I placed an order via Firehouse Subs app today and unbeknownst to me the order was sent to the Dublin and powers location because they use Uber Eats for delivery. The Firehouse app does not specify this. The Falcon location DOES NOT DELIVER unless you order through the delivery services directly. On the Firehouse Subs App I was queried for a delivery tip before being able to complete the order, so I did. BIG MISTAKE! Not only was my food order placed further away, I can't get the delivery tip refunded via the app and had to jump through hoops to get the missing sandwich and chips from my 4 sandwich order refunded. She added on an extra $5 because Uber charges more for the sandwich's (in addition to the delivery fee) than the store does if you go through the Firehouse app to order delivery. The manager at the Dublin location said Uber Eats steals food all the time from their orders and they get called and yelled at by customers because of it. This manager packed my 4 sandwich order herself and knows for a fact it was 100% complete. After getting off the phone with them I called Uber Eats for the tip refund, only to be told they require the alpha numeric order number Firehouse sends to them to locate and refund the tip. They had a few signs warning of being short staffed and long wait times, but we didn't experience that at all. The food came out very quickly, and we didn't even wait in a long like to order. I ordered the medium Italian sub on white bread, this is my favorite sandwich of theirs. It's sweet and tangy. The Italian sauce they have is beyond amazing and makes this the best Italian sub I've ever had. They heat all the sandwichs up and never over toast the bread. I like the cips options they had, so many to pick from, and the soda machine had so many different options. I liked the amount of diet soda options available. My husband is a huge fan of FireHouse Subs. We were in town to run some errands and decided to stop in the get sandwiches to take home. I ordered on the app to pick up which is so convenient. You can order your sandwiches just the way you like them. It was an easy process to order online. Our food was ready earlier than the app quoted which was convenient. That is when things changed. My husband went inside the store to pick up the order. There was no greeting which my husband said was strange. No one looked up when he said Hello first to the employees. He said he yelled it again and finally got a response from one person. He said this wasn't normal. I don't know about the ambiance of the restaurant or eating area since my husband said he didn't look around because he didn't feel welcomed. We live outside of town so we didn't realize anything was wrong with our sandwiches until we got home. We both ordered the Italian Subs. This is where it went even more wrong. I ordered a small and my husband ordered a large. Our preferences were switched. The things I ordered were on the large and what he ordered were on the small. No big deal to switch you say except I asked for no mayo and the large one had 1/2 bottle worth on it. Mayo doesn't agree with me. My husband is allergic to olives and the large was full of olives mixed with the mayo. I understand things happen and go wrong but these mistakes were either done on purpose or the employees don't care enough to make things the way people ask. I called and talked to McKenzie the manager. She was very nice and helpful. She told me she will talk with her team and find out what went wrong. I am confident McKenzie will have things straightened out. I am looking forward to trying the sandwich at a later date. read more

We waited over 30 mins for 2 sandwiches, when there wasn't even a lunch rush or very many people ahead of us. So I'll start out saying when they do things right, I like Firehouse's subs. The subs are flavorful, the bread is fresh and I leave satisfied. The problem comes if you tend to make some modifications to your order; more often than not, there will be a mistake (at least that's our experience). My wife orders a turkey & Swiss sub plain (just the meat & cheese). We make that very clear to the order taker, sometimes that person doesn't punch it in right, other times the folks who put it together don't read the order (I guess). The last three visits we have had to send it back. Once no cheese, the others it was loaded with toppings (including today ). We always tell them no pickle anywhere on the plate. it's hit and miss if they will catch that. (but today they did see it :-). For other times, what if I had some strange pickle allergy? (But no, I just hate them) They are pretty busy with "door dash". For me I would not use that service here if you tend to customize your subs (based on my in store experience). As I said, I like the subs they make but during my visits, order mistakes seem common (they will always replace it when we speak up, but by then one of us is done eating while the other waits for the replacement). This makes my wife say let's go to subway's instead and we all know who the boss is :-) These problems don't seem to relate to if they are busy or not, lots of staff working or a few. Seem to me more training is needed towards creating/watching/reading the ticket versus maybe just being on auto-pilot So there you go, if you go and order a sub straight off the menu I think you will like it. A slightly special order your mileage may vary. So two stars for Firehouse and 5 stars for you if you got to the end of this review! read more

