This place is awesome. Just moved to Oregon from Madison and this place is equal to the best coffee shops in Madison. I've only had their cold brew and one of their iced teas, super delicious. I've also gotten their avocado toast every time I've gone and it's so yummy. They have a cooler of delicious local cheese for sale and a few other local goodies. It's really cozy and very roomy. Amazing coffee, food, service, and space -- I've been going here since high school, and the coffee quality has never changed. It's still $2 for a medium coffee iced or hot, tax included, same as it was years and years ago. I've yet to find any iced coffee on the planet that's better than the Firefly's. I was skeptical when the Firefly recently changed ownership, but all the changes have been small and positive! Recently tried one of their local artisan cheese boards, and it was so tasty and a lot of food for 2 people. My partner loves their vanilla lattes. Their breakfast sandwiches are excellent - especially with the upgraded cheese! read more

So disappointed in my favorite coffee shop. I have been using curbside pick up. Works great. Now that the lobby is open I can no longer use gift cards for online orders. I am "high risk" and unable to enter the lobby. In the time of the pandemic I would have thought they would be more courteous and helpful. Have received gift cards because friends know how I love this coffee shop. I think it's important that they let people know of this restriction before selling gift cards. read more

This place is awesome. While I was there I got attacked by several assailants but not to worry Chuck Norris always knows what to do even at age 72 I still round house kicked the lot of em and then picked up the phone number of one of the coffee making laddies. I was however disappointed that they didn't have a 72 ounce steak on the menu....Chuck likes his meat....so I went out and killed some wild animals with my bare hands and made my own steak. read more

Where do I start... Delicious food delicious drinks!! Firefly is so good! I always get either their smoothies or hot chocolate! It's basically the Livingroom of Oregon! That's what they say! First know that most of the time I only have coffee which is very good. If possible I like to sit on one of the 3 sides of the fireplace. This morning my girl friend & I drove over from New Glarus to have lunch too. We both ordered the Hot Veggie 1/2 sandwich & soup combo. I had planned to get a salad until I saw one of the soups was kale + sweet potatoes which sounded interesting. The sandwich was on a rosemary sourdough bread. The soup had some other veggies in. Both were delicious. We sat in a pair of easy chairs. There are so many places to sit here: if you want to work, the regular tables & chairs are abundant. Since I come to relax, I opt for an easy chair or couch. I also love the ambience of an old building and cheerful staff. You can tell it's a good place because teenagers come, meet their friends and appear to enjoy being here. Oh, did I mention they have a play area for little ones? Or a conference room that can be reserved? If I lived closer, I would be here much more often. read more

The Firefly is a great place to sit and relax on a winter evening. They serve lunch and that is very good. I have not tried all their different coffee choices, but I do like their tea. It is a nice relaxing place with an local artist's work displayed on the walls. read more

Last weekend I was able to give Firefly Coffeehouse a try. I really enjoyed it. This is a big coffee shop with lots of room to spread out. There are little nooks to hide in and big tables to share with friends. I had a granola bar that was really good! I would definitely go back! read more

Great place to go for working on a laptop or reading a good book. Very good atmosphere. They have a nice Kids play area which is separate from other spaces to minimize noise. Pretty good menu options even for a no-coffee person. read more

I went to Firefly to get some work done and grab some coffee recently. The staff was welcoming and the space had many options for comfortable seating and plenty of tables to work at. I was able to get a lot done and will be back to use it as an alternative office space again! read more

This is how a coffee shop should be. Delicious drinks in the cutest mugs known to mankind. Assorted pastries, yum. Wifi, yes, that's good. Books everywhere, and best of all: lots of seating. This is the sort of place you can sit and get comfortable in. Love love love Firefly. read more

Honestly this is the second time I unexpectedly found myself stopping into this place & being delightfully bowled over by the feeling of open space & privacy, the delicious food options (homemade soup, sandwiches, & cookies plus my favorite natural soda selections), the ease of parking &, last but not least, the friendly service. My only regret is that I didn't have room for a coffee. But I do recall the first time I was there the coffee was outstanding. As for the bathrooms, I did not use them so I can't comment as to whether they were up to snuff. If I lived in Oregon I would probably make my second living room in this cafe. It totally feels like home...only more relaxed & I didn't have to lift a finger except to bus my table! Love the shared library concept and small gift items for sale as well. read more

The coffee beverages and homemade pastries are consistently fantastic. The ambiance is positively buzzing, but there are also plenty of quiet corners and comfortable chairs to retreat to for working or reading. The best coffee ever. I order a large latte with whole milk and it still has a strong coffee flavor which I love (much unlike Starbucks). My favorite sandwich is the turkey pannini on rosemary bread and that's to die for. My only complaint is my husband usually orders an iced peppermint tea. They make it from scratch so it takes a while for the tea to brew and this is time-consuming. But they don't give him the leftover tea. They fill a glass with ice and then pore his prepared tea over that. One other place makes it with the espresso machine so it's fast and they give him the extra so he can replenish his tea when the ice melts. read more

Love the Firefly! Known as "Oregon's Livingroom," it's a great place to hang out with friends, or work on your computer using the free wifi. There are places for kids to play, too. Seating is varied (from sofas and easy chairs to tables) and the ambiance is comfortable and cozy. The food is good, too! My only minor complaints are 1) I kind of wish there was a little more service for food. I know it's not a real full service restaurant, but I kind of wish there was an area where you could sit and really get served a meal. and 2) I wish there was a bottomless iced tea option, like in restaurants. But honestly, I love the Firefly, and it's a wonderful place to hang out in downtown Oregon! read more

I love this small town coffee shop. The coffee is great, the food is good, the atmosphere is relaxing, & the people are super friendly. The parking right by the shop is on the street but just on the corner (which isn't far) there is a parking lot.
