Instead of engaging we left our full beers on the counter and paid up but the bartender was to busy snipping plastic 6 pack rings to ring us up. I have never been to this "establishment". I was staying in the residential section across the parking lot. Both nights that I was there, the "HillBilly Disco" crowd was moronic and just flat out obnoxious. They would be yelling loudly up until 4 AM. A couple of drunk cows, sorry Cow Girls, went over to the Foothills Museum and rolled a steel wheel wagon onto the street and yelling about urinating in their pants. Stay classy gals!! Mongoloids yelling "Merica" while their buddy revs an obnoxiously loud hot rod to its hilt at 2AM clearly indicates that the IQ number is in the double digits. I understand blowing off steam from your job at the lumber yard but to yell like that when you see that people are in bed and trying to sleep is just flat out stupid and inconsiderate. Shame on the owner of this establishment for enabling this behavior and enforcing a "Cro- Magnon" only policy. read more

The food would probably be good if they decided to bring it out to us on time instead it was cold and nothing special. Fun place.. we came for the music/steak on Thursday. Very busy clique crowd or hayseeds and aunt Mabels the potatoes were boiled, a little odd but tasty and the steaks mid grade, nicely flavored and well priced. Cool old shot gun bar with a familiar 1900s feel. read more

A chill place to come and grab a brew. Your usual dive crowd, loggers and such from the surrounding area...They have pool tables, but they aren't very good. Very good food, at probably the best value in the area. Service is always super friendly, I always love the personable servers, occasionally they are busier than I know they are comfortable with, but they make up for that in friendliness. Wednesday night, buy any burger on the menu and get another for $1.00! Burgers are great, especially the Firehouse burger, which includes pepperoni (surprisingly good!). also very good are the hog wings (Pork ribs with a really good Thai chili sauce), and hot chicken wings. Pints are $1 to $2 less than everywhere else, with an overall decent beer selection, including a couple IPA's such as Silver City. Definitely recommended! read more

Went to hear a friend play on a Thursday, steak night. The steak looked and smelled good but I looked in the kitchen...filthy! Long haired guy cooking, no hair net. If your with the right people you can make any experience fun so it's possible to have fun here but every time I've been in here, it's packed and there isn't much room. You have to squeeze passed people most of the time and I like to have walking space. Their food and drinks are good though! One of the bartenders is rude though. read more

I have came for many times for drinks and dinner, and the food is good! Tap beers always taste flat or skunkie, and the service is friendly but very slow... Most of the time you have to walk to the bar to get served even though there are several people working. The seem to cater more towards regulars. And with service so poor I won't be a regular! read more

Moved up to Buckley around 6 years ago, and quickly learned about this being the primary local hangout. This is a great place if you want to get a feel for the town, and it's always packed. The annual Buckley Log Show on the last week of June, this is the place to go, they close the parking lot and get a couple bands to play. The Firehouse is very inconsistent. Some days, great service some days, not. The food in generally good, but often times drinks sit empty, from under staffing, or over socializing by employees. The Firehouse charges an extra dollar for a large or pounder sized glass. So, a top shelf vodka well drink costs $5.50 plus an extra dollar for the large glass. It's not a double, mind you, just a larger glass of soda?? So, a top shelf well drink runs $6.50 if you want a tall glass. Staff is generally friendly but seems to play favorites with regulars. I go in often with family and friends, food is typical bar food, drinks are good, good place to chat and sit for hours BUT the one downfall is the servers are SO RUDE to women! The obviously cater to all the men's needs for more drinks and what not but women have to sit forever for a snag water or napkin!
