Perfectly crafted beer in the heart of Greenville. This place is relatively young but off to a wonderful start. Fireforge is making great beer and providing an awesome place to drink it in. They really put a lot of work into the pallet wall behind the bar. If you look at it, just try and imagine how long that took just to deconstruct and then put all those pieces together on the wall. They have plenty to drink for all who venture in. Red and white wine and a couple ciders. Then you have the copious amounts of beer to choose from. They don't stick to just your typical every day beers either. They've got spicy pepper beers and fruity stouts. Fireforge is staying creative in a market that demands it to stick out. Parking is around the whole area. With a small lot right beside them. They have small plates and food trucks sometimes. Look for a food spot to open nearby very soon. Its a strange thing this place is usually kind of dead while the brewery just down the hill is packed. The staff is great except for one manager who seems to be strangely fixated on the amount of time you stand in line waiting for a beer if you have a dog. They say they're dog friendly and want you to buy their beer but he makes a point of telling you you can't have dogs inside. I let him know the obvious that I'm just waiting for a beer and he says that's ok as long as I go outside when I get it. I was kind of confused that he needed to state the obvious with an unfriendly tone. Dog friendly but not dog friendly. I've been there a few times and it's always been ok. Just ok but I felt uncomfortable being micro managed while trying to spend money and my friends were confused why serving us took a bartender and a manager when there were less then ten customers in the place. Maybe he just likes to micro manage his customers, either way we'll stick to the other brewery. Much friendlier service without the hassle. Dogs welcome inside and out with great food. read more

A good amount of beer selections. I'm a Belgium beer fan and they had the most options in that area than most brew pubs in GVL. The setting downtown is cool. Felt like I was in a friend's backyard. Heaters, umbrellas and dog friendly patio. Plenty of indoor seating as well. You order at the bar and open a tab. Awesome craft beers in a great location!! We visited a few weekends ago, along with the rest of Greenville. They have ample seating inside cooled by large overhead fans and some seating outside with corn hole boards. I loved the fire stained glass over the bar and the funky 70s decor in the hangout corner. We tried a few different beers and were fans of all of them. I was excited to see they gave a kitchen coming soon. We will definitely be back! read more

Kind of a small space and it was hard to find with the writing on the building in front ( we actually almost left because we thought they were closed). The beer was lovely, I enjoyed the Hefeweizen. Enjoyed my visit to Fireforge. It's a typical microbrew operation with a lot of beers on offer and plenty of room for patrons to find a spot and sample the wares, in or out. Fresh, quality beer but only four stars because none of the beers had that transcendent feel to them when something is truly special and grabs you. Very much recommended. read more

We tried this new local brewery recently. They have a huge outdoor space and a couple of games to enjoy while hanging out. They don't offer any food yet, but that is coming in the near future. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and helpful and can help you decide what to try and give samples. The service is good and the employees seem to really enjoy their job which creates a energetic and positive experience for their guests. I will definitely return and recommend to everyone! read more

Every time I go to visit family in Greenville, there seems to be another cool brewery open. This time we checked out Fireforge and it was great-- wonderful vibe with the stained glass and old wood and I appreciated having a parking lot next door to use! The owners came over and greeted us and you could tell they were very proud of their place. All of the beers that I tried were delicious and I appreciated the variety. The only addition that I could think of to make this place better would be some snacks behind the bar (they said they often have a food truck, but it would have been nice to snack on something).Wish that we could've visited on a day when the weather was nicer to try out the outdoor seating, but we will just have to come back. read more

This place has a great atmosphere and is going to be one of our favorite hangs, especially once the whole place is built out. I look forward to them coming into their own in their brewing. There are two small things that kept them from a five star. One, I wish they had a few lighter brews, especially for the summer (those APV are pretty big). And, they need to open before 5 on Sunday (we would try to make it worth their time) Changed from 4 to 5, as we get to be here before 5. And, they have some lighter brews. They have a wide selection of craft brews, a spacious bar to sit at, tables for groups, and a living room lounge for more intimate occasions with friends (or dates). They have taken the time to assign names to their beers (which personally I like the artistry behind that). Names include Vendetta, Fires of Helles, Buttery Beans, Metrosexual, and Luz (loose). Sonja was the bartender taking care of us and she was friendly. They have a menu consisting of snacks and a cheesecake of the week. If you're looking to eat here, pick a different place, but to enjoy some beer and cold snacks with friends, this is a great place. I'm glad we stopped in. read more

We decided to have my wife's birthday party with about 25-30 friends at Fireforge a few weeks ago so we reached out. Harvin was easy to work with and helpful in the planning. What I expected from Fireforge: a reserved table for us to drop our stuff at while we hung out What we got: the staff set up a table for our snacks, there was a set of tables with signs saying reserved for us, they wished my wife happy birthday and they did everything they could to make sure we had a great time I would give them 6 stars if I could. IMO they have the best beer in Greenville and the staff puts them over the top. I drank the Davenport, Metrosexual, and Wayward Daughter, all were delicious. read more

I spotted this place as we were pulling up to our hotel, it looked inviting. After dinner we decided to walk to Fireforge to get a drink. The place is super cozy and chill. Plenty of seating space inside and outside. Lots of beer on tap, over 24 options. The staff was friendly and let us sample a lot of beers. Great place to gather with a group of friends and get a beer. They have a solid variety of their own brews - probably the best of the local beers according to my husband. It has corn hole and ladders, making it a bit more kid friendly than most breweries. They're pet friendly (outside only) with plenty of patio space. My husband and I were in Greenville for our anniversary. I had read about Fireforge and knew it had covered patio. It was pouring rain, so we headed that way! To our surprise there was an awesome band playing from Asheville! Light fare was great! You could order online or at the bar. Tables were spaced and staff had masks and were super friendly.
