Very clean and attentive customer service workers. The pink lemonade is a must! Food came out in a timely manner. And very well cooked. The only downfall was. The screens were a little glitched and messed up but the menus were at the registers and the clerk was helpful with my questions .

I am always stopping at this location when I drive thru New Braunfels because of the drive thru window! It's one of the only few location that has a drive thru window! I'm giving my review a 4 stars because they always forget to add the pickle in the Togo bag or the middle of sandwich is still cold. I'm a huge fan of their garden fresh Turkey and strawberry lemonade! The baked potato's are always fresh and loved the potato soup. My favorite go to side is the Mac and cheese. The chocolate chip cookies are yummy too! There are lots of great choices to choose from and sign up for the rewards program to get points! Don't forget to check you for your pickle!

The quality in food has gone way down lately. I got a choose 2 with a French dip and potato soup to go. Potato soup was decent. The French dip was horrible. The roast beef was so overdone along with the baguette. The only thing good was the au jus sauce to dip it in. Couldn't finish it and will not be coming back again.

Great Lunch with tons of flavor and great customer service! Will definitely visit this location again.

Dusty Apparent that things are NOT wiped down regularly.

I ordered ahead and still had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes. Then, I got my food and the potato soup is tasteless. Just blah....

Very slow the food was good but had to wait a long time. The bathroom wasn't very pretty and the faucet was spiting hard.

Take a look at Google Review where they are a 4.2 and Open Table (the truest restaurant ranking out there) have them at a whopping 4.8 star review! Anyway, this place is awesome. I took my son and brand new daughter-in-law, her parents and other very close friends there this past Friday and must say everything was perfectly beautiful. I called the day before and spoke with whom I believe is the manager named Kim and she assisted me with a larger than normal reservation. When we arrived Friday at 7 PM the staff was absolutely fantastic in assisting us with our reservation. After a celebratory bottle of champagne we all had appetizers and everyone had different main dish and deserts, everyone thought their food was over the top excellent. I wish I knew what our server's name was because she did such an outstanding job, kudos to her, she was great. The ambience there is unbelievable. Just a real cool place to go to. Their food style is upscale Cajun cuisine. If you haven't eaten here, I suggest you go real soon. If you kinda like Maca-whos? there in New Braunfels your gonna really love this place.

WOW! bright green, tender, not overcooked leaves with a light cream sauce. i passed it around and everyone LOVED it! another surprisingly yummy bite was the chicken tenders! they got passed around too, moist, tender and very tasty. salads that passed by looked delicious and fresh! not your usual leafy dishes. we did have to ask for drink refills although there werent many tables. bills arrived & onion rings had been divided amongst us - appreciate they can do that, but friend had asked for them to be added to her bill. i was also charged $2 for my spinach. server again said it was his fault (not noting sub) and offered to remove it. but apparently there was an upcharge, which is fine, but note on menu or have server inform. but since all are listed as fries with no separate pricing - it looks like they are interchangeable. it wasnt a bad meal but at $45 plus tip, i left feeling like i had a fried basket experience at a premium price. i told myself i'd pay $20 for the spinach so...

HOWEVER, I am always open to being proved wrong, which I was. When they didn't know the answer to the million questions we had they got it for us from the kitchen staff or manager. Zero pretension. All the kindness. I can't remember what we ordered; we ordered at least half the menu. Every single dish was amazing. We will for sure be back sans boomers for many date nights to come.

The waitstaff is wonderful and everyone is so nice. I get the same dishes every single time because I know they are very good...the hummus and their bread is amazing! Caesar is also super good every time. We love getting the meatballs and the shrimp dish...the shrimp one is probably my favorite item on the menu. I don't even love wine but the wines I have had there are great! The only cons I do have to say are I wish the menu had more options or when there are specials it's more than one day before they sell out. I LOVE tiramisu and that's the one dessert they do have but I've only been able to order it once because every other time they are sold out and I understand you run out but then there needs to be a second or third option to choose from. I look forward to ordering the tiramisu every time and I haven't been able to in months because they never have it. This is one of my go to places when I do eat out here and I'm happy with getting the same dishes over and over because they are good but I am interested and excited to see what else they add to the menu in the future!!

And yet, I keep coming back and eating more burgers - that's how good they are. The Big Juicy is a classic and you can dress it up however you wish. I love how my tator tots and fried okra are always served piping hot, like they just came out of the fryer and they haven't been sitting under a heat lamp in the back of the kitchen. And they are always so crispy - I assume they change the fryer oil frequently or they must clean it really well. I have a bone to pick with their chicken fried steak. In the land of great CFS, they shouldn't serve one that had been in the freezer a few moments earlier. In this part of the country, it's hand-breaded or nothing. Having said that, it's not bad, just not as good as it could or should be. Their club sandwich reminds me of one my grandmother used to make for me when I was a kid - perfectly toasted bread and no scrimping on the meat and cheese. Longhorn Café is more or less high quality fast food, but don't expect super quick service. Sometimes it can take 10 minutes for your order to come out. Either everyone parked at Texas Tea or something was going on, like a power outage. So we headed to Texas Bistro instead. He ordered the Bistro Burger, and I went for the Bistro Pasta with chicken added. The pasta was delicious. Even with all the ingredients -- linguine, asparagus, sweet peas, tomatoes, spinach, parmesan, citrus cream sauce, and crispy prosciutto -- the flavor was delicate and not overpowering. Really well balanced. Overall, it's a great new addition to the area with solid dishes and a menu that feels thoughtful. I'm glad they opened, and I'm looking forward to going back.

I have been to this restaurant several times before and it has always been one of my favorites. The…read moredrinks were amazing and the food was consistently great. Last night I finally brought my husband to try it after hyping it up for so long, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Things have definitely changed. I was really looking forward to the chicken fried chicken, only to find out they were completely out of mashed potatoes. For a place known for chicken, that was surprising. So I ended up just sharing some of my husband's meal and our appetizer. The cornbread has always been something I rave about, especially with their hot honey. This time it came out dry, and the hot honey had no heat at all. It just was not the same. My husband's fried chicken was honestly the worst part. It was burnt, with a layer of black under the breading, and tasted like it had been overcooked to the point of being charred. There is no way the kitchen did not see how dark it was before serving it. That said, his sides were still great, so at least part of the meal was enjoyable. Our friend's chicken sandwich was not terrible, but it did not taste fresh like it used to. It felt more like something frozen and heavily breaded instead of the quality we had experienced before. One positive was the service. Our server was wonderful, and the rest of the staff was kind and attentive as well. I accidentally spilled my drink right after it arrived, and they were quick and gracious to replace it even though it was completely my fault. That was very much appreciated. The other issue that really took away from the experience was the atmosphere. Halfway through our meal, a large group of adults sat in the courtyard and had their children sit separately at a table right next to us, while their parents remained in another section of the patio. The kids were clearly having fun and playing games, which is great, but they were also very loud and screaming just a foot away from our table while their parents enjoyed quiet drinks elsewhere. There were completely open sections of the patio farther away where they could have sat, so it was frustrating that they were placed right next to the only other table of adults trying to enjoy a night out. It ended up being very disruptive and took away from what we had hoped would be a relaxing evening. Overall, I was really disappointed. This used to be a place I highly recommended, but after this visit it feels like the quality and attention to detail have slipped. I truly hope they can get back to what made them so great before.
