition and exactly as I ordered it. I usually avoid bagel sandwiches because I expect the bagels to be difficult to bite into. We came here on a weekday morning and there was a rush of people there getting their food before work. You order at the cashier and then they call your name when your coffee and/or breakfast sandwich is done. We ordered two bagels - one cheese bagel with cream cheese and then one bacon, avocado, and cream cheese on everything bagel. The bagels were very tasty and fresh. Only thing is, the everything bagel had a weird spice on it, and we think it's pumpernickel. We wanted egg sandwiches but because of the 20-minute wait for eggs, since everything is made to order, we did not order sandwiches with egg. They only have two stoves to cook the egg sandwiches, so it would be cool if they could increase their capacity since clearly this is a busy place. There is a bench outside but otherwise no seating. Maybe they put outdoor seating when it's not raining, but this place could use more seating. read more

Decided to check out this place based on Yelp! I got the crème brûlée latte iced - but not what I expected, it kind of just tasted like a latte. I also got a breakfast bagel - that was delicious and it was packed with ingredients, I appreciate that they weren't stingy with the egg, cheese and cream cheese. Firefly Coffee House is such a warm and welcoming spot! We ordered the breakfast bagel, and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, filling, and full of flavor. I couldn't resist trying a cinnamon sugar bagel too, and it was the perfect sweet treat. For drinks, we got the Sweetheart and the Blonde, both of which are house specials and you can taste why. The Sweetheart was the perfect mix of sweet and smooth, and the Blonde latte was creamy and so satisfying. You can tell they put love into everything here. Definitely coming back soon! read more

Parking was quick and easy, though I went around 1:30 which is just a bit before they close. I appreciate that they made my latte in a personal cup I brought :) Staff were friendly and nice, too. All I got was a vanilla oatmilk latte, which tasted pretty standard like I get everywhere. Cute coffee and eats shop just off the 1! Charming outdoor area with seating. Ordered a hot latte with vanilla syrup--10/10. Perfect latte. I could taste everything without any particular flavor overpowering the others. Also got the Works Burrito for $16, which includes chorizo and avocado. I think it's a good price point. The burrito is huge so I shared with my boyfriend. He also had the breakfast bagel which he enjoyed. Picked up an extra bagel to-go and sped off. Cute place for brunch. A little pricey. There was a line out the door-- always a good sign. We got in line around 10:45am on a Saturday and got our food around 11:30. Don't recommend if you're in a rush. Cashier was super nice. Only 1 person in the kitchen and 1 working the bar which explained the wait. The hazelnut latte I ordered was great. Was nickel and dimed for whipped cream and the cup which was kinda annoying. Not from the area, so not sure this is customary. We both ordered "the works" breakfast burrito. For real though, this spot has become a weekend tradition for my best friend and I. Delicious bagels, great people, creative drinks - what more could a girl ask for?! I love this place! It has been here since before I moved out on my own in 2012. Been getting bagels here since. They are so chewy and delicious. And I love the roasted jalapeño cream cheese. My friends and I stopped by Firefly Coffee House on our drive down to Carmel and decided to order ahead through DoorDash. I highly recommend doing this because there was a line out the door and only two people working - so busy! I ordered Lox, Cream Cheese, Tomato & Chives on an Everything Bagel and an Iced Peppermint Latte. My friends both got Egg & Cheese on an Everything Bagel. The food was ready and packaged by the time we arrived, and we were relieved to avoid the crazy wait. In terms of bagels, what they serve here aren't really bagels, they're more like rolls. That being said, they're very tasty - they're just not bagels. I had also asked for mine to be toasted and it was barely toasted at all. Other than that, we thought the food was delicious. I sometimes am so happy but yet sad when we find such an amazing place when out of town. Of course I am sad because I want to eat these delicious bagel sandwiches all the time and I cant! On our way back from Santa Cruz, CA we wanted to stop by and grab a quick bite to eat and some coffee, and after looking around in Yelp for a bit I saw this place that didn't have many reviews for this location but saw their other location seemed to be pretty popular. This place is very small with only standing room inside for a couple to order. However they have a cute sitting area outside with a couple tables, but it seemed that most people just stopped in to grab a coupe goodies to go. They had a pretty good selection of bagels, spreads, bagel sandwiches, and coffee drinks; along with some specials shown at a board at the entrance. I personally am a huge fan of the lox and everything bagels so I got the sandwich and a mocha. I had my eye on the Kitchen Sink Sandwich and luckily my wife ordered than one so I can try it. The mocha was very tasty and the sandwich was amazing! The bagel was so soft and flavorful and portions of the lox, cream cheese and green onions was perfect. I do tend to like going heavier on the cream cheese and they are definitely not shy with that spread. I was able to snag a bite from my wife's Kitchen Sink Sandwich and man was it awesome, specially because she got it with the cheddar jalapeño bagel. read more

