Their front cases were completely empty. Not one item and the store was not busy with customers. We were told they didn't have any right now. We drove in specifically for several items and couldn't really even get information about the product we were wanting. This is the week before Christmas, so I would think planning ahead would be beneficial. The lady at the counter could not tell us when they would have more but asked us if we wanted to wait for some? But couldn't tell us how long the wait would be... So clearly we're not waiting. We were going to order lunch there, but opted out. This place has such nostalgic reputation and has been in business since 1957 and I remember eating ham from here as a child in the 70s. It's sad to see one location ruin this reputation. A few beautiful fat slices of banana bread were wrapped and waiting at the register. The prices here tend to be higher but I've found their ingredients quality *consistently* and appreciably higher than other sandwich shops.
