Cashier was very helpful. Gave me some suggestions for a ham sandwich. Clean restaurant. Very busy. Easy process. Lots to choose from tomato basil soup . Chefs kiss. And the Carmela is delicious!

I was going to get Ike's delivered but went for Jason's deli b/c their fees are cheaper even though they're farther away from me.

A-ok! Ma surprised me with a cup of tortilla soup which was tasty and spicier than I expected (based on my parents' proclivities). It was delightful to open the bag to find 2 packs of crackers, a spoon, and a mint; I know my parents didn't request any of that. They ran a couple errands between lunch and seeing me, but the soup was still warm and well sealed (some containers lend themselves to unfortunate mess). Nice chunks of tomatoes/peppers and corn, didn't notice any decorative tortilla strips but it's not impossible they sank in the wait time. I should have stirred it up before eating as all the chicken hid at the bottom. Broth's on the creamier side of tortilla soups I've had and was altogether very tasty. I peeked at the menu earlier and this cup serving is $6 before tax/tip, More expensive than Subway with better ingredients and friendlier service. They have a reasonably varied deli menu which is balanced with affordability and comfortable predictability. When we dine in at their request, my boomer parents have lots of company. It's at one of my least favorite intersections in town, but there is always ample parking.

Excellent healthy options here. The service was great and lots of clean seating available.

Running around as usual but had time for more the. A drive through. So we stopped to pick up sandwiches. Hubby had the Ruben and I had the beefeater. Both were good with plenty of meat and condiments. I asked for no mayo and there wasn't any. The staff were nice and fast. We will be back.

Serves up good food at descent prices! I always enjoy coming to Jason's Deli because I know I'm going to get good food at low prices. This was no exception. My wife ordered the baked potato and got the potato that ate Cleveland! Butter, cheese, and bacon... it was enough for her and my oldest to share! My youngest got the chicken nuggets and chips... he kept talking about how good they were! I got the muffuletta and a cup of tortilla soup. The soup was just a bit spicy with great flavor and the muffuletta was just a 1/4 of a sandwich but huge and very tasty! The space was big, clean and service was fast! The guy bringing our food was a little less then brilliant (insert tons of sarcasm here) and argued with my wife about if they had put the extra bacon on her potato... it was pretty obvious that if that was extra the normal was none! She ended up getting more. Barring that our food was good and the cost just right!

I have always loved going to Jason's Deli for their all you can eat salad bar. During COVID-19 they make it for you. They did a really great job at building it. There is still inside dining available but it's all spaced apart. I also had a vegetarian pasta dish that's not on their menu that had zucchini, Sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts with a light olive oil sauce & grated Parmesan in top & it was delicious. I have been coming to their San Marcos location & they have NEVER disappointed me.

A familiar restaurant while on TDY can be comforts of home. Took a break from a day of meetings to grab some lunch. While traveling, I really hate eating at the fast food places that are continuously clustered along the highways. However, when I came across the Jason's Deli sign, I quickly made the decision to venture in. Since I went in outside of the average lunchtime hours, the place was quiet but still welcoming. The service staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Order: Manager's Special: Half sandwich (Turkey muffuletta), soup (Spicy Seafood Gumbo), Hibiscus tea.

Don't know where to eat?? Jason's Deli is that choice if you can't make up your mind. The sandwiches they offered are delicious and they all taste almost to exact same no matter which store you are at. Love eating the sandwiches with my Ice Cream Coffee from Teapioca Lounge.

After working here for over a year and a half and working every position besides kitchen, I witnessed and experienced an environment where long-term employees are suddenly fired and pushed out with little transparency or respect. I personally experienced the owner yelling and cursing me out over the phone while given the responsibility of being a manager at 19 years old. management speaks in ways that were unprofessional and degrading to staff that is relatively young. Loyalty and hard work does not matter once employees began standing up for themselves or questioning management decisions. Along with this, I have witnessed the owner simply hiring girls because they "look pretty" on the cameras when management is interviewing them. I was especially disappointed by the way my own situation was handled. While I was on an approved study abroad trip, I was informed over text that there was suddenly "no room" for me anymore despite previous conversations about promotion opportunities. On my birthday. Attempts to communicate directly with ownership were ignored, and there was little professionalism or accountability throughout the process. I have never once in my life been fired from a job, and have always been told I have extremely ruthless work-ethic and impeccable customer service. This place drains the life and soul out of its workers. Customers should also know that some of the "fresh" image marketed by the restaurant is misleading. Drinks such as the orange juice and lemonade are not freshly squeezed in-house as advertised, the orange juice comes from a gallon and the House-Made Lemonade is made with gallons of lemon juice which are mostly bought from HEB. The freshly baked bread (baguette, whole wheat, gluten free, and english muffins) served are frozen and reheated from shipments of frozen bread. I truly cared about this restaurant and the people I worked with, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Professionalism, transparency, and respect for employees should not be optional in any workplace. If you care about the person serving your food, I would not recommend going to The Blue Dahlia.