The bagels are just SOOO soft, like they melt in you mouth, effortless to chew . They almost reminded me of telera bread (if you are Mexican you know what I'm talking about). I ordered the kitchen sink bagel, sooo good! Perfect portions of avocado, crunchy bacon , jalapeños and cream cheese. The jalapeño cheddar bagel complimented it perfectly. For drink I order the London Fog! (Earl grey tea with vanilla syrup topped with steam milk) super good too! Stop by this cafe for brunch on the way to Santa Cruz beach. It's very small with some out door seating (which was perfect because we had our pup with us) and limited number of parking spots. They sell coffee, teas, bagel sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. My husband got the kitchen sink sandwich with onion cheddar bagel and I got the vegan bagel with avocado (they ran out of vegan cream cheese). The bagels are house made and are the best thing ever! We stopped by Firefly Coffee House for the first time yesterday morning. We were lucky to get a parking spot in front of it. The parking lot is small but there is street parking available. This Firefly Coffee House location seems more of a grab-n-go spot because seating is extremely limited and it is outdoor seating only. There was an only a few tables for 2-4 people outside in the front of the coffee shop. We ordered 2 hot mochas, a plain bagel with cream cheese, the egg bagel sandwich, and the b*fast burrito. The mochas were great. They were chocolately and rich. The plain bagel was lightly toasted and loaded with cream cheese. The bagels are house-made so they are fresh. There are a lot of different bagel flavors to choose from. I chose an everything bagel for my egg sandwich. The egg bagel sandwich was simple with cream cheese, eggs, and cheddar cheese. It was a big breakfast sandwich and could have been split between 2 people. I enjoyed the cream cheese with the eggs. The b*fast burrito took awhile for the kitchen to make, but it came out piping hot. The burrito was huge and loaded with ingredients. The food and coffee here were delicious! The food took longer than expected so that was the only negative of our experience. We would come back here and highly recommend visiting this coffee shop! read more

Food is fairly good. Well prepared, the chefs definitely know how to prepare a good bagel. The service is a bit lacking. Every time I go In, the front is manned by someone who is either on their first day or hasn't learned anything since their first day. While personal attention is a great thing, it needs to be limited when the line grows that far down the block. I'm glad you got a job you feel is laid back, but when the chefs are staring daggers at you out of a lack of shit to do, maybe you're taking to long on each customer. And knowing what you're doing helps. Whe you ask if I'd like room in my coffee, I would room, as I find that overfilled coffee cups in my car tend to spill, lid or no. It doesn't mean fill the cup up with cream for my lactose intolerant ass. Maybe if there was someone who was working the machine instead of having to do all the front of house stuff as well as making all the coffees as well this wouldn't be as much of an issue. Patio would be nice if there wasn't a line of people growing impatient standing over me. read more

everything is amazing here, a little bit expensive but the portions are big so it's worth it in my opinion. we got the lox bagel and the works burrito which were both delicious! there's also a small patio in front that is dog friendly, only two tables with a couple of seats though. read more