This is not only the worst Firehouse I've ever been to, but easily the worst fast food restaurant I've been to. As much as I despise this place, my wife somehow keeps talking me into going back. After 4 visits, they've literally messed up every single order. My first visit - they forgot to make it and I waited for over 20 minutes before somebody asked why I was waiting. The manager not only didn't care, but offered to do absolutely nothing to correct the mistake. Second visit, forgot cheese on wife's sandwich. Third visit, kids meal had no drink and no treat. If you're searching for a good sub, this is not the place. Today my order to go was missing four ingredients I had requested be on the sandwich . I had to go all the way back to ask for all that was missed. I was given a hard time by the person behind the counter for wanting salt and ended up leaving without it because he was getting so upset over my wanting the salt that was originally ordered. The sandwich itself was tasteless. I got a smoked Turkey., could not taste any smoke at all and it was practically ground in the slicing process. Everything else was subpar and flavorless. Pretty sure the workers are not friendly to noncaucasians. Hubs and I came in, no greeting. Hubs and I left, crickets. 3 other people/groups came in after us, at least 1 worker said "welcome to Firehouse" to every single one of them and said "have a good one/night" to the others who left. There was only 1 other family of 4 seated, eating their food when we came in and there were no online orders waiting to be picked up other than the one we ordered and ate in. Worst food service I have ever gotten. I went in at 4pm to an empty store. Three employees were lazing around with nothing to do. Thought this would mean I would get my subs ordered and out within 5-10 minutes. Right? Wrong. First off the guy who took my order proceeded to regale me with his encounter with the customer before me and how he was called a heroin addict by said customer for forgetting a pickle spear. Totally awkward and unnecessarily detailed. Like wtf. Honestly I'm with that customer on this. Dude must be using, because after I FINALLY checked out, ALL THREE employees just wandered off to the back kitchen area to yuk it up. I was standing in a completely empty store for at least 10-15 minutes with no one working on my order! I could hear the employees talking about the "heroin comment" customer and how "Mackenzie" the manager would've chewed his head off. Honestly hope this Mackenzie fires these people for their utter disregard for customer service. I will say that the trainee, the girl, did her best after another customer came in to order to fulfill those orders. Yes, a "first day on the job" trainee tried to make three sandwich orders by herself without instruction because her two male counterparts/trainers couldn't be bothered. The location is convenient, parking is almost adequate, the outside is decorated pleasingly, inside was bright, colorful, clean & tidy, the employees were friendly, food was very delicious and served hot (steak & cheese sub), but it took 10 minutes for it to be made and served to me at my table. Be careful if you use their online web ordering ! I ordered 3 subs and brownies to be ready at 5:20pm. I arrived at 5:20pm and was rudely instructed to grab my bag that was just sitting out in the open where anyone could touch it. Once I got home, the three subs were ice cold and they forgot the brownies. It was obvious that they made the order as soon as we placed it online. When I called the store about the missing items, I was told that "I should have known to grab the brownies on the shelf". We threw all the food away and had to go somewhere else. I asked for a refund, but were told that since it was an on-line order that they are unable to process the refund. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. I ordered on-line on memorial day. My first order came back with a error stating to resubmit the order. I resubmitted the order adding a small turkey back ranch to the order. I came to the store pick up my order I returned home and realize I am missing the small sub I added on. I then call the store and request to speak to a manager about obtaining my small sub. The manager was very rude and condescending and stated "if I want a small I will have to pay for it." Implying I was trying to get something for free. I notified her that I have a receipt stating I did pay for a small sandwich. She stated I'm looking at you receipt and you never ordered a small sandwich. I drive back to the store and show the manager my receipt and she refuses to apologize for her poor customer service. In fact after discovering I was double charged for the order they manager and crew member refused to refund my money and then threatened to have the police called on me. I want to be clear. This whole issue is about a $5 sandwich. Which I hope firehouse gives their employees the autonomy to make the situation right in stores right especially if the loss to the business is so insignificant. I was clearly double charged and as a Black man I truly don't appreciate being threatened to have the police called on my because I asked for a refund. I handled my end of the bargain I ordered and paid willingly. However, instead of giving me a refund your store members and manager thought it was better to argue, antagonize and make fun of me and my wife for being charged twice. I have been to the store three times for a a refund and have called the district manager Sammy at the Austin Bluff branch to help with the matter but have yet to hear back from him. read more

We ate lunch here as a family and had the best experience! I ordered a chicken breast sub for my daughter and a veggie sub for me. When the sandwiches came out I realized that the order was received wrong and we got a turkey sandwich instead of chicken. The manager quickly took care of it. When he brought out the right sandwich he noticed that I had picked the cheese off of my veggie sandwich. I am dairy free and didn't realize that cheese came standard on even the veggie sandwich. The employees here need to worry about making sandwiches and not if someone is wearing a mask the way they " the employees " feel they should. They are very confrontational in how they approach people not wearing the mask the way they feel it should be. There attitude is wear it like I say or get out. I went to this location today ( June 15th, 2021). When I walked in there were 4 employees in restaurant (including the manager), no one said a single word to me or looked at me. I looked at the manager (thinking they weren't open yet or something) and said "are y'all open". He looked at me with an unfriendly face and only said "ya" in response. I did a grub hub order, I ordered a kids meal and you are supposed to get a firefighter helmet with the meal. I did not get one. My kid is extremely upset. I contacted the grub hub customer service and they said the restaurant will not do anything, because the helmet is "free". The kids meal is $7.00, the helmet is definitely included in the price.
