    Firehouse Steak & Cheese

Service: 5 stars hands down. Sandra and her coworkers were amazing. Sandra was at the register and was so cheery and friendly. She greeted everyone with a smile and when asking for your name she thanks you for coming in. When I left she said bye Dan and that's the type of customer service a place can only dream of having. Ambience : 4 stars. Could use a remodel , but it was very clean. Food: 5 stars- food came out warm and tasted fresh. They didn't skimp of the meat or toppings. If the food was bad I would still go back just because of Sandra! Keep up the great work Firehouse Subs.

Kids and I really enjoyed our first visit. Subs are moist, juicy, tasty, flavorful and fairly sized and priced. The added pickle spear is crunchy and flavorful. It really helps that the guy helping us was just terrific. Dining space is open, well lit, and clean.

Friendly service. A nice "welcome" greeting upon entering and a "have a nice day" salutation on exit. You'll never mistake where you are when you walk in the door. Firehouse memorabilia and decor throughout. Lots of red and white and it works. Always clean and lots of tables. Order and pay at the counter. Subs and salads made while you wait. TVs above to keep your attention if you forgot your cell phone which is what captures most people's attention these days especially while we wait for something. Delicious hot and cold sub sandwiches priced a little higher than similar places but well worth it. Get the special which throws in some chips and a drink. Love the included pickle wedge. Small strip mall area with limited shared parking but there's a huge lot right there for the shopping center, so no problem.

I have given you three tries, and this is the last time! I waited 20 minutes for a stake and cheese. People came in after me and left with their food! Are you kidding me when there where only 3 costumers in the whole restaurant?

Nice pa hinting. Goes with thhe theme.

I've been trying to make it here since I moved in Phoenix but never stopped in. Tonight we made it in. The decor was nice. I didn't expect it to be so literal. I loved the uniforms hanging by the door. There was only one option for me,veggie. It includes sauteed mushrooms, onions, tomatoe, lettuce, cheese, peppers, mayo and I'm not sure if mustard. They steam and toast the bread. It was a bit messy but good. My only complaint, for a small it was a bit tiny. My other half and I were the only ones in there ordering, everyone seated were already eating, and it took quite sometime to get my sandwich. So allow time if your on a schedule so you can eat comfortably. I do like the idea that they give back to the community with the sales they make. It's kinda awesome. I think I will be back. Why? The sandwich might be better in the larger portion. Besides, I love toasted sandwiches

Absolutely amazing every time! I miss the lemons. However very consistent and I love the ice tea! Great place for a quick sandwich with all the options! I stop at this location every chance I get. Sandra is extremely sweet and really adds personal touch!

I ate the first half of my TO GO Order LARGE Engineer, February 4th 2015

Wednesday February 4th 2015. Time was at 19:25hrs ish. This establishment is always busy whenever we came either to dine in or have TO GO orders. I think Hubs favorite sandwiches is becoming to be from this establishments. Furthermore, this establishment is close by where we live. Every single time, he said, can we go here. In addition to that Hubs said, they offer MORE variety as compared to the other Sandwich establishments in town he used to go. Hence to this establishment we went "again". This time around for TO GO ORDERS are : * LARGE Engineer ($8.49) * LARGE Steamer with Wheat Bread ($8.49) * Capt. Sorensen's Datil Pepper Grilled Chicken ($5.89) Our Dinner TO GO with tax was about $24.82. Overall, Hubs like it. But this time around, if I am NOT mistaken, my order of LARGE Engineer, do not contain the Hot Pepper, when we requested for it to be in my order. *SIGH* Maybe they are swamped with the Dinner RUSH Hour. Maybe this is an isolated incident. Nevertheless, they still received 3.5 stars in our books due to the variety that they offer. The service is fast. Perhaps next time, when we return, I would rather have my order, dining in, though I can be torn about this decision. Saw that there was one on the path to the Denver airport. I could gas up the rental car and get some chow before entering the land of over priced airport food. Look the service was fine and the food was ok. But there was nothing special about the chicken fingers or the fries, or the sauce for that matter. The tenders were lacking in any real flavor on their own. They need some spice. Same with the crinkle fries. As a delivery mechanism for the Outback Bloomin Onion style sauce thats about all you could say for the main dish and side. But I didn't even use all the sauce, so paying extra for more is right out. I found it interesting that you need to ask at the counter, and get a code, to use the restroom. It looked like a nice enough area, but obviously there must be a reason for it. We're due to get some of these restaurants near me, but I don't have any reason to go back. Chick-Fil-A, KFC, Popeyes, or Savvy Sliders all offer vastly better product. This is a 3 not because of anything bad. Just wasn't anything better than 2.5 average.

As usual I placed my order in the drive-up. After paying I was given a number & pulled forward to wait. Service was friendly. After a short wait my food was brought out to the car. Since we weren't really hungry we decided to try some of their sides & a Concrete Mixer. First up was their Garden Side Salad. The ingredients were fresh & the Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing was yummy - grilled chicken was added in error. The Clam Chowder was flavorful & good, as well as the ChilI Supreme. The Concrete Mixer was tasty, however it was way too sweet but that was our fault. We mixed in too many things... Andes Mints, Butterfinger & Salted Caramel. Note, I usually get my favorite which is the North Atlantic Cod Dinner & that has always been fresh & delicious!

The cheese melted beautifully, and every ingredient tasted fresh and well-balanced. What really sets Culver's apart is consistency and overall flavor. While In-N-Out has a loyal following and delivers a solid burger, Culver's feels more substantial and satisfying. The beef has a richer taste, the toppings are fresher, and the buttered bun elevates the entire experience. In-N-Out is still a classic, but after this visit, Culver's takes the crown.
