Service is EXTREMELY slow even when not busy. Three workers talking more making sandwiches. From my observation, one person made one sandwich at a time, then passed it to the next person who passed it to the next person. Extremely inefficient operation. read more

Horrible! 5 people behind the counter, the place was empty, and our order (2 sandwiches) took 30 minutes to make. Not to mention they were made incorrectly. Not happy with my food today 11/11/25. I ordered the meatball marinara to try something new. I requested green bell peppers on it which I received plenty. When we got home to eat. There was barely any marina sauce. It felt like I was just eating bread, meatballs, dry cheese and bell peppers. It was dry. A little enthusiasm goes a long way, and a smile every once in a while wouldn't hurt either. Don't get me wrong--the sandwiches are good. I've always liked Firehouse for their quality subs, and this visit was no different in terms of food. My wife and I enjoyed our meals, but the atmosphere? Total letdown. It felt like I walked into a factory instead of a friendly sandwich shop. The server wouldn't even crack a smile, and the overall mood was just drab. We placed an online order for pickup at a certain time. Came into store at exactly that time and even though the store was empty of customers, they had not even started our order . We had to wait and additional 35 minutes for them to make !!!!!? Then, we found out the sub was made incorrectly and had mayo on it which we cannot eat. Very slow service. Waited 30+ mins for 2 subs. They did not apologize to someone that had an online order, waited 15 mins when they arrived and still got it wrong. The food was okay. I've had much better food from this restaurant franchise. This one has to be the worst. We order our subs at the same time. My husband's sub came to the table 10 minutes before mine. He was half way through his meal before I even got mine. To say the least I was not impressed by this location. It's definitely a hit or miss but I'm updating my review because they upgraded their service by far! Yuck! My sub was ok, but they were busy and obviously so overwhelmed they can't check their dates. As I was throwing away my already eaten bag of chips, I noticed they were a month expired. I told the cashier, who was also the manager and she seemed unconcerned. She tasted one and said, oh they are just a little stale, leaving plenty of bags on the shelf for more customers to eat. Yuck! We got to firehouse before 8:30. They close at 9:00. Every chair in the restaurant was upside down on every table. There was no place to sit. We actually thought they were closed when we saw the chairs. But then saw the open sign so went in. The food was mediocre. I wonder what the owner/owners of the restaurant would think if they knew.
