I come to Denver almost every month for business and I've been here a couple times and both times it has not been good. The last time the bread was so skinny. It was like it was served on a hotdog roll. I don't know who's making the bread here, but you need to be fired. Friendly service. A nice "welcome" greeting upon entering and a "have a nice day" salutation on exit. You'll never mistake where you are when you walk in the door. Firehouse memorabilia and decor throughout. Lots of red and white and it works. Always clean and lots of tables. Order and pay at the counter. Subs and salads made while you wait. TVs above to keep your attention if you forgot your cell phone which is what captures most people's attention these days especially while we wait for something. Delicious hot and cold sub sandwiches priced a little higher than similar places but well worth it. Get the special which throws in some chips and a drink. Love the included pickle wedge. Small strip mall area with limited shared parking but there's a huge lot right there for the shopping center, so no problem. read more

When I walked in the people seamed friendly.so I ordered a large sandwich and the Mac and cheese which was one size and for the price they charged for it that cup should have been full but it wasn't it was about 1/2 full and almost cold and the sandwich was just mediocre and it was the new cubin club it would have been better if they made it right and put enough of the dressing on it but I felt if I said something they might have done something bad to my sandwich. I've been trying to make it here since I moved in Phoenix but never stopped in. Tonight we made it in. The decor was nice. I didn't expect it to be so literal. I loved the uniforms hanging by the door. There was only one option for me,veggie. It includes sauteed mushrooms,onions, tomatoe, lettuce,cheese,peppers,mayo and I'm not sure if mustard. They steam and toast the bread. It was a bit messy but good. My only complaint, for a small it was a bit tiny. My other half and I were the only ones in there ordering,everyone seated were already eating, and it took quite sometime to get my sandwich. So allow time if your on a schedule so you can eat comfortably. I do like the idea that they give back to the community with the sales they make. It's kinda awesome. I think I will be back. Why? Food is up to Firehouse standards, and the staff are pleasant. Unfortunately the ladies' restroom has some kind of an open grate in it that smells like a mix of hot roadkill and sewer gases. This really needs to be addressed. The music is a bit louder than ideal, but not a big problem. We will return, but not if the restroom is needed. read more

Tried their veggie sub and was pleasantly surprised. I wish they had more veg/plant based options... like a dairy free cheese and guac/avocado. The bread was good, although it did get a little soggy with the Italian dressing. Ordered via their website and it was ready as soon as I got to the shop. Ate lunch here today and the restaurant was dirty, floors, tables had trash sitting on them and the help was oblivious to what was going on. In addition to that Hubs said, they offer MORE variety as compared to the other Sandwich establishments in town he used to go. Hence to this establishment we went "again". This time around for TO GO ORDERS are : * LARGE Engineer ($8.49) * LARGE Steamer with Wheat Bread ($8.49) * Capt. Sorensen's Datil Pepper Grilled Chicken ($5.89) Our Dinner TO GO with tax was about $24.82. Overall, Hubs like it. But this time around, if I am NOT mistaken, my order of LARGE Engineer, do not contain the Hot Pepper, when we requested for it to be in my order. *SIGH* Maybe they are swamped with the Dinner RUSH Hour. Maybe this is an isolated incident. Nevertheless, they still received 3.5 stars in our books due to the variety that they offer. The service is fast. Best wishes in maneuvering around in the parking lot. It's always busy during the lunch hours. It's usually packed from 11am-2pm, so expect a little wait. The staff here is super friendly, they call your order by your name, not just a number. One of my favorite parts about this restaurant is the various selections of hot sauces that they offer for you to try. They'll give you cups to pour it into. 10 is really a 10! One big thing, try to eat it fresh, does not taste as good after 30+ minutes of take-out, so try to stay at the restaurant and eat it there. This is speaking from experiencing it two times. I've never heard of this place before but I was excited about checking it out. I was not disappointed either because the food there is pretty amazing! They have tons of bbq/hot sauce for you to try on your own too. I agree with the previous review thought that the service here is really pretty bad. It's run by a bunch of teens so it's to be expected. I recommended grabbing and go...do not eat there unless you want a loud and obnoxious dining experience. So great food, awful service. read more

Placed an order for pickup and they delivered it to another guy named James. He called me to let me know that he had my order and didn't get his. The firehouse team remade my order and never once apologized for it. On the way home, other James texted me to say to check my order because they forgot the brownie on the first order and sure enough, they forgot it on the second as well. What can I say about the Firehouse Subs. This is one of my favorite chain sandwich places around unfortunately there are not very many close to me. So whenever I get a chance to go to a firehouse when I'm out traveling around I definitely do. This is started by firemen and they are very supportive of the First Responders. And on top of that the sandwiches are incredible from the beef brisket to the turkey. The brisket just melts in your mouth. And the rolls are freshly made and very tasty they have an app that I utilize quite a bit and it has a lot of specials on it and you could earn points for free items. Their cookies are also very good along with the brownies. I love the interior with the fireman decor. It is very friendly inviting and the servers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is clean and have enough seats to enjoy a delicious sub. They have different lengths of sandwiches and also it comes with a combo of chips and a drink. We had chili there a couple of years ago and it was really really good.
