This is the only Firehouse Subs within 30 miles of Wichita that I cannot get my favorite sandwich like I want it. I have ordered from the drive through window, and I have ordered in store the New York Steamer. Several times I have asked for lettuce, tomato, and mayo to be added. When it is rung up , those items I asked for are not added. When I asked for the preps to add it they said I would have to wait for several large orders, When I asked for my money back, the girl got angry. I have to drive to Wichita to get it like I want it and theu have no problems with my order. My sandwich was fresh, warm and delicious. I ordered a large sub because I was hungry, but the portion was too big. I suggest not getting a large sub, unless you want to make two meals out of it. I was very happy that the cashier was aware of the promotion and did not require me to explain what it was. It probably helps that there's a T-Mobile store just across the parking lot. If I came back I would order at least a medium. Staff typical fast food workers and only so engaged and polite. I felt like for the size of the small we over paid. My friend got a hook and ladder which comes with turkey and Ham. when she opened up the sandwich, there was only ham, the onions weren't on it, and no mustard:( We went up to get some turkey put on it and after it was remade, it was only turkey, and they put it on the wrong bread! When I asked if this was the remake because i didn't want to run off with someone else's sandwich, the lady was very rude and she got an attitude with me! My Sandwich looked SO different from the picture. It was very skimpy. I got the brisket and cheddar sandwich, thinking it was going to have more than literally 2 slices of meat in it! Walked in and waited by the sign for online orders, there was already a line there and there's absolutely no acknowledgement that any of us were there. This continues for 10 minutes since I had arrived until the first person in line there has to wave one of the workers down and ask them for the order. Mine had been done that entire time and I could've had it as soon as I had walked in if we weren't ignored. The quality of meats they use is lacking. The steak is full of more fat than is acceptable. The only thing that they have going for them is the staff is friendly and the presentation of the food is acceptable. They do not pay their employees a fair living wage so its surprising anyone takes pride in their jobs. Took my dad here for lunch. I got the medium Italian sandwich. It was delicious. My dad raved about his potato soup. He also got the hero sandwich. Good selection of soda as well out of the soda kiosk. We will definitely go back. We have ate at other firehouse subs and have yet to be disappointed. The food here honestly never disappoints but the biggest draw back for me is the wait time. I'm a frequent mobile orderer for the majority of the locations where I pick up my food because it's most convenient and efficient, but compared to other deli restaurants and fast food places Firehouse has the longest wait time. For example, today I placed an order around 12:50 and pick up time was set for 1:10, but I didn't get my food until 1:25. Plus, NO ONE noticed me of when my order was complete. While not a huge different if you consider the totally preparation time available was nearly 20 min + 15 extra minutes on a day that was not "swamped." I cannot help but feel disappointed. Also this was NOT first time occurrence nearly all of my experiences have been like this. I'd say it's a great spot if you have lots of time and are okay we waiting for your food for a while. read more

I really enjoyed all the different sauces that are available to use. We were nothing but respectful when ordering our food, he huffed and puffed when we requested to change something on our order he then hung up on our face. Five stars yes five but practice makes perfect. I work at Beechcraft and we put them under a stress test more then once. Yes mistakes were made but the Firehouse today is a well oiled machine. The employees are friendly and fast. I love the sauce bar and drink mixer. As for the subs out of the park on Fire love them all and have tried them all. It's a very nice addition to this wonderful city's restaurant lineup. If I was to recommend a sub it would be the New York steamer followed by the Smokehouse brisket. read more

When we first walked in we were greeted with a halfhearted "welcome to Firehouse" from one of the 5 or 6 employees behind the counter. She seemed a bit embarrassed to be the only one giving, what I assume to be, their required greeting. While trying to order our meal the girl at the register seemed more interested in joking around with her coworkers than listening to our order resulting in us having to repeat ourselves several times (very annoying). The sandwiches were what you would expect from Subway or any other low end sub shop and the bread was very bland and dry. Furthermore, my daughter's order was incorrect, which was not surprising considering the employee was not paying attention when we ordered.
