This was my first time eating at firehouse and overall it was a good experience. We ordered our food online through the store and went and picked it up. Our sandwiches were hot and they tasted good, but the ham sandwich was a little smaller than I was thinking it would be. If you're not a fan of having to place your own order on a kiosk inside then this is not the place for you. It wasn't a bad experience, but wasn't anything special either. read more

Ok, wanted to try something different for lunch. I ordered the New York Steamer. Mostly bread and didn't like all the mayo. I only ate half of the med I ordered. So left hungry and needing something to get Mayo taste out. Husband ordered the steak n cheese and said just ok. Now place seemed clean enough. Service was depressing. No how are you , thank you, or even ____. Lol Saw 2 workers, with the one taking order older but no reason to not be friendly. Oh, Upon leaving I did hear a Thank you muffled through the mask. Walked in and was very excited to get a sandwich and some pickles. Went up to the register and saw guess what...not a smile...a frown. Now, I know that working in customer service sucks, but there is no need to be rude to the person trying to order a sandwich. The cashier was Austen and they were just not very nice. Stopped by here for the first time today. I ordered The Engineer Sandwich with a cup of chicken and dumplings as a side. The Sandwich which had turkey, mushrooms and onions was pretty good It reminded me of Scholtskys' sandwiches. They have the sandwiches in small, medium and large with white or wheat bread. I have to say I really liked the sandwich. It was heated and not toasted. It had melted cheese as well. The sandwich was soft and moist. It was very delicious. The chicken and dumpling soup was ok but not as good as the sandwich. It was heated good but a bit salty. So I will probably not get the soup the next time and get chips. The restaurant is set up similar to a Fire Department. The colors and overall appearance was nice. The service was good too. The server brought your food to the table. I ordered the hook and ladder medium just how it comes to go, when I got to where I was going, I got out my sandwich only to see that I had no tomato no mustard and one small sliver of onion on the whole sandwich. Firehouse is by far my favorite sandwich place. I love their bread, and for me, a good sub is all about the bread! I also love me some Capt. Sorenson's sauce!! They have a basic menu, subs, soup, chili... and basic is fine as long as you do it well, and they do. Will not be back! Completed mobile order, went in to pick up with only one table with guests dining without masks. When, who I assume was the manager, brought me my order she advised me I needed a mask (the mask mandate has expired & we were keeping our distance) I asked for our drinks & she again said I needed a mask so I stated we would not be back. She took my to-go order & refunded our purchase. We were not the only couple that was denied service for no mask. They also stated as they walked out they wouldn't be back either. This is not the first time the manager & staff have been rude & very inefficient even before Covid. Now I know why this location is never very busy! read more

Normally, I am very happy with this place. However, I noticed an issue with my order from DoorDash. The Dasher did not check it and the restaurant seemed to not care about this mistake. I called Firehouse Subs located at 2301 S. Douglas Blvd, Suite 101 in Midwest City, Oklahoma at 7:02 PM on Sunday, March 25th and placed an order for 1 Club on a Sub, 1 Firehouse Meatball, 1 Engineer and 1 Firehouse Hero. I was asked when I would like to pick up my order and said 20 minutes. I arrived at 7:24 PM. I paid for my order and since there were 6 other people waiting on to-go orders and 4 or 5 tables that had not been served I figured it might take longer than advertised. I waited an hour and asked about my order. They 'lost' the ticket. Of course some of the workers smirked when that was announced. How they lose a ticket in a computer system I have no idea. I demanded the charges be reversed on my credit card and left at 8:24 PM. I wanted no more of their BS. I have never been so angry and humiliated before in my life. The inability of this location to fill an order for four sandwiches is unacceptable. The behavior of some of the workers was appalling. The manager on duty should be fired. The location should be shut down until the employees have been retrained and understand what actual customer service should entail. I'll never return to this or any other Firehouse Subs location. read more

I don't think anyone here has more then a 3 red grade education. We waited 50 min did 2 sub's. and when we asked for our money back they said oh well are making them right now. Then a couple min later asked what we had ordered. If they was making it wouldn't they know the order. So I told them what my order was and showed him the receipt. I love Firehouse subs but this one is terrible. Tables, floors, drink station were dirty. The drink machine was out of most drinks. The tea was empty. Service was ridiculously slow. There was a step ladder in the middle of the floor and a bottle of cleaner and washcloth on the counter. Very disappointed in Firehouse Subs after this visit. read more

I really enjoy firehouse however after several visits I will no longer eat at the MWC location very poor service has no idea what customer service is and no clue on how to attain it, slow service, constant mistakes with orders and management staff at night just are not friendly even the owner wasn't very friendly.Shame this place is being ran into the ground before it even has a chance.Service is just not worth the cost of the subs. read more
