We came in for lunch. We got greeted right when we walked in. Decided to cut our large sandwich into 3 sections. The person taking our order was super friendly. We also ordered some Mac and Cheese and cookies. Our food took about 10 minutes to be ready. My daughter got up to get the food not realizing that they put each halves in baskets. My daughter has tremors in her left hand due to a brain injury. I was about to get up but the worker behind the counter grabbed the other baskets and came around and delivered them to our table. That was very considerate of him. Each basket even had a pickle slice. The tuna sandwich was amazing with plenty of tuna. My mother loved the Mac and Cheese. The place was very clean and an employee came by and took our dirty items. We will definitely come back.! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I decided to go through the drive thru because I only needed one sandwich and a bowl of chili. There was one car at the window and one in front of me. I was in the drive thru lane for 45 minutes! At first the wait didn't bother me because I didn't know the size of the orders in front of me. 30 minutes later and I was finally at the window. I figured I would get my one sandwich quickly, but no another 15 minutes go by, when the gal finally comes to the window I am frustrated and asked what the problem was, I only ordered one sandwich why the delay? She was very apologetic and said that they are all under 18! I don't understand what that had to do with it. Then I finally get my sandwich home and it was not what I ordered. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch with no mayo. I received a sandwich with either pastrami or corn beef loaded with mayo. It was so disgusting I couldn't eat it! Unfortunately, I hate to give a poor review, but today things just weren't quite right. I ordered a small pastrami sandwich with deli mustard and provolone cheese. Requested no tomato, mayo, lettuce or onion. When I got home it had all that I requested NOT to have, no deli mustard and no cheese. The other order was a ham sandwich with no onion and no mayo and requested spicy mustard. No mustard and loaded with mayo. Training was happening at the time and I think it was very bad timing and not helping the cashier on how to input the orders correctly. Too expensive to get sandwiches that aren't made correctly. Our first time we were happy but this time, not so much. Hopefully training goes better and they can get their act together. read more

The fire house in Gardnerville has the best French fries but the Carson city one didn't. The other day I went to the Carson city store after not going there for awhile and the had a big sign saying add fries to your combo. I was happy to see they had fries now but when I ordered and said add fries they said they don't have fries. Why put a big sign saying add fries to your order and not have them. I fell in love with their engineer sub! The combination of turkey, mushrooms , cheese, and onions is perfect! I have tried other subs as well and was very pleased. The subs are pricey, but worth it! We are monster fans of Firehouse subs on William in Carson City. Their sandwiches are both tasty and filling. Prices are extremely reasonable and they do contribute back to the community. Did you know they donate a percentage of the profits toward providing the lifesaving equipment and needed resources to first responders and public safety personnel? I really like that you have the option of a small, medium or large sub. Some days I'm hungrier than others. My go-to is the Firehouse Steak & Cheese. They sauté the steak, onions and peppers; Add provolone and mayo/mustard and wrap it up. A bowl of chili with crackers and a Powerade and I'm stuffed! On days where I'm daring and throwing caution to the wind, it's the New York Steamer. My goodness, corned beef, pastrami, cheese and the Italian dressing/mayo/mustard on a wheat bun. The restaurant still looks new and the tables, bathrooms and drink stand are kept clean. You can sit high or low and there's usually a game on the big screen. We've always had fantastic service. I was on my way to catch a movie at 12:35, on April 25,2025 when my husband and I went to the drive thru to get a couple of sandwiches, no one was in line which was nice for a change because it usually take for ever to go thru the drive thru here in monden, I told the nice kid taking the order to please make sure that i had a pickle in my order because the prior order did not have a pickle, when i got the order my husband paid cash and did not get a reciept for the two sandwiches, when i went to grab my sandwich box to eat it felt heavy and when i open it this is what i got, my safwich was soggy and 9 pickles stacked on top of my small sandwich which i order hot but it was cold and wet. I called from the theater and asked for a manager but there was none on duty, and a kid answered by the name of Ruben who said he was in charge. So i am reporting this to corporate , they need to teach these kids some manners on how to treat their customers specially elderly people. There are comfortable tables for eat in. I did enjoy an oatmeal cookie on one visit. There is a drive through but I prefer to go inside. Service here yesterday was HORRIBLE. During an unbusy time, went in to get 3 subs. After 1 hr of waiting, was asked what we were having, which was ordered in store and paid for an hour previous. When I repeated the order the manager, he said "Oh yeah I remember that order". But it hadn't been made. He said they would make it right away and gave us 3 cookies for the trouble. Still had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for them to make it. It seems their priority is drive thru and not in store to go orders. Lesson learned. read more

I ordered the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket, by the time I go home the entire bottom of the container was soaked in some sort of greasy liquid. There was so much, the bottom slice of bread was soaked and soggy. My wife had the Thanksgiving sandwich and was very pleased. I guess you win some and loose some. On the positive, service was great. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak - yeah, I'm going to flash my Cheeseteak Expert Badge because I grew up in the shadows of Philly and worked there for many years. I know a good cheesesteak and this one was just... okay. First of all, I wasn't a fan of the bread. I prefer a crustier outside to the baguette (purists prefer Amoroso style bread). As for the cheesesteak itself, it came with mushrooms, green bell peppers and onions. A little light on the cheese itself (PROVOLONE, if you must ask). I try not to salt my food at all, but there was so little flavor from the meat itself that I just had to add salt to the sandwich - a rarity for me. PRO TIP and NOTE TO SELF: Next time you order a cheesesteak anywhere, ask if the mushroom are CANNED or fresh. I want fresh mushrooms. Nearly $12 got a large soda (had I known the cup was that huge, I would've asked for a smaller size, honestly), a bag of chips and the sandwich. Love the concept and friendliness of the place. Lousy service. Drove up for a sub and a salad. Drove away to find a shady spot to eat in and discovered, no napkins, nothing to eat the salad with, and no dressing on the salad. I walked back in to get a fork and napkins and had not yet discovered the salad had no dressing. We'd ordered honey mustard. When I told the counter person we needed a fork and napkins, he giggled.
