I ordered a veggie delight with dressing on the side and ordered to go. I picked the food and realized the dressing was on sandwich so I went back and requested to remake so it doesn't become soggy. They remade and skipped major ingredients. I didn't realize it till I started having it. Not going there again. Bad service. read more

we were the only people in at 1030. staff looked like they didnt want to be there, particularly the one with the face tatoos and painted nails. NO greeting, just a bored look and no eye contact. we both ordered two separate sandwiches, my friend ordered a cold sandwich and wheat bread, his order wasnt right. we literally couldnt figure out which sandwich was the one we ordered, they both looked the same, AND SURE DIDNT LOOK LIKE THE ONES ON THE MENU BOARD, mine was mostly bread, not alot of ingredients at all. the reason for 2 stars is the sauce they provide at the counter to try, tho we will not buy it cuz its 8 bucks a bottle. our meals were 27 bucks for 2 very small (we ordered medium) sandwiches and not tasty at all. weve been here 3 times cuz we wanted to give this a fair rating. Done with Firehouse for a while, a long while. What was once one of my favorites has deteriorated terribly, and rapidly, in both quality and quantity. The New York steamer has been my go-to for several years, but what little meat is now on them is tough and gristled. First experienced this at the location on Elms Spring road 2 weeks ago and thought that the issue may be location specific or just a poorly made sandwich. However, today ordered from the Bentonville location, and even worse quality. The issue seems systemic. Perhaps the number of competing sandwich shops in the area have gotten Firehouse to cut some corners, but this is not the way to keep customers. I'll let a few months pass and give them one last chance to be the great sandwich they once were. read more

So how long is too long to wait for a fresh made sub? I arrived and there was 1 other couple in the place. I waited almost 10 minutes or a meatball sub. The restaurant was clean but not busy so I assume the staffing reflects the normal traffic pattern at 7:30pm They are open until 9:00pm but as I was waiting they were rolling up the carpets at the doors and shutting up shop in the dining room. I have been in the restaurant many times during the day at lunchtime when it is well staffed and the food was great. I assume the lack of business in the evening drive this experience. Stopped in this evening to grab my husband a sub, and I was super impressed with the employees, including the manager on duty! Everyone was busting their tail and hustling! My husband specifically mentioned that the manager never stopped moving the whole tone we were there. I was also impressed with his patience with a customer in front of us. She needed a lot of help and asked a lot of questions. The manager was very kind. This Firehouse is very clean! The tables are spread out for Covid precautions. I witnessed the staff cleaning the tables frequently. They also had a table set up with hand sanitizer and cleaner. This Firehouse has a Coca-Cola freestyle machine. You can actually use your phone, by scanning a QR code, to pour your soda so you don't have to touch the machine! Pretty slick! I think that Firehouse is one of the best sub shops! They put more meat on their subs than Subway does. The bread is always super fresh and it has a great flavor. They also have a great selection of sandwiches! read more

For the most part, the food is good. Some days better than others depending on the staff facility looks clean.

Have eaten here numerous times. Always greeted when you walk in. Clean inside but I have noticed since Covid no one is bringing you your order / walking around cleaning tables. My go to is the #1 which is the hook and ladder. A little on the expensive side but the extra goes for a good cause. read more

Just picked up a salad and began to mix with the dressing and the lettuce was rotten. Diced to flip the salad int a bowl (at home) and as you can see easily 95% Of the lettuce is brown and actually rotten. Paid $9 for this absolute crap. How do you start piling meat, cheese, etc on top of disgusting lettuce and thing that's acceptable. So gross, now it's in the trash where it should of been put. read more

I have been going to Firehouse subs for years. This location isn't following the standards set. Normally I get a great portion of meat from other locations but this is no where near the what they normally are and probably had half the meat. The bread was weird too. I gave it a 4 stars because although they messed up multiple items in my order the food was still very good. I ordered online and on the salad I ordered, I removed the tomato, the bell pepper, and I added pickles, but when I got the salad it still had both those items and no pickles. I tried several times throughout the past several years to get into a Firehouse subs, they were always so busy. I finally made it at Bentonville on Sunday 3/7/2021 and have no idea how they stay busy. It was pretty good. Had the brisket and cheddar. Medium, so about 8" sandwich. I didn't add anything to it and they don't offer the veggies like Subway. Every additional item is added to the cost, which is already more than Subway. The taste was good, nothing to rave about. I guess they can stay as busy as they want, I didn't find a new spot. read more

