Coffee and sandwiches, steps from the main beach. Central Market has a little something for everyone: a solid beer selection, snacks, and of course their made-to-order sandwiches and coffee. We had coffee in the morning and sandwiches for lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There's also bar seating inside along the window if you want to people-watch, or you can do it from the outside patio out front. I can see this being a popular spot with locals and visitors alike. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the coffee was great.

Cute little shop located in central Kingsbeach. The hardest working woman I've seen running this place. We were passing by and decided to have dinner by the lake and walk across the street with our sandwiches and fruit. They serve pre-made sandwiches that are made daily, made to order items, and fresh pressed juices. Do note that they stop service at the counter at 5 and their time is a bit earlier than ours. We picked up what they had made for the day. Fruit cups, tajin and half sandwiches. They're a bit pricey for half sandwiches, but were good. Don't forget your condiments, some are equipped with them. I'll definitely stop in again next time I'm in Kingsbeach.

The food was really good. The sandwich was phenomenal. we decided to order another one. The sandwich was really good but one person from our group ordered the sandwich first and was charged $17.95 second person who ordered it was charged $18.95 (same sandwich). Not sure why but we just felt that was a little odd sandwich was great though it's a cute little market. would come back again some of us said it was the best sandwich we've ever had would pay more than 18.95 lol

This is the Pier across the street from Tahoe Central Market.

Hello Yelpers and Foodies in the know. Tahoe Central Market is directly across the street from Lake Tahoe and the Market has a great sandwich shop inside the market. The Deli meat is Boars Head Brand and is my favorite. I ordered Two Sandwiches and Crafted Potato Chips along with soft drinks. The employees have a great attitude and professional service along with a lot of positivity. The market has many things to choose from including chess and meat trays ready to go for fast takeout. They have specialty items like drinks, chips, salads and great sandwiches. Tahoe Central Market is a great place with a perfect location. Parking is on the street and across the street. Well Worth The Stop. Thank You for Reading. Reviews help Consumers.

Um, not sure why this is listed as only one $ on Yelp. The sandwiches cost like $25, even before tax and tip.

We agreed that the Cuban took the cake but both had lots of flavor to offer. Then for our sweet tooth, the cowboy cookie & oatmeal cranberry toffee cookie. Both were delicious, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. S E R V I C E Great! Quick, efficient and we got our food out pretty quick considering the lines were crazy at that time. If a patron tells you they lost their credit card it's likely they're in distress. And if someone is looking unhappy (or just seems that way) it could simply be that circumstances "caught up to them" on that one or two days you saw them in your store. Treating them like shit because they're in trouble is aweful in my opinion. Just one person there doing that, but she seems to be everywere there. Definitely not cool. Not the owner/manager. That person seems very professional, efficient and smart. Great place, but don't expect to think they care about you even if you spend a lot of money and keep to yourself. Not all of us are able to relax and have fun. Some of us, through no fault of our own, are in need of food and a break and a place to figure our next moves. It's not our fault that you are the only place nearby with food and internet!

I asked if they did half sandwiches in an effort to keep my calorie consumption to a reasonable level. They said yes we do make half sandwich sandwiches.. that was awesome but also the homemade banana bread said calories don't count - and a little "eat me" sign was floating above the banana bread visible only to me of course. I ended up getting half the Bart attack on sliced marble rye, and a corner piece of the chocolate chip banana bread. I ate it outside the patio, adorable tables and umbrellas. Such a gorgeous break from driving and eat something so delicious. It was like my grandma made it, full of love and flavor! The little store inside has everything that you might need from medicine to drink to freeze dried candy and homemade baked goods. However, my current opinion stands as mediocre at best. Ambience is cozy and old-school, borderline needing a deep clean. I ordered the Lumaconi, it tasted fine. But one of the problems with this restaurant is how the food is plated and presented. You can see from most pictures that it lacks visual appeal. My sister ordered the lasagna. It was interesting that the meat inside was a sliced meatball. I don't know what to say about that. Lastly, my niece ordered Angel hair pasta. I would venture to guess that they boiled a whole box and dumped that same portion into her bowl. Way too much pasta and lacking balance with the few scattered tomatoes and protein, of what looked to be a boiled chicken breast. Wishing we could have visited here in its prime. If you visit, you definitely won't be dazzled, but it's possible that you might not be disappointed.
