Neapolitano Pizza is sometimes hard to find, especially in a small town like this. They certainly know what they're doing here. Owner on site. Fresh quality ingredients, being this style of pizza, it cooks quickly in the oven. Ours was ready in about 5 minutes! If I had one complaint it would be $5.00 for the True Leaf plastic bottles of ice tea. Located on the boardwalk this is a small place with very few tables inside. However there are tables outside on a common patio. This is more of a take-out place which we did. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this pie. It was delicious. They source their flour from Italy and use a 48 hour process. They also use Napoli San Marzano tomatoes. We ordered the Carne, a pepperoni, sausage, and cheese. Also a Caesar salad. The crust was superb. Highly recommend this place. read more

We were told that Firefly has the best pizza in town and I think that was a fair statement. We love Neapolitan style pizza and decided to give this spot a try. It wasn't the best pizza we've ever had but it was solid for a small town like Grand Lake. You order at the counter and sit down with a buzzer. It didn't take long for the pizza to come out. We got 3 different kinds. My husband ordered the goat cheese pizza but honestly, the goat cheese completely overwhelmed the other flavors. All I could taste was goat cheese. Not my favorite. While on vacation in Grand Lake Colorado we decided to have dinner at Firefly Pizza. The lady up front was courteous and did a great job with our order. Pizza size options was not available the only size available was about a medium size pizza our pepperoni pizza and one can coke with tax and tip, yes a walk up do it yourself was asking for a tip, was about $24.00. Busy on a Saturday- but service is so quick you don't end up waiting long. On a nice sunny day- the patio would be stellar. I loved the pizza sauce. My mom thought it was best pizza she has had in Colorado ever- I'd agree it's up there! We ate the pizza while walking home in the rain- it was so fresh we could not wait. Large portions and prices are reasonable. There is a full bar. Pet friendly with outside dining. Great wheelchair access tables and umbrellas. Bathrooms need a deep clean. The purveyor of this establishment clearly knows what he is doing and has mastered the small details. They offer personal pizzas as well as regular sizes and several different topping option from build your own to pre set ones. They are a bit on the expensive side but wow are they good! the sauce is fresh and the crust has that awesome wood fired char to it! We got the pepperoni and the meat lovers version and I cannot get over just how amazing this place it!! They are pretty small inside but have indoor and outdoor seating options with umbrellas outside. The people working here are awesome too and very knowledgeable about their menu!