When we moved to San Marcos and realized they were opening one up across from HEB off exit 205 we both looked at each other and said in unison "uh-oh". Hot chicken sandwiches are one of my favorite things to eat on the planet. Our yearly trips to Nashville aren't complete until I go to Prince's, Hattie Bs and Boltons. The first time we went to Tumble was 2 days after returning from a trip and I'll put T22 up against any of them all day. We have never even gone to the Hattie Bs in Austin because we don't need to. I have tried a couple other hot chicken spots in the area and was severely disappointed. They set the bar that high. A Big Larry is a must have. Blood orange frozen marg with a Gran Mariner floater that is perfect for that Central Texas heat. Bone-in chicken and tenders are great but the OG sandwich is the star of the show. You can choose from 6 different heat levels from nothing to "stupid hot"...which is in fact stupid hot. I go one notch below (cluckin hot) and my wife enjoys dang hot. The OG is huge so come hungry. We have actually taken to ordering the Lil OG so we don't drive home in a coma. Try it Korean style at least once. It doesn't disappoint. They have several other sandwich versions as well so, plenty of variety. The fries are like old school McDonald's fries (compliment, have to get the comeback sauce of course) but the ranch beans are my typical go to. I do wish they had potato salad like other locations but the slaw is great if I'm in the mood to cool things off. They are also know for their pies, I'm partial to the Key Lime. The happy hour menu (4-6pm) is a legitimately good value as well and has items on there you'll actually want to order (Big Larry, Lil OG, etc). The staff, management, bartenders and hosts are always attentive and cheerful. We bring our dogs and sit on the patio and everyone comes by to give them some pets, water bowl and even the occasional treat. You'll love it here just like anyone and everyone we take here who visits from out of town or who we brow-beat in to going who hasn't been yet.

You can definitely tell the national differences across the different countries and I think Vietnamese style are my favorite. Very tasty and I love the texture. We had a Blue Moon that is only second to Tsing Tao beer at an Asian restaurant. For the main course I went with the B5. Shrimp Stir Fry Noodle (Vermicelli) Bowl. It tasted very good! Glad I went with it. Next time I'll try a pork or beef. For some reason the tails are attached to the shrimp. I get it likely is much more flavorful and easier, but it is always awkward to dissect them when you are eating. I'm pretty nimble with chop sticks but I'm not a pro, so I just eat them with my hands with the tails on. But they tasted great! And the bowl was HUGE. We sat, ordered drinks along with the food when we got there. After we realized the people around us that arrived significantly later were already paying to leave, we got up to ask about our food as it had easily been 40 minutes. Got told it would be a couple of minutes, gave us waters. Mind you, we are now over an hour into waiting. Food started to roll out and we kept getting offered free chips in the meantime- sorry but this solves the situation how? We are now going to be full of chips and not food. 2 of the meals still took an extra 20 min after the majority rolled out and of course, my parents' food came out COLD. What were we waiting for on this exactly? A lady, who I am assuming is the manager, came to apologize, told us she would remove the 2 items from the ticket. We were understanding. However, she then admitted they dropped the ball- this is where this place really lost us. She stated that they tried to reheat the plates and just pass it as "fresh." Thank you for finally being honest but this truly just gave me a bad image of management. I felt like they just threw the team under the bus. We asked for the check and when we asked if she did comp the 2 plates, she gave an attitude responding, "I did, I fixed it" and then proceeded to send someone else to check us out. That is not how you manage or take ownership. As a manager myself, you take care of the person full on through to try and turn the situation around. Had she done that or had the staff communicated that they messed up when we had initially asked, we would've been completely fine instead all that happened here. We were in there for about 2.5 hours. Unfortunately left disappointed due to the good reviews we initially saw.