This was a huge disaster of a place to get a sub. From the time I ordered to the time I got my sub sandwich it took 20 minutes. The 3 teens behind the counter talked more about their evening events than they were doing their jobs. Plus the sandwich was a horrible mess by the time I got back to my apartment 1/2 mile away. This is probably the biggest seating area I've ever seen at a Firehouse Sub location! That being said, it is the highlight of my experience here. With having such a large area to seat patrons I'd expect to see more room for employees to make sandwiches. I was surprised at how long the line was when I came in and how long it took for us all to grab our lunch. I must admit the staff was very friendly and professional and that is certainly a plus, but waiting 10 plus minutes is not what I'm looking for in a place like this. My sandwich was spot on and made just like I asked which is a positive for sure. I'd come back in here and grab lunch again, but if I do, I'll be sure to make sure I have plenty of time to eat instead of popping in when I'm in a hurry. read more

Was craving a sandwich for lunch today, so we came here since it was along our drive. I've seen this chain before, but have never stopped and ate here. It is pretty open and large inside so there is plenty of seating. The sandwiches are made to order. My husband had the Pork and Slaw sandwich and really liked it. I ordered a Veggie Sub which had jalapenos, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, mushroom (I did not have it, but it regularly comes with the Veggie sub), and mustard/mayo. I enjoyed mine as well. I ordered the medium size and only was able to finish half of it, so the portion was good size. My husband's came as if with a hamburger bun (not split in half). I love hot sauces and they had a large selection of hot sauces (see picture). They were all labeled on a scale of 1 to 10 for how spicy they are. Love it! Their soda machine has the option of 120+ different kinds of sodas. I'm not a soda drinker, but that is a lot to choose from! Customer service was very friendly as well and service was fast. P.S. You can buy a 5 gallon tub of pickles here fpr $2 haha. Pickles aren't my thing, but if you like pickles come here haha. read more

This is a good sub shop. It is not the cheapest place given the portion size, but the subs come to your table hot which is great. The sub was made to order as expected and had all of the toppings I'd asked for. There was plenty of seating available. read more

I have always been a fan of Firehouse Subs but I was not impressed with this location. I ordered a medium Hook and Ladder, no tomatoes on wheat bread. I waited over 14 minutes for my sandwich. I have worked in the sandwich shop business while I was in college so I knew that the lunch rush was over. At around 12 mins of waiting I got tired of sitting at the table so I walked over to the counter and I started to watch what was taking so long. While I was standing at the counter I watched the employee that was making my sandwich drop the contents of my sandwich on the cutting board and then place them on the sandwich. The employee then dropped the ham on the ground and then the employee looked up and saw me. The employee then walked over and retrieved more ham and proceeded to place the cold ham on the sandwich (the sandwich was supposed to be served warm). Once the sandwich was done the employee looked up called my name and smiled and said "sorry for the wait." Hopefully this was a one time issues with this location but I will definitely not be trying them for a very long time. I know someone will argue that they were busy but I ordered my sandwich at roughly 1:35 pm and didn't receive the sandwich until 1:49pm and they had employees sweeping and mopping around me while I sat at a table waiting. read more

Another sub shop in the area and crazy busy during the week for lunch. We had trouble finding a place to sit but it moves very quickly. Unlike Subway, they steam their hot sandwiches. Combo's run around $7 which includes chips and a drink. Most subs can be ordered "Fully Involved" = Loaded. Complete with Mayo, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and a Dill Spear on the side. The bread was good-white or wheat and meats are from Butterball, cheese from Sargento so tasty ingredients. Salads and chili as well. I'll go back. read more

Very unorganized staff. Sandwiches were so soggy and wilted couldn't even eat them. The restaurant was dirty. Very bad experience.

I am a super fan of Firehouse Subs however this location is atrocious. Its dirty. Staff arent quite Firehouse standard. Broken soap dispenser in bathroom. My husband cant even get in the men's bathroom.....and we are the only people in here...hmmm...ive gotten my drink....been to the restroom to wash my hands....and written this review....ah, just got my food put on the table with nothing said at all...someone should really look into this location. I ordered deal dash for your store and after waiting a hour for my order called Firehouse and The MANAGER(at that) I could hear talking in the background about how its not her problem and she didn't care. After telling her she was very unprofessional and she should have handled it better(learning to mute a phone maybe) and that I was calling Corporate I hung up, she chose to make it worse by calling me back and harassing me about calling corporate and telling me to get my story straight before I called! read more
