Pizza Pedalr has been around for a while but this is my first year trying it. Swapping out the typical NY pizza crust for sourdough is the best move they could have made. The one thing from NY I've never seen reproduced well is the crust. They didn't try and instead gave this amazing fluffy and chewy experience in its place, and I love it. Not only finished the crust but wished I had more. If they made just the crusts like breadsticks with the tomato sauce inside I'd be down. Plenty of NY-style pizza out there, but this is next level. I have not been actually excited about food in I don't know how long. This is the most unexpected of surprises to find this winter! Overall, the place is really welcoming, and the decor is nice enough for looking at while waiting for your pizza. And you might wait a bit... but this is worth it. I also feel like I just had a meal instead of a snack after one slice which does make me feel better about the price, which is kinda high, but it's a resort village so it's going to be. If you want a slice with extra ingredients (say, jalapenos added to a pepperoni slice), they'll add them to an existing cooked pizza , and "reheat" the slice. Unfortunately, the "slice" is already cooked, and the toppings - in this case pepperoni - are already toasted, if not, burned. Just an awful result. Such an effing same to see this change. There are so many other pizza options in the town of WP. I would (and will) skip visiting Pizza Pedal'r from here on out.
