Neapolitano Pizza is sometimes hard to find, especially in a small town like this. They certainly know what they're doing here. Owner on site. Fresh quality ingredients, being this style of pizza, it cooks quickly in the oven. Ours was ready in about 5 minutes! If I had one complaint it would be $5.00 for the True Leaf plastic bottles of ice tea. Caprese pizza was just like caprese, large fresh basil, creamy cheese, drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. $18.00 Carne pizza was good as well, pepperoni (small crispy) and perfectly spicy sausage. $20.00

Located on the boardwalk this is a small place with very few tables inside. However there are tables outside on a common patio. This is more of a take-out place which we did. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this pie. It was delicious. They source their flour from Italy and use a 48 hour process. They also use Napoli San Marzano tomatoes. We ordered the Carne, a pepperoni, sausage, and cheese. Also a Caesar salad. The crust was superb. Highly recommend this place.

A quaint little place in Grand Lake. The outdoor seating area was very pleasant. We ordered their specialty pizza, sandwich and four cheese pizza. The food came quick and we didn't have to wait. It's a self service restaurant. Absolutely loved their sandwich and the specialty pizza. The ingredients were very fresh and the bread was phenomenal. The four cheese pizza was salty to my taste. They customise pizza to our dietary needs. Overall, a great dining experience.

While on vacation in Grand Lake Colorado we decided to have dinner at Firefly Pizza. The lady up front was courteous and did a great job with our order. Pizza size options was not available the only size available was about a medium size pizza our pepperoni pizza and one can coke with tax and tip, yes a walk up do it yourself was asking for a tip, was about $24.00. I guess dinner for two wasn't too bad. Anyway the pizza was prepared quickly and was an average pizza. No complaints.

Yummy wood fired pizzas. A little overpriced but not surprised for tourist spot. Service was great. Would recommend

Delicious pizza!! This is relatively new pizza place and its fills the void. Everyone in our party got their own personal pizza. They offer specialty pizzas and plain old pepperoni pizza. Large portions and prices are reasonable. There is a full bar. Pet friendly with outside dining. Great wheelchair access tables and umbrellas. Bathrooms need a deep clean. We will be back!!!

Tables high enough you can choose to stand as my mom and I did. Iced coffee in pic is from The Hub right around the corner.

Really good pizza and loved the ambience. Service was good. You order at the counter then have a seat. You'll get a pager to let you know when your food is ready.

This is a big salad be warned. We ordered a 14 inch pizza the first visit and a 12 the second, these pies are well dressed with the toppings of your choosing and baked perfectly. The manager Kelsey was very nice, cheerful, attentive to her customers. Our server was also wonderful. The atmosphere is typical of a pizza restaurant but, I was there to eat and not critique their ambience. If you're in Grand Lake and hungry stop on in and enjoy.

As I took our pizzas to go, I have no opinion about the service itself. Ordering at the front desk was easy enough. No issues there! From looking at the place, it is a bit small. Nothing too fancy. Honestly, seems a bit dingy. I was happy with our decision to take it to go so we could enjoy being outside on a great Grand Lake day. We got a cheese pizza (14", $21) and the pesto chicken specialty pizza (16", $36.70). Both were very tasty and not overly greasy. The dough is very soft with the appropriate amount of chew--very dangerous as it was so yummy! They didn't skimp on the toppings, too. So, overall, it is a very good pizza. The value proposition here, though, is tough. There's a sliding scale of pizza value, and I think this ends a bit on the expensive side, even when making considerations for location. At the same time, I do think this is the best pizza you can get in the area. You just don't have many, quality options in this area, so the lack of competition might be keeping the prices higher here (not to mention it being a mountain town). I would come back here after trying other food in town.

I was told 15 to 20 minutes and arrived right at the 20 minute mark, but it was obvious the pizza had been sitting there much longer. It was served up ice cold. Even the dollops of ricotta tasted like they were added after the pizza was made, straight from the refrigerator. I am not exaggerating when I say ice cold, despite parts of the pizza being burnt. The edges of the crust were burnt, not in a good wood fired way with flavor, but just hard, overcooked, and inedible. While the toppings were generous, the pizza itself was extremely dry, just like others have mentioned. As I waited, I could see into the kitchen and noticed they were using pre made crusts, basically the kind you would grab at a grocery store when you do not feel like making your own. Charging $47 for that? No thanks. I hate wasting food, but we could not even finish this pizza. It was that bad. That is on me for not checking reviews beforehand. We should have just stuck with our usual spot, Grand Pizza, which happened to be closed for mud season. The difference in quality is night and day. I just want to warn others before they make the same mistake and waste their money like I did. Definitely will not be back.

All of this review is written to improve future dining experiences for others. The historic rapids lodge restaurant is trying to be a fine dining experience when they don't have the front of house service, nor kitchen experience to hold that standard that they are having you pay for. ($82 ribeye, $21 deviled eggs, etc..) It is a beautiful venue on the river I will give it that. We also had a LARGE party, and I recognize fully how difficult that can be, but it was my sister in laws engagement day and celebration. We tried to set our reservation months in advance (as we were a LARGE party and wanted them to be prepared) and they didn't respond to us while we were reaching out several times until a month before, then the night of the event they were not even close to prepared. The host walked us into the restaurant without the tables set up, WE had to help set them up because they didn't know how many were in our party nor how to seat us. We didn't get silverware until we asked twice, we didn't have enough water for 20 minutes, we didn't get menus after sitting at the table. They don't have wine menu's to pair their food with. We never had enough bread for the 17 of us (we got a quarter loaf at a time). I see the owners vision, and he tried to make up for the mistakes with free sides and dessert, but while he was a pretty good host I don't think he has the staff to accomplish a fine dining experience. Disappointing experience for the price point, and mid tier experience for a dining experience at one quarter price point. Meet the bare minimum before you try to charge $100 a head. Get a wine list and prepare your waiters when you're charging $24 a glass. Train your staff to care about the menu and know what they're talking about with food and wine pairings. I know it's not denver, so if you can't find people like this in grand lake or train them yourself, LOWER YOUR PRICE POINT and change your business plan to upscale casual. Please. P.S. We still tipped 20+%, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until they try to adjust their business plan.

I slept about 4 hours the night before to make it early for sunrise. To say that a few tasty beers were what the doctor ordered would be the understatement of the century! None of this matters, of course, to the good folks at Rocky Cut Brewing Company. This is off the main drag of Estes in an unassuming strip plaza. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River!
