Love their food! The staff are friendly and fast. They made excellent sandwiches and they were very eager to help us with marking the sandwiches for each person so we wouldn't have to search each sandwich to get it to the right person. Very good experience. I'm a happy customer. read more

I used to have firehouse often because I work right next to the location. I used to recommend people who came in to my store go to Firehouse while waiting for updates or when they needed to go to the bathroom. Not anymore. Rude Management as well as poor food quality has driven me away from the business. I ordered a BBQ cuban sandwhich from their app and when I went to go pick it up, the sandwich was missing the vegetables despite not asking for no vegetables. When I complained to staff members, they took my sandwhich and threw it away, driving up food waste. I asked them to inform me when my sandwhich was done because I didn't have the time to stay in the store as I didn't have time on my lunch break. After waiting 15 minutes with no answer, I called in to try and get an update only to be informed thats management had taken my food from the store and given it to a third party. She confronted me outside my job and proceeded to lambast me for calling in and asking about my food. I was accused of being a thief by said manager and unkind words were exchanged before she left. Due to the kindness of aforementioned third party who was also yelled at by this manager, I was able to finally get my food only to be dismayed by the burned bread and missing pickle! I am shocked and appalled by the rapid decline of the service and food quality within the first month of hiring new management. read more

I used to love this place and would Go for work lunch. I've tried twice in the past month and the food quality has declined and the service is sub-par. That blonde lady behind the counter carries a chip on her shoulder. No. I didn't have a conflict and I wasn't a Karen, but overheard comments and such. Two of us in the store. Food has decreased in quality and zero attention to detail (I did ask for no pickle and extra cheese and got a pickle and no extra cheese-despite the extra charge). I think this was my last visit since the owners aren't paying attention. I guess I'm looking forward to that new sandwich shop now. A dang shame. read more

No stars! I am a first timer. Extremely bad customer service. The blonde girl has quite the attitude. I tried to order my free birthday sub but she refused me. My birthday was the 29th. Today is the 31st. The offer stated in black & white that I have 7 days to redeem it. She did not even try to enter my phone phone # to see if it would accept it. I had to call a third party to get them to accept the offer I was extended. The girl glared at me the entire time. Hostile. No apology. They don't know the job or promotions. She asked if I wanted cheese on my 3 cheese sandwich. Duh. I will never returned. Failed promotion. This girl is costing you business & money. read more

February 26, 2023 @ 4:45 pm. There is obviously something severely wrong with the Maumelle, AR Firehouse Sub store. I went in to place an order to go and the guy behind the counter said he could only take online orders. I was the only person in the store and the employee behind the counter was doing nothing. But he said he was too busy. I pointed out to him that we were the only two people in the store and he still refused to serve me. When I walked into the store, he was sitting on a stool up by the windows doing nothing. On my way out I said this is insane. I then drove to the Firehouse Sub on Chenal in Little Rock and was greeted when I walked in and they were anxious to take my order...and they actually had other customers in the store. I do not see how the Maumelle store can stay in business with this poor mentality of a business. Looking at the other reviews--it appears this is habitual and just think how many people just do not want to take the time to write a review but instead, just not go back to Firehouse Sub. read more

Awesome sandwiches and sauces but service is very slow Their house made sauce that they sell is FANTASTIC, I was looking at all the hot sauces they offer for you to use and it's mindblowing all the choices they have. This sub place is one of the last good ones that are still around. read more

I went to the Firehouse on Maumelle Blvd to eat today, and they were not open for dine in due to staffing, door was locked. No problem, but couldn't really tell because the sign was backwards on the window facing in to the employees. When I tried to point out that I couldn't tell due to the sign, a young man came out, threatened me physically to a fight about the sign, and then told me "Dont order nothing here, Mutherfu**er, cause we aint making your order." When I tried to point out his sign was backwards, he continued on threatening me, telling me "You didn't think I wouldn't come out here and fight you." Dude,I just wanted a sandwich, but the real issue is this: If this employee will go off on me, I have a wife and daughters and there is no way I would ever allow them anywhere near this man. I'm way past the age of fighting over a sandwich, I'm just blowing this up on FB, NextDoor, Google and Yelp. The Maumelle location has continuously been getting worse, but I never thought I would be physically challenged to a fight for trying to order a sandwich. read more

When the guy at the checkout with the toothpick dangling from his mouth says you'll have a 20 minute wait before even ordering, it doesn't look good for the fast food business. There was no line. I gave 2 stars because I have had good service here in the past although not always. If I knew the owner, I would let that person know instead of reviewing, but someone needs to work on this. read more

This trouble plagued fast food place has really gone down hill. Bad customer service. No longer the happy greeting. No longer deliver your sandwich to your table. No thank you when ordering. Very very slow prep time (has always been the case here). A line of sad sandwich preparers begrudgingly slogging through their day. Thought after many months away from here I'd give it one more shot. Truly one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I went to try out Firehouse Subs a few weeks ago for the first time. I was expecting an experience similar to Subway. Instead, I was practically ignored and the girl working the checkout glared at me angrily like I was not welcome there at all. No smiles, no greetings. I paid for my sandwich and stood there for 5 minutes. Finally I sat down. And waited and waited. They only had 2 customers. After 15 minutes, I began to feel like I would never get my sandwich and was pretty hot. I demanded my money back and barely got an apology. There is no excuse for this. It shouldn't take you over 15 minutes make a freaking sandwich!! I will never return to this store again. read more

Have been coming to this store for over 3 years. While I really like Firehouse Subs overall, I must say that this store has been going downhill lately. And, tonight, I think it hit rock bottom. When we got there, only 2 other people were waiting for an order. After waiting 35 minutes, not a single sandwich had been delivered to any table. The staff would not let me come back later and pick up my sandwiches, and I couldn't stay as we had a scheduled appointment. I figured 30-40 minutes was long enough to eat at Firehouse, but - tonight - I was mistaken. As to the quality of the food, I'll have to let you know. Since the 2 sandwiches are going to be sitting in my truck for over an hour and will have to be reheated in a microwave later, I'm not holding out much hope. If there had been any concessions offered, such as, "yes, please come back on your way home and we'll make you a fresh sandwich", then it'd still be a 4-5 star. But there are too many other sandwich shops on my way home to have to deal with this. Take a good book if you go here, because you'll have LOTS of reading time. read more

I love Firehouse subs, but this is a terrible store. The customer service is awful. I received a very small sub and asked why it was so small. I did this very politely and was treated very rudely by several employees. I will continue to go to Firehouse subs, but I will never return to this location. Very poorly run store. read more
